Aruba: (Kalpoes) Who is Trying to Make Money off a missing and Presumed Dead Natalee Holloway?

WHY PIGS GET FAT AND HOGS GET SLAUGHTERED

Bondia012707_lawsuit

(Bondia 1/27/07)

In discussing the death of Jamie Skeeters, Aruba Bondia makes reference of the $10 million law suit that the Kalpoe brothers brought against The Dr. Phil Show and Jaime Skeeters. Which brings us to the obvious question, who is trying to make money off a missing and most likely deceased Natalee Holloway? Who really thinks that any possible damage to them could be worth $10 million? The question arises, why didn’t they sue the Aruban government as Paulus Van der Sloot did for false imprisonment if they are innocent or felt damaged in any way by the circumstances of being accused of Natalee’s disappearance?

Does anyone honestly think that any alleged damage to the Kalpoe’s, who are still prime Drevil_million_dollarssuspects in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, could ever be $10 million? I think they have watched one too many Dr Evil/Austin Powers movies. Honestly, nothing they would have ever done in their lives would have amounted to them being worth much of anything. However, in the day of the almighty law suit these boys went for the lottery and it will most likely cost them dearly.

The law suit was mentioned in circles behind the scenes for months. Many, present company included, had hoped that Phil Mc Graw et al would not settle to the ridiculous demands set forth by the Kalpoe’s. As it turned out, they did not and the Kalpoe’s went forth with their law suit for $10 million. In the process they opened themselves up to United States jurisdiction. That in turn led to their being sued by Beth Twitty and Dave Holloway. What do you think is the reason why Joran Van der Sloot never pressed his luck with law suits in the US?  Jurisdiction that will now hold, thanks to the Kalpoe’s greed for taking the bait. Their ultimate greed will lead to their own prosecution.

Hogs

Thus leading to the age old adage … “Pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered”.

      All I can say is:

      a. Their attorney must not be too bright.
      b. 10 million dollars, are they kidding?
      c. The Dr. Evil picture is just hilarious, especially in reference to the ridiculousness of their lawsuit.

Let’s hope this is the slip-up we’ve all been praying for, and that maybe it will finally bring justice for Natalee and her family.

      Kalpoes are greedy and stupid.

I bet they thought Dr. Phil would settle.

I bet the weasels think they can lie.

What a rude awakening it will be.

      Think about it?

They have been ducking the Holloway/Twitty Civil law suit as has JVDS forever. Now through their own greed they have brought all they they have run from upon themselves.

No less in a US jurisdiction.

What do they say at the end of the Guinness beer commercials? Brilliant!!!

if i’m not mistaken, when beth and company were looking for identification of the j2k, weren’t they identified as drug dealers by locals on the beach? so deepak and satish think their reputations as drug dealers have been impugned? what a concept for a lawsuit.

Maybe Paulus, Joran, Deepak and Satish as well as those involved in the coverup will “prosper” for a season but a time will come when each will stand alone before the Judge of all judges and … justice for Natalee Holloway will prevail.

      Good visual Carpe!

These Kalpuke’s have been watching GoonBoy & Father of Frankenstein weasel in & out of everything over the last 18 months. They feel/felt that some of that putrid aura of killing young Natalee would allow them to collect moneys, laugh and go untouched by it all.

    12. Richard on January 27th, 2007 4:19 pm

But what happens if they never show up in Los Angeles? Even if the Holloway Twittys win a case by default, will it bring them anything? Or does the non-appearance of a defendant allow the U.S. to pursue them in Aruba?

      I haven’t the shadow of a clue….

I’m wondering if somebody put them up to making such a suit, waving visions of riches before their eyes. Some attorney down there, who doesn’t stand to lose personally if his clients’ case collapse? Someone connected with the Aruban government? The van der Sloots?

Or is the whole place so predatory that it just seeks any opportunity it can get for unearned money?

Can it be a delaying tactic by someone in Aruba to keep the focus of the media on these scum, not on solving the case?

All sorts of ideas are swirling around….

    13. Richard on January 27th, 2007 4:29 pm

OK, I know this is going to sound crazy. I’m sure it is.

On the thread about the death of Jamie Skeeters, Maggie kindly posted a long excerpt clarifying the Dutch comment on the Skeeters tapes. The Dutch never said they were dishonestly tampered with; they were edited, which is necessary to play a short segment of a two-hour tape.

Maggie’s quote also shows that Dompig agreed with Skeeters, and said he was going to bring Deepak Kalpoe back in for some more questioning, based on the comments he heard.

Whether Dompig actually did that, who knows?

But anyway … is it possible to imagine that some factions of the Aruban police/government actually want a solution to the case? And that they might have covertly encouraged these imbeciles to sue Dr. Phil, hoping that they would destroy themselves? Maybe they worked on Mrs. Kalpoe, she of the “I lie, you lie, we all lie” morality?

