Joran Van der Sloot – Stephen Grant Comparison … How do crimes Differ? Sometimes its in the Confession

Sometimes the only thing that differs in a crime from being solved is the amount of help one receives to cover up the crime.

GrantSloot_COMP

So many crimes that are committed have such similar MO’s. The anatomy of solving the crime; however, can be much different.

What happens when the police look for a confession vs. wanting to suppress one?

In the end one sociopath deserves another.

One obvious difference is the age. Joran VanDerSloot is a confessed kidnapper and rapist suspected of murder and was ID’d as a Sociopath at the tender age of 17. A sociopath only a parent could love. Nice job Anita and Paulus, you must be so proud of your spawn.

No their is more difference than that Grant’s eyeballs are much bigger.

The world is getting so twisted when spouses decide that the best way to get rid of a spouse is to just kill them. This is happening more and more (and also happening to kids when parents find them “inconvenient”)and it should be a good clue as to where this society is going.

    4. Observer on March 5th, 2007 9:49 pm

Thats the sick part about this story is I beleave he already confessed. I guess it gives the sloots a bit of peace knowing that and they have little worries they will ever be prosecuted.

There Lawyer Antonio Carlo also got some things off his chest to Karen Janssen so he must feel great as well. You could expect that from criminals and there attorney but not the people we trusted and relied upon the most!! Thanks for getting justice for Natalee..Karen!!I hope charma follows you the rest of your life..

If you ever wanted to do anything for natalee this may be your best opportunity. Aruba is investing big at this event!! Boston and the surrounding areas continue to visit Aruba by the tens of thousands.

It is going on 2 years and it doesnt look like Natalee will get any justice anytime soon. This family was wronged in the worst way and if you care, now is the time to make a stand.

Here’s the difference – there is no evidence a crime took place in Aruba.
Unless you believe in the infamous “lack of evidence is evidence” mantra. lol

For what it’s worth, here’s the reply from the Dutch prime minister to my last letter. My letter follows his response.
Most of my points weren’t addressed, unsurprisingly.

      (address)
      Feb. 27, 2007

      Dear (Richard),

Thank you for your letter of 28th January 2007 on the Natalee Holloway case. As stated in my previous response to your letters, I sympathise with your concerns. As Prime Minister I am not, however, authorised to intervene in criminal investigations. For additional information on this case please contact the Public Prosecution Service in Aruba. Contact details are as follows:

      Email: om.aruba@setarnet.aw

      Yours sincerely,

Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands,

      /s/ Dr. Jan Peter Balkenende

My letter to which he refers follows:

      (address)
      January 28, 2007

      The Hon. Jan Peter Balkenende
Prime Minister and Minister of General Affairs
      Ministry of General Affairs
      Binnenhof 20
      P.O. Box 20001
      2500 The Hague
      The Netherlands

      Sir:

Emboldened by your courteous reply of August 23 to my previous letters, I am again taking the liberty of writing in regard to the case of Natalee Holloway, missing in Aruba. You are doubtless aware that Karin Janssen, formerly chief prosecutor for Aruba, has returned to the Netherlands. She claims that she wished to renew her contract, in large part to continue pursuing the Natalee Holloway case, but that this was not allowed.

Whatever the truth of her claim, her presence in the Netherlands providesan opportunity for you to hear directly about this claim from a responsible Aruban official. No doubt it is presumptuous for me to suggest that such an interview be held, if it has not been done already, but given the urgency of the matter at hand I hope that you will excuse my zeal.
Letting the public know that such an interview has been held could stimulate Aruban interest in the case and help dispel suspicions that finding an interest in a solution is lacking.

The public might also appreciate your confronting Joran van der Sloot and demanding clarification of his statement that “someday, but not now” he would disclose the “truth” of what happened to Natalee Holloway. In my view, his intransigence could indicate his presence in a law-abiding country such as the Netherlands is not in the public interest.

