What is going on at NASA? We have heard stories of NASA astronauts driving thousands of miles in diapers in twisted plots of kidnapping and love triangle revenge. Now there is sabotaged flight computers and astronauts flying drunk. What is going on at our space program? 12 hours from bottle to throttle?
The US space agency said the damage to wiring in a network box was intentional and obvious, but said it could be repaired before take-off on 7 August
The discovery came as an independent health panel was reported to have found that astronauts had been allowed to fly after drinking alcohol.

Ex-Durham, NC District Attorney is a day late and a dollar short. Today the disbarred 
Nifong stated that there was “no credible evidence” that the Duke LAX players committed a crime. Um, Nifong … then why did you prosecute the case? Maybe you should have made this revelation when you first investigated the alleged rape.
Disgraced former prosecutor Mike Nifong acknowledged Thursday there is “no credible evidence” that three Duke lacrosse players committed any of the crimes he accused them of more than a year ago, offering for the first time a complete and unqualified apology.
Its one thing to apologize. However, it still does not explain why Mike Nifong pursued a prosecution when he knew there was no evidence. That is a criminal act on his part to knowing prosecute with no cause. It will also prove to be a rather costly error on Nifong’s part as civil lawsuits will be filed in the future.
On Thursday, Nifong apologized.
“I agree with the attorney general’s statement that there is no credible evidence that Mr. Seligmann, Mr. Finnerty or Mr. Evans committed any of the crimes for which they were indicted — or any other crimes against (the accuser) — during the party,” Nifong said. He declined to comment further after the hearing, as did his attorneys. (Yahoo News)
Tour de Farce (France), Race Leader Michael Rasmussen Ordered Withdrawal By Sponsor (Missed Drug Testing)
The Tour de France has gone from yellow jersey to black eye to death nail. How much more embarrassment can this sport endure? One really needs to question the logic of allowing Rasmussen to compete in the first place if there were so many suspect issues preceding the race. The race leader sent packing as the Tour de France staggers into Paris amidst controversy again.
Tour de France leader Michael Rasmussen was all but assured to win this years race after the his most recent win in the mountain climb stage. A sure win until he was asked to withdrawal by his team sponsor.
Some French newspapers declared the Tour dead Thursday and said it should be stopped after the bombshell announcement late Wednesday night that Rasmussen’s team was sending the Dane home for lying.

Three armed and masked men held up the Famia Supermarket, shot the owners in the leg and took off with their spoils. According to reports, 2 of the 3 suspects have been arrested. There is no truth to the rumor that the Aruban police first arrested 2 black security guards before actually arresting those responsible for the crime … One Happy and Safe Island.
ORANJESTAD – A Chinese supermarket in Mabon was attacked with a weapon last night. The two owners were shot in the leg during the hold-up.