Hard to imagine … yet certainly there must be some people in Aruba who want the truth to be known. Even if their motives are only selfish; i.e., if people at the top are thrown out, they might be eligible to take their places.

This seems preposterous … but it’s only an idea.

    14. arubaboy on January 27th, 2007 4:29 pm

Let us wait until the lawsuit Kalpoe vs Dr. Phil goes to court. The Dutch investigators said the tapes were tampered. The FBI was quiet all the time and now must tell the truth.
And if the tape in the Dr. Phil show turn out to be legitimate then I hope Dr. Phil will bring a counter suit against the Kalpoes although there is no money to get from them. But I have to admit if the tapes indeed were tampered then somebody must pay for that. And I think that will be Dr. Phil……….

    15. Richard on January 27th, 2007 4:31 pm

Meanwhile, let’s hope that Jossy Mansur, supposedly the most pro-Natalee media figure on Aruba and an avowed opponent of the government, will be reminding the Aruban people of how these punks are seeking fortunes while they, the working people, suffer the consequences of the tourism slowdown. Crioyo, please talk this up as well.

      Might get some people angry….

    16. Richard on January 27th, 2007 4:32 pm

Sorry, ArubaBoy, go back and read the quote that Maggie posted. The Dutch did not say the tapes were fraudulently tampered with; they said they were edited for length.

I hope you understand the difference.

    17. Molly on January 27th, 2007 4:34 pm

I wondered if I was hearing things when Greta quickly mentioned at the end of her show: We send our regards to the family of Jamie Skeeters, object of a lawsuit with D & S Kalpoe……No mention of how he died, nada. Then I couldn’t find anything on the FoxNews website. So Jamie Skeeters passed away? Was he ill? I had not figured on someone on this side of the ocean disappearing in any way. What does this mean to the lawsuit? I hope that the US still gets to squeeze the truth out of the Kalpoops.

The Kalpoops aren’t very smart. They have the Third World mentality that thinks that all Americans are rich. They must think that we all have a couple of mill in our bank account. We have a couple of jail cells, and no keys, that’s what we have. “Come on down!!” “You’re the next contestant for the pokey.” Kalpokey, that is. Dunkin’ pools, moving stars (in your eyes).

      Justice for Natalee. Kowlpoops stinks.

Maybe the whole thing was a bold move, on their part, to remove themselves from Aruba. It’s obvious that they don’t have the power that the Van der Sloots waller in, like pigs! Or, maybe, they know that, sooner or later, they will be the hogs that get slaughtered, the scape-goat, of this whole affair.

I think the pigs, being the Van der Sloots, have been feeding the Kalpoes everything, in site, to fatten them up for the slaughter. We already know about the coaching that went on and we also know their agenda:

They don’t want their little piggy to get baked.

I welcome the Kalpoes… and I welcome their lawsuit. They knew of the risk in filing the lawsuit. They probably knew, as well, that the Holloways-Twitty’s would pounce on them. But, how safe do you think they are in Aruba?

We don’t know the depth of their involvement in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. Besides, who knows? Maybe this will be the thing that finally breaks their silence. I think they are just dying to tell… and, I, for one, am going to listen.

They are all confident and they are backed up by a bunch of crooked corrupt cops and aruban officials who destroyed all evidence..

3 most important words to the VDS and Kalpoes, Me, Myself and I, they think they can just go in and wreck lives, it’s due them, everyone owes them. They are so blind and in love with themselves, they can’t even see all the nightmares they brought to a family searching for their lost daughter in the crucial hours. It’s always about them. Here Deepak is even commenting about Natalee getting in a car with 3 strange guys and calling her a slut and a racist. Calling the mother a drunk. Heck if someone kidnapped my daughter I don’t know how I would behave or handle it. Who believes Beth was partying and living it up in Aruba and celebrating? It’s always common to trash a victim after a crime when you are guilty of one.

Jamie Skeeters If, if you’re guilty she wants you hung, but if you’re not guilty she’s
not going to want you. She wants her baby, that’s all she wants. And you know that’s all she wants. I mean, you hear her every night on TV, but, I hear it from good source, that’s also on her case.

Deepak Kalpoe: And, so she’s drinking… party in casinos? Late in the night?

      Jamie Skeeters: I don’t know.

Deepak Kalpoe: Drinking cocktails on… on beaches?

Jamie Skeeters: Is that what she’s doing?

Deepak Kalpoe: Believe me, I have my sources.

Jamie Skeeters: Okay. Is she partying?

Deepak Kalpoe: And drunk in casinos. (unintelligible)

Jamie Skeeters: Okay. (laughs) Shit…Get ‘em on with video.

