Michael Vick’s Judgement and Career … Up in Smoke, Tests Positive for Marijuana

Vick: Bad guy or bad judgement?Pot-big-joint

Dog fighting, marijuana, what’s next for “Con”-Vick?

There has been a continued debate as to whether disgraced Atlanta Falcon quarterback is a bad guy or just an individual with incredibly poor judgement. The dog fighting charges against Vick are as heinous an act as there is. The visual imagery of the treatment of dogs that win in the pit are bad enough as compared to the ones that lose or are deemed not viscous enough to even compete.

Michael Vick supporters and apologists have stated that he is not a bad guy, just someone who used bad judgement. That might be the understatement of the year. I guess this is just more Vick bad judgement.

Aruba Get Trade Show Wrong as Well … More Bad PR for Aruba … Can Aruba get Anything Right?

Can Aruba get anything right? Does everything have to be some form of a shake down, Aruba_OneSadIslandwhere in the process all that occurs is dissatisfied customers? Aruba still has not learned the concept “the customer is always right” and that there are other places where people can spend their dollars and get treated accordingly. The lack of understandng that concept is quite stunning seeing that Aruba’s economy is based on tourism.

If this was a problem, the ATA should have informed the meeting planners in advance, so that they could have included this in their evaluation.   The action leaves a bitter taste in the mouth now and it has negative influence on a possible recurrence.

Will Aruba ever learn that sometimes its about getting anyone to even want to come to Aruba? Since the disappearance of Natalee Holloway and the bad PR they have received from the questionable investigation and judicial process, Aruba’s tourism has tanked. Aruba has all but begged and lowered prices to entice people to go to Aruba in lieu of forgetting that an American tourist went missing and vanished on their watch.

However, Aruba plays the nepotism and favoritism game again. This time its with set ups for trade shows. Aruban ministers have actually stopped the set up of a trade show so that they could have their own do the job.

According to rumours, a local company that wanted to get the job, went to the minister and told him about it.

Mystery at Sea Aboard The Joe Cool: Kirby Archer and Guillermo Zarabozo Arrested … Crew Missing

A bizarre twist in the story of the mystery at sea where two men, Kirby Archer and Guillermo Zarabozo were just recently rescued from a life raft near an abandoned charter boat 30 miles off the Cuban coast. Archer’s charges stem from a January theft of more than $90,000 from a Wal-Mart in his home state of Arkansas. Both are being held in the federal detention Center in Miami pending a court appearance today.

The charges are initial clues in a case involving an empty boat adrift on a lonely sea, its crew inexplicably missing. Adding to the enigma were the two survivors found in the raft.

Art vs Child Porn: Umm … Elton ? Pictures Seized by Police of Two Young Nude Girls Belong to Elton John (Update: Elton John Pulls Pics)

Art vs. Child Porn:Elton_John

Sir Elton John, this is a far cry from The Lion King. Pictures seized at an art exhibit by British police as part of a child porn probe do in fact belong to Elton John. The picture at the forefront of the controversy is “Klara and Edda belly-dancing” by Nan Goldin.

This has been an ongoing battle and concern as to the debate of what constitutes art and what would be considered child pornography. Many have been skirting the issue of the exploitation of minors for years under the guise of art.

The question has been asked for years, where is the line between nude art and pornography. The best answer seen yet is “somewhere between good and evil”.

The picture, titled “Klara and Edda Belly-Dancing,” shows two nude girls, and was one of 149 photographs by Goldin owned by the rock star.

John confirmed his ownership in a statement on his Web site.
