Hey Dude … Pass the Rice Krispy treats: The Drug Enforcement Agency Bust Marijuana Laced Snack Factory

Unbelievable, they have factories that do this now? So much for making the “special” Browniesbrownies at home … these guys made a cottage industry out of it. The DEA busted a factory that made marijuana laced snack foods. The factory shipped products to medical marijuana dispensaries throughout California and in Seattle; Vancouver, British Columbia; and Amsterdam.

Federal agents said Thursday that they shut down a factory that made marijuana-laced barbecue sauce, chocolate-covered pretzels and other “enhanced” snacks intended for medical users of the drug.

The Drug Enforcement Agency said it arrested three people Wednesday and is looking for a fourth who operated Oakland-based Tainted Inc.

These days there is more than meets the eye in the Caribbean when it comes to vacations, warm weather, sandy beaches and blue oceans. The sex trafficking industry has become part of the economy of sex tourism. However, the business of sex trafficking is becoming a worldwide epidemic that no one is safe from. The “Demand” report focused on Jamaica, Japan, The Netherlands and the United States on the business of sex trafficking and sex tourism.

The report and documentary titled ‘Demand’, from the women and children advocacy organisation, Shared Hope International, was an investigative research in Jamaica, Japan, The Netherlands and the United States, focusing on the business of sex trafficking and sex tourism.

Hollywood Injustice: Phil Spector Case … Hung Jury … Mistrial, DA States there Will be Retrial

Another case of Hollywood Injustice …

If it’s a Los Angeles jury and a celebrity murder case, then it must be another Phil_spector5clueless hung jury. Such was the case once again in the Phil Spector murder case. the 67 year old Phil Spector was accused of shooting 40-year-old actress Lana Clarkson. It may finally be time to have potential jurors to take IQ tests prior to serving on juries.

Once again we have been witness to a judicial system that has a severe flaw when it comes to celebrities. The celebrity defence of Spector and alike is the best that money can buy. When it comes to celebrities, justice is not blind … its all about the dollars.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Larry Paul Fidler declared a mistrial after jurors told him they were deadlocked, 10-2. KNBC’s Doug Kriegel reported that the 10-2 split was in favor of conviction.

“At this time, I will find that the jury is unable to arrive at a verdict and declare a mistrial in this matter,” the judge said. (KNBC)
