Hero: Concerned Motorist Aides Kidnapped Woman in Florida, Marcus Young Arrested

If you think you can’t make a difference in preventing crime, think again. All it takes is caring enough to get involved. A Florida motorist did just that and saved a Panama City kidnap victim from an uncertain and possibly tragic set of events. 54 year old Marcus Young was stopped and arrested after an observant motorists saw a woman bound with duck tape in his vehicle. One only knows what might have happened to this woman if this motorist did not take the time to get involved and report what they saw.

FHP troopers say 54-year-old Marcus Young apologized for kidnapping a woman friend from Ybor City. Young was stopped in his white Chevy Blazer on the on-ramp to I-275, after a motorist spotted the 35-year-old Panama City woman bound with duct tape in the back.

McColb says young was quiet and kept to himself except for nudist parties he threw in his back yard. Neighbors say young never stuck them as a violent man.

God Bless that motorist. Whos knows what that poor woman would have suffered. It’s heartwarming to know there is still people out there who will take time to become involved.

The courts we let him go lightly. They will make him promise to stay away from duct tape. Please just go ahead and put the nudist pervert away.

Nudist parties in his back yard? Uh, yeah, I guess that’s normal behavior. They ought to send him up to Vermont in the winter … actually, we have all the weirdos we need.

At least somebody was decent enough to get involved. It might be that a life was saved.
