In Aruba its not About the decrease in Tourism, but the Increase in Drugs
So what is the #1 money maker in Aruba, tourism or drugs? Can one only imagine the amount of cocaine, heroine, marijuana, XTC, etc that get through without being confiscated? How can an island have this type a problem when it is so small, confined and every one knows every one?
In the first 11 months of 2006, 3000 kilo cocaine was intercepted in Aruba. This is 9 percent more than in the entire year of 2005.
In the report, Aruba is still being considered as a transfer place for drugs via airplane and cruise ship to the US; not so much to Europe. Besides, it is remarkable that heroine is being mentioned as number one and cocaine as number two, while considering the amounts that were intercepted, you would expect the contrary.
The report in Amigoe states that there are known drug gangs on Aruba. That they are active and that drugs can be purchased at ones convenience. Exactly how is it possible that an island so small where everyone knows everyone that such things are can go on without the police or government’s knowledge? Aruba is only so big. There are only so many places to search and people to question, yet it continues.

Is it True? Rudy Thumpin Hillary in Swing States PA, FL, and OH?
Well thumpin might not be the perfect word, but leading in these swing states may make Hillary’s team sweat a bit more at night. If Hillary is not even the top New York candidate, or Illinois, but most likely Arkansas, she is in a boat load of trouble.
Maybe the worlds smartest woman may look into the crystal ball and see that she is not going to be the winner and go back to the Senate where her damage can be mitigated.
In the head-to-head showdown, Giuliani thumps Clinton by 11 points in Pennsylvania and bests her by 5 in Florida – while the former first lady edges America’s Mayor by one point in the Buckeye State.
Giuliani crushes Clinton nemesis Barack Obama in all three states, racking up 12-point leads in Florida and Pennsylvania and a 4-point cushion in Ohio.
The Quinnipiac University poll found an eye-popping 51 percent of Pennsylvania voters back Giuliani – including 20 percent of Keystone State Democrats – over Clinton, who pulled in 40 percent support. Clinton eked out only a 1-point edge with women. via New York Post Online Edition.
Oh, and Rudy is also beating the tail off of Obama too…

Boston Woman Sues for “wrongful birth” after failed abortion … How Wrong is This?
It just doesn’t get any more wrong than being able to sue for “wrongful birth”. What have we come to? A Boston woman sues after giving birth after a failed abortion.
The complaint was filed by Jennifer Raper, 45, last week in Suffolk Superior Court and still must be screened by a special panel before it can proceed to trial. (Boston Globe)
One might ask the question if this woman should even have a child that she wished dead. Have we lost our collective minds as a society. Whether abortion is legal or not, she wanted this child dead. Why are we going to pay her to bring up a child she did not want? This is insane. Seems that The Corner has the same issue.
That the phrase “wrongful birth” exists and a mother would ever conceive of making a legal case out of wishing her kid was never born does always seem to me a clear sign the end is nigh and Judgement Day won’t be merciful to our national soul.
One would ask the obvious question. Why is she suing for damages? Are the damages the cost of raising a child? It would seem obvious that if she was willing to kill, excuse me I mean abort the child then why doesn’t she just give the child up for adoption. Wouldn’t that be the obvious thing to do? She does not want the child so why does she keep it? Because its a meal ticket, not a baby. Honestly, what does this woman ever say to her baby later on in life? We wished you were dead, but it turned out better that you lived. WTF! Red State sums it up all too well.
This story, however, is different in this respect; the abortion sought by the woman in this case sought an abortion purely for financial reasons. Thus, when her child grows up, she will not even be able to say to her child, “I wanted to save you the suffering that I knew your life will entail.” Instead, her story will be “I just wished that you were dead because I didn’t want to pay to raise you.”
This is truly one of the most repulsive stories I have seen in quite some time. Looking to financially gain off a child you wanted dead. I am at a loss for words.
- Stop the ACLU: To think, even after living two years with the blessing of this little miracle this sick woman still looks at her daughter as an “unwanted child.”
- The American Mind: “Gee mom, do you still want me dead?”

Dumbest Criminal of the Week: Unzipped Fly Leads to Drug Bust
Don’t ever let anyone tell you that drugs do not affect the brain. The following stories may be proof positive. This should be a lesson to all men to always check your fly. This Wisconsin man was wishing he had prior to his encounter with the police. There is no truth to the rumor that this man waived his one phone call in lieu of a bag of Doritos.
SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) – Too bad nobody told him his fly was down. A 22-year-old man was arrested for drug possession after police found a marijuana pipe and drugs stashed in his underwear.
As embarrassingly bad as the above story is, it may be worse when one crashes into a police vehicle with 43 pounds of marijuana in your trunk. It certainly was the easiest drug busts for these South Carolina police.
