Moonbats Hate the USA … Nut Jobs at Code Pink Heckle the President as GWB Salutes New Americans at July 4 Ceremony

What will Code Pink do when GWB is finally out of office?

Some people are so misguided and allow their hatred to get in the way of any form of dignity, respect, class or common sense. The lunatics of Code Pink have struck again with their “impeach Bush” nonsense. This time protesting a 4th of July naturalization ceremony at Monticello, the home of Thomas Jefferson. Have these people no shame? Is it possible that they could show any sense of decorum? However, as the Gateway Pundit reminds us all, Here’s another reminder that nothing is sacred to the Left.

There is something seriously wrong with the Left. Their blind hatred of GWB has consumed their very fiber and souls. There is protest and then there is respectful protest. The Left has long since forgotten the word respect. I am all for free speech, but free speck does not mean that people have to listen to you, nor does it mean one has a right to be disruptive. This event was about new citizens, not about Code Pink un-Patriotism, Pinko style.

What is President Bush’s reaction to the rude and ridiculous behavior of these protectors … “To my fellow citizens to be, we believe in free speech in the United States of America.”

I would agree with the person in the crowd who at the end tells these moonbat fools to, “Shut up and sit down”. They were exercising their free speech rights as well. Code Pink … here is some free speech for ya.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!!!

“There is something seriously wrong with the Left. Their blind hatred of GWB has consumed their very fiber and souls.”

There is something seriously wrong with the right. Their blind hatred of the left has consumed their very fiber and souls.

“There is protest and then there is respectful protest.”

Agreed. Respectful protest should be the norm. But people who’ve tried to protest during George W. Bush’s rule have been consigned to pens blocks from where he might actually see or hear them, not once but routinely. A middle-aged grade-school teacher was hauled away from one of Bush’s 2005 Social Security propaganda gatherings in a police car, on the order of a Republican Party event manager. Why? Because the teacher wore a T-shirt on which was printed, “Support Democracy Now!” She didn’t say or do anything the least bit disruptive.

Bush has been the most determinedly insulate and isolated president in U.S. history. That began with his first inauguration and continues to the present. Code Pink being able to confront him within hearing distance was a remarkable exception.

“The Left has long since forgotten the word respect.”

You know, I thought that same thing in 2000, when paid — by the GOP — protesters were sent from the Washington, D.C., area to Florida, to raise hell and turn the attempt to get a fair, accurate and complete vote recount into an ugly spectacle and a farce, so the recount would be stopped. That showed a complete lack of respect not just for the opposition party and its candidate, but more importantly for the voting public and America’s political process and traditions.

As you’ve probably concluded, I’m a liberal Democrat. Respect isn’t referring to people like me as moonbats. Just as all Republicans aren’t Tom DeLays, Jack Abramoffs and Karl Roves, all liberal Democrats aren’t like Code Pink.

You’re welcome for the reality check. Have a nice Fourth of July.

Free Speech means being removed by security. More War!

There is something seriously wrong with anyone who would protest the legalization/naturalization of non-citizens who have taken the necessary steps to become American citizens (it was really all about GWB)…

Send the hateful “moonbats” to communist China, Cuba, or North Korea to see just how fast their “freedom of speech” is taken away :-)

If you don’t love the good old US of A, please leave and never come back!!

I just want to second what S.W. Anderson so eloquently stated, in much more diplomatic tones than I could have mustered.

#1 needs the reality check. These poor lost souls have no clue.

    7. richard on July 5th, 2008 8:07 am

Nobody denies their right to heckle. The question is … do they have a coherent program, other than being seen on TV?

Or are they on the level of Abbie Hoffman, the self-promoter who said “Freedom is the right to yell ‘Theater!’ in a crowded fire”?

    8. Rammstein on July 5th, 2008 10:27 am

Shouting IMPEACH Bush shows they dislike Bush, not that they hate the USA.

I think hecklers/stalkers/disruptive people can be heckled and followed in kind.

