Parents BEWARE … Registered Sex Offenders in Maryland, “No Candy at This Residence.”

Parents this Halloween … BEWARE. The children dressed up as witches, ghosts and ghouls are not the only scary thing out there on Halloween.

The state of Maryland may be on to something when it comes to sex offenders and Sex_offender_signHalloween. For the second year Maryland will make sex offenders post signs at their homes stating, “No Candy at This Residence” to help in the process of keeping predators away from contact with children. However, instead of a no candy sign maybe authorities would just like to put up a “registered sex offender lives here” sign … KEEP OUT!

To discourage contact with children, some registered sex offenders in Maryland will be asked to post signs at their homes that say “No Candy at This Residence,” on Halloween.

For the second straight year, parole and probation agents plan to team with local police to dissuade sex offenders who are not allowed to have contact with children from participating in the holiday.

“There will be some houses where it’s a sex offender’s house and there’s not a ‘No Candy’ sign posted, but in all those instances, someone will be going to the house to make sure the right thing is happening at that house,” Bartholomew said. (Yahoo News)

My God, we’re seeing the case of Michael Devlin in Missouri … and these sex offenders are given the CHOICE of what to do?

And we are dealing with it here in Ct. too. Look at this one….. http://www.theday.com/re.aspx?re=c4556a71-3899-427a-961a-0a0322dbd69b

F****** disgusting. The government can’t tell FREE (not in prison!) people to turn their lights on and off, or to put something on a door THEY OWN.

I have been using a search tool to see the new neighbors and strangers background. If they have a criminal record, I will let my kids away from their home.

      try this tool here

Effectively, this is a death sentence for sex offenders – eventually, the vigilantes will come for them. Even if they’ve repented and lived honorable lives for 30 years. What a great country this – WAS.
