California No Spanking Bill Will Now not Ban “Spanking”
When is a “no spanking” bill not a no spanking bill? When the California law maker takes the exact “no spanking” wording from the bill. Why were the words removed? Simple. There was not even close to enough support to pass such a bill. So now the “no spanking” bill goes forward void of spanking. Guess they may want to refer to it as the no beating of a child with a stick, rod, belt or closed fist. Don’t we already have laws on the books that state this?
The controversial “no spanking” bill has been severely altered.
The assembly’s second-ranking Democrat, Sally Lieber, entered the Capitol Thursday to deliver her anticipated no-spanking bill.
The bill originally would have banned parents from spanking kids under the age of 3 years old, but the Democrats were ridiculed in editorials and comedy shows, Luery reported.
Now, the bill does not use the word spanking. (NBC 11)

Let me guess miss sally don’t have kids and has never babyset before. I don’t beleive in beating a child with fist, or til you half kill them but a little spank on the ole butt never hurt anyone. If it had not been for my mom spanking us me and my brother would be inmates in some prison about now! The Bible tells you spare the rod, spoil the child, english translation ( if you don’t correct your child, look out gangster in the works).
Only in America. For the last 20 – 25 years parents have been focused on their child’s self esteem. Kids run the household. There is no punishment except for maybe a short, stupid “time out” and no correction for bad behavior. After all “Spanking enocourages violence.” So when there was spanking, the worst violation of school rules was chewing gum or (shudder) shooting a spit ball. Now that today’s stupid parents have adopted the no violence rules via no spanking and other hair brained ideas, the worst violation of schools rules might be bringing a .357 magnum to class or a butterfly knife or killing a teacher or fellow student just because it seemed necessary. It’s all so sick.
in my opinion my generation needs to have their
butts whipped for not whipping their children and for allowing such nonsense to begin with
