Jet Blue Passengers Feeling Blue Again in Wake of Snow Storm

First JetBlue had the St Valentine’s Day Massacre, now they see another 68 flights canceled in and out of JFK today.

The JetBlue Airways Corp. cancellations, from among its more than 175 scheduled flights at the Queens airport, were to make sure crews and planes are in the right places so the company can quickly resume operations after the snow storm, spokeswoman Alison Eshelman said Sunday.

      What’s the problem?

Both UAL and AMR cancelled SCORES of flights into ORD yesterday (2/25). In fact, I spoke with two passengers who on a SWA flight that were told their UAL flight to ORD was cancelled and would be rebooked for Tuesday “at the earliest”

Cancelling flights in the face of major winter weather is not uncommon and is done for many reasons — to include passenger safety.

For the record, I am not employed by, nor do I have financial interst in any commercial or private air carrier.
