Russian Hospital up for Pediatrics Care of the Year Award … Gagging Babies???

Tired of listening to your new born cry? Do what they do in a Yekaterinburg hospital … gag the babies so you can’t hear them cry. We kid you not. Some how I do not think Dr. Spock would approve. Yekaterinberg is near the Kazakhstan border. Maybe Borat wasn’t joking when he was doing his comedy routine.

“I heard that a baby was mumbling in a neighboring room; when I looked in, I saw the baby with plaster over his mouth; he could not cry or do anything, was just mumbling,” she told Reuters television. (BBC)

   I just talked to one of the police officers that work in my neighborhood. He had a picture of a young girl, probably, two years old, taped to his dashboard. She was wearing a tee-shirt that said, “Straight from Russia” on it; so I asked if she was his child. He told me that he and his wife had just adopted her from Russia.

   There are millions of people who are interested in adopting a child. Sounds to me like they need to try Russia… what a blessing that would be for these precious children.
