HAPPY 4TH OF JULY … INDEPENDENCE DAY

As we celebrate America’s birthday today, please do not ever forget that independence and freedom are never free. The sacrifice of bravery of so many some 231 years earlier and today are what maintain our Independence. Those words scribed in The Declaration of Independence ring just as powerful today as they did in 1776.

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Here’s a blast from the past … “The Shot Heard ‘Round the World”

 
As the Gateway Pundits reminds us that The United States is “Still… The Home of the Brave and the Land of the Free”.
 
Maybe many of our present day politicians in Congress can take a page from those brave men from 1776. It would appear that Americans today would rather prefer the politicians from 1776 as on 46% say Congress is doing a poor job. Thank God the present day Congress was not a part of The Continental Congress of 1776.

      Our Congress now seems to be made up of wealthy politicians who look out for the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical,Corporations, lobbists or whoever else can line their pockets.

      Presidential pardons for the guilty.
      President wants amnesty for cheap wage earners.
      I guess that will hold down the USA wage earner.
      Further stifle the middle income and poor.

      People can’t say under god in school. People are afraid of offending some religions, nationalities or whatever.

      Your President attends some Muslim (Islam) get together like things are O.K.

      I think this is not what was planned in for us in 1776.

      Made in USA is now made in China.

      Spanish comes on first on the telephone. Could people coming here be required to learn English.

      Happy 4th of July all.. Sometimes I think we are so spoiled in this country with all we have, we many times take it for granted. I’ve learned each day to look around and really take in the scenery and sights and realize just how lucky we are and how far we have come. Learn to be happy with what you have and appreciate the simple things. Thank you to all the men and women who have sacrificed their lives to make that possible. I wouldn’t live any place else.