In the world of stock trading that is precisely what civil service minded volunteers do to marketing liars of unsavory public issues; right after the lowly individual deadbeat. Not much they can do that hides them from having their idenity and renumeration exposed.

      #3 …

No, that is what happens when one stupidly goes toward a stage with the President of the Unites States on it.

It could have been a Republican or a Democrat … the same thing would have occurred. That is what the job of the Secret Service is.

No one knows what a nut job has in store.

      Get a clue!

I am against any one doing disrespectful protest. It is not a Dem or Rep thing, however, the LEFT always seems to be doing it. Do not even pretend to say otherwise.

The LEFT claims they are all about “free speech”. WRONG … you are all about “your” free speech.

You could care less what other have to say or their opinions. Its about having your right to free speech even when it is done in a classless manner.

How many times at college events have left-wing nut jobs stormed a stage and attacked a conservative speaker? One too many to count.

Part of free speech, is having to deal with others free speech that you cannot stand to hear in a peaceful and respectful manner.

Sometimes, believe it or not its not about YOU and your speech. Its about the people who the actual ceremony is for.

However, let me say this and its the reason why I love and am a defender of free speech. Its a double edged sword. Let idiots be idiots and that all that the Code Pink fools were the other day.

More people got pissed off by their actions than they could have ever converted to their way.

The more moonbats go nuts … the more they harm themselves in the process … Long live free speech.

These very people that express their freedom of speech are the very people that would deny others from the very same right.

This event was not about GWB. It was about new US citizens being sworn in on the 4th. However, in the 24/7 world of hate GWB leftists, its always about hate George all the time.

The crowd at this event proved a very important right in America that does not exist.

Although there is freedom of speech, there is no right stated anywhere that says there is a right that people have to listen.

The crowd had the right to their free speech and to theses fools to shut the F#@$ up and sit down. Interestingly enough they did. Why? Because no one wanted to hear their BS and they knew it.

12 SM, We are in total agreement, guess my screwy witing style put out a twisted meaning.

By all means I believe in free speech. MOre freedoms the better. But someone does not have the right to be at my driveway harrassing me and disallowing my free life, nor should they be able to shout over my fence without restriction, not even to scream at me for shooting turtles out of my pond. There are plenty of venues to express discontent without the protester being able to willfully prevent an intended law abiding event. But of course something as intention known and respectfull as what the Pres was doing.

I was trying to say those who deny others their right of free life should in turn have their free life disrupted in kind.

    14. Scared Monkeys on July 5th, 2008 2:13 pm

      #13,

Nope I actually agree with you on what you are saying.

What I am saying is let these fools and fools like them hand themselves with their own actions and words.

Their disrespect for others speaks volumes of them as people and their cause.

    15. bob on July 5th, 2008 3:07 pm

      Richard,

The hecklers are part of a “controlled opposition” and so JWB approves of them. THEY always create their own opposition. This creates apathy and passivity (if that’s a word) among the populace who thinks someone is out there fighting their fight.

    16. S.W. Anderson on July 5th, 2008 4:56 pm

Scared Monkeys either didn’t read my comment (#1) very carefully or had trouble understanding it. Something about the word “agreed” proved to be an insurmountable problem. So, let me put it in simpler terms.

Code Pink’s approach strikes most people as childish, ill-mannered attention seeking. Their antics don’t win friends or influence people in a positive way.

But make no mistake, Code Pink’s turnoff tactics are far less insidious and damaging to our politics than the deceit, secretiveness and isolation of Bush, Cheney and the rest of the administration’s unindicted co-conspirators.

How many times at college events have left-wing nut jobs stormed a stage and attacked a conservative speaker? One too many to count.

True enough. A year or two ago, some clod in Portland, Ore., heaved his sneaker at Richard Perle during a speaking engagement. I wrote a post condemning the clod for his boorish, stupid behavior.

So much for, “You could care less what other have to say or their opinions. . .”

#10, in a lot of countries they would have been shot before they’d run l0 steps. then, all their friends and families would have been invited to police stations for a friendly conversation to make sure there weren’t any more people who might try the same thing.
