‘Pot-Sicles’ Sold By Illegal Immigrant from Ice Cream Truck

I guess this is just another example of an illegal immigrant in the USA doing a job that PopsiclesAmericans do not want to do. Isn’t that the justification we are told as the excuse for why illegals should be allowed in the US? Well in this case it was selling pot to elementary school children. Is this what the Amnesty plan for illegals put forth last week is supposed to be for? 40 year old Raymundo Flores, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, was arrested by police for selling bags of pot from his ice cream truck.

MISSION, Texas (AP) — Police say the jingle of this ice cream truck meant pot-sickles. Police say elementary school students tipped them off to an ice cream truck driver who was apparently selling $5 and $10 bags of marijuana from the truck. Most customers were in the third, fourth, and fifth grades.

“It’s a scary thought, but that’s the info we received,” Mission police Chief Leo Longoria said.

(Don’t mess with a monkey and his popsicle)

One wonders what flavors Senior Flores was selling? Raspberry reefer delight, coconut cannabis madness or marshmallow marijuana in a wafer cone.

11 Year Old Kills Monster Pig, Larger Than Hogzilla

An 11 year old Alabama boy spent 3 hours completing the hunt of a wild boar that weighed in at 1,051 pounds and measured 9 feet 4 inches. The animal now known as Monster Pig is the largest wild boar ever killed or captured, breaking the record of Georgia’s Hogzilla.

We have covered the original Hogzilla, which is now being made into a horror film,  and the second Hogzilla found not far from my home. This monster is just amazing though. To think that animals this size have been able to grow and not be discovered by humans is hard to fathom.

Jamison, who killed his first deer at age 5, was hunting with father Mike Stone and two guides in east Alabama on May 3 when he bagged Hogzilla II. He said he shot the huge animal eight times with a .50- caliber revolver and chased it for three hours through hilly woods before finishing it off with a point-blank shot.

Through it all there was the fear that the animal would turn and charge them, as wild boars have a reputation of doing. “I was a little bit scared, a little bit excited,” said Jamison, who just finished the sixth grade on the honor roll at Christian Heritage Academy, a small, private school.

His father said that, just to be extra safe, he and the guides had high-powered rifles aimed and ready to fire in case the beast with 5- inch tusks decided to charge. With the pig finally dead in a creek bed on the 2,500-acre Lost Creek Plantation, a commercial hunting preserve in Delta, trees had to be cut down and a backhoe brought in to bring Jamison’s prize out of the woods.  via the AP

Rosie O’Donnell and The View … Going, Going Gone

Yes Virginia … there is a Santa Claus. Rosie O’Donnell will not be returning to The Rosie o'donnellView. Forgive us while we shed a collective tear, NOT! The ridiculousness and obnoxious and hateful tirades that O’Donnell reaches an all time low this past week when O’Donnell had at it with co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

In a statement today, Brian Frons, the president of Disney-ABC’s Daytime Television Group, said, “We had hoped that Rosie would be with us until the end of her contract three weeks from now, but Rosie has informed us that she would like an early leave. Therefore, we part ways, thank her for her tremendous contribution to ‘The View’ and wish her well.” (ABC)

And here is the final straw as to why a loud mouth, opportunist is no longer on “The View”

Its rather amusing to see it thrown back in Rosie’s face and her unable to handle it.

Aruba, No Matter How You Spin it … the Airport Numbers were Down for 2006

Aruba continues the excuse and play the  spin game with regards to traffic to their airport. We all Aruban Tourism Dummiesknow that numbers can be manipulated to state any outcome; however, the AAA cannot spin away the fact that 4% less people used the airport in Aruba in 2006 as compared to 2005. It is a remarkable fact that their number continues to go downward. When is a 4% decrease in airport traffic a good thing? When the airport is in Aruba.

In 2006, 1.638.126 passengers used the airport compared with 1.714.523 in 2005; a drop of 4 percent.

Aruba continues to make every excuse as to the reason for the decreases, except for the obvious and most notable one.

There was a slight decrease in the region; Aruba had a forceful decrease.   This can be blamed on the increased room rates of the hotels, the reduced availability of the hotel rooms due to renovations, and the enormous increase of the oil price.

Aruba believes that if they throw money at the problem that will solve their problem. However, we know different. Justice for Natalee solves their problem. The sooner they figure it out, the sooner Aruba can go on.

Steinmetz anticipates that qua number of passengers, AAA will be back on the level of 2005 in 2007.   A lot of money is going to be invested in the airport on the runway, the runway lighting, the taxiway, the aprons, and the departure hall for travelers to the US .

Amigoe, May25, 2007:  2006 Was not a bad year for AAA

ORANJESTAD – Despite the drop in the number of passengers in the first 7 months of 2006, Aruba Airport Authority (AAA) closed the year with the same financial result as in 2005.   The reason for this is that there was an increase in the number of passengers in the last months of 2006 and because of the considerable cut in the operational costs.