Many Americans fail to understand why carrying out searches for Natalee Holloway has become the duty of her family and volunteers, not of Aruba. The Dutch navy has vessels stationed in the Caribbean to fight narcotics traffickers; is it not possible to deploy some of these, and the skills of their trained personnel, in a water search? Likewise, I am sure that the family know what land areas of Aruba have been searched; a joint effort by our two nations would demonstrate that while Aruba is indifferent, the Netherlands is not.

I remain grateful for your willingness to receive suggestions in our bilateral tragedy.

      Respectfully,

      /s/ (Richard)

    25. NOT AS STUPID AS YOU THINK on March 6th, 2007 12:38 pm

There is more involved with Natalee’s abduction and disappearance. Stephen Grant was intimate with his wife — she was no stranger — and he wanted to get rid of her. (Excuse me, haven’t these murders ever heard of DIVORCE ?? — no that’s right they feel THEY deserve the whole pie and want all the assets, including in his case the children.) Obviously, just looking at the man and you can tell he is not working with a “full deck of cards”. I certainly hope he gets what he deserves!!!!

The abduction of Natalee was the arrogance of a ruling class in Aruba — thus they DID cover it up — which to me is 10 times more dangerous to the tourists who visit Aruba.

Logic dictates that there must have been a chain of command established by the “powers that be” prior to a representative of the Aruban Justice Ministry and .. a representative of the Aruban Law Enforcement submitting respective news releases to the Associated Press and Fox News that one of the suspects confessed that “something bad happened” to Natalee; she was confirmed dead and the location of her body was known.

David Cruz, a spokesman for the Aruban Minister of Justice (search) told FOX News Natalee Holloway (search), who was on vacation with friends with a graduation trip when she disappeared, was confirmed dead and that authorities knew the location of her body. However, Cruz later retracted the statement, saying he was a victim of a “misinformation campaign.”
      .
      Gerold Dompig
      Associated Press
      June 12, 2005
Deputy Police Commissioner, Gerold Dompig, told The Associated Press that one of three young men arrested in the case admitted “something bad happened” to Holloway and was leading police to the scene. Prosecutors refused to comment on Dompig’s statement, and Dompig himself refused to identify which of the three young men who took Holloway to the Northern beach the night she went missing made the statement.

      Paul Reynolds
      ‘Scarborough Country’
      July 12, 2005
PAUL REYNOLDS, UNCLE OF NATALEE HOLLOWAY: i know that my sister had a meeting with the FBI June 10, Friday. And from that meeting, she became convinced that Natalee was no longer alive. She called her mother and told her that. And our family was-was-began the grieving process. You know, we were told the report would come out the next day. Later that night, we saw the reports that confessions had been made, that something bad had happened. Shortly thereafter, it was retracted. The next morning, there was a report that said Natalee was confirmed dead. And these reports came from the deputy commissioner. They came from the spokesperson from the Ministry of Justice.

I think the case may be closed in
May. Someone said the other day, and it
is very true, that if they haven’t reeled in
      the murdering-gangraping VAN DER SLOOTS
and KALPOE criminals by now… it probably will not
not happen. They have no intentions (or so it would appear)
to bring these slimebags in for *ANY* LAWS THAT THEY HAVE BROKEN.

*NOT EVEN- Joran’s self admitted rape of Natalee.*

So with that, I hope they enjoy their last few months
on Earth. I think just as sure as (you know what) that
if the case goes cold, their bodies will likely be
turning up somewhere shortly thereafter in the same
condition. Someone will put them on ice.

That’s what I thought for a long time now. Joran, Deepak and possibly Freddy were at the Sloots when Beth arrived that night. Paulus created this diversion because whoever was at his house needed to make a clear get away. So now Paulus arrives at the casino and he calls Joran and says where are you and Joran says to Paulus you can come home now the coast is clear and we will be waiting outside for you.

Now this was nighttime and the Sloots never expected Beth to arrive that quickly and find out that Natalee was with Joran and also find his home to boot. I am betting there could have possibly been a few more people at the Sloot house in conference with Paulus in another room where Freddy, Deepak and Joran couldn’t hear them.

Any thoughts on who else might have been at the Sloots that night? I am going with Van der Straaten and Ben Vocking.