Deepak Kalpoe: And, um, still has the nerve to come tell us, you know. (I) mean, come
on, the Aruban people, we, our familes, to tell you, quite frankly, we gave enough for someone, to tell you the truth, dressed like a slut, talked like one, was a racist…

Jamie Skeeters: The mother, I mean the daughter?

      Deepak Kalpoe: The daughter.

      Dave’s Book… about Aruba ..page 198

Larry(Garrison) attempted to convince Deepak to tell his story and talk about what happpened to Natalee, but Deepak was only interested in talking about himself. At one point, Deepak wrote Larry an e-mail saying that is was his story , and nobody gave a damn about Natalee Holloway.

      Jamie Skeeters: Really?

    22. Maggie on January 27th, 2007 5:06 pm

Same interview another big fat lie,,from Deepak Who believes Greta offered him 4 and a half million dollars for an interview? She has denied it. In the same Skeeters interview tape Deepak tells how Joran bragged he can beat a polygraph. If they have him take one, he says he knows how to get around it.

Deepak Kalpoe: That’s what we told most people also. Because Greta also…
She… she was offering, you know, offering sums of money also, you know, for an
      exclusive (unintelligible)..

      Jamie Skeeters: How much?

Deepak Kalpoe: Uh… the numbers are pretty big.

Jamie Skeeters: Like what? I’m kinda curi..

Deepak Kalpoe: Four and a half million.

    23. arubaboy on January 27th, 2007 5:20 pm

I always wonder why Deepak sue Dr. Phil. And also who pays the lawyers? They are expensive folks. I can only imagine his lawyers are of the opinion he has a chance to win.

On the other hand if the tapes are legitimate and only edited for the Dr. Phil show then Deepak must be very stupid and his lawyers will have no money to collect from him.

I am very anxious to know the result of this case!

    24. mayan_moons on January 27th, 2007 5:29 pm

You bet someone has had influence has sugguested & succeeded convincing the Kalpoop’s that they too can jump on this gravey train & still be risk free, citing Jipshit & Paul as examples. The passage of time reinforces this thinking as we wind closer & closer to the two year mark of the night Natalee was stolen away. & abused by all the *HAPPY PEOPLE” of Aruba. Each new day reinforces that feeling of if they can’t get me now they can never get me, i’m free just like Jurine no matter what i do or say.

    25. Patti on January 27th, 2007 5:43 pm

The case against Skeeters has to do with defamation of character. In order to prove that the Kalpoes have been defamed, in my opinion, they have to prove their innocence in the disappearance of Natalee.

I still believe that they are using this lawsuit in order to clear their names and proove their innocence.

Another point, that I want to make is that editting can be used to make an interview more explosive than it really is. It is common practice to edit or cut tape to make your selected points stand out. Who’s to say that wasn’t done. It, certainly, is common practice.

We need to put credit where credit is due. The Kalpoes are not running away from us, they are running to us; and, probably, for good reason. Let’s pray that their lawsuit results in answers for the family of Natalee Holloway.

As far as the statements that were made by Kalpoe regarding his opinion of Natalee, her drinking, etc. There are alot of people, not just in Aruba, that have a poor interpretation of Amercian women. Not all of us are perfect. Unfortunately, the ones that are noticed, the most, are the ones that are flaunting their loose morals for local boys, while they are on vacation. Unfortunately, we all suffer the consequences of their actions; but to pretend like it doesn’t exist, is not realistic.

      Deepak, Satish: Come on down!

    30. Bodo on January 27th, 2007 6:34 pm

The persons who should be suing for defamation, in my opinion, is Mickey John and Abraham Jones. I think they have substantial grounds for a defamation lawsuit against the Kalpoe brothers. Although Joran and the Kalpoe brothers did not specifically accuse the guards, they lied about dropping Natalee off at the Holiday Inn and said that as they drove away she was approached by a black man wearing a security guard shirt. With reckless disregard for the truth and with knowledge that Mickey John and Abraham Jones was wrongfully jailed and falsely accused, Joran and the Kalpoe brothers allowed police interrogation of the guards to continue and allowed the innocent guards to remain jailed and falsely suspected of a crime.

Ohhhh, Oduber is the biggest pig of them all!

A quarter of a million, just for a good word? I highly doubt that was the extent of that little transaction. If you ask me, it was hush money.

Remember Oduber? The one that wished that the case of Natalee Holloway would just disappear? He couldn’t stand all the attention!

As people were arriving to search for the American girl that went missing on his island, Oduber was covering his tracks! He resisted the help that the F.B.I. had to offer. He didn’t want any foreigners digging on his island. He didn’t want any foreigners taking pictures. He didn’t want any foreigners any where near his island, especially if they were of the law enforcement type.

I would imagine that all this attention put an end to the island’s most lucrative business… drug manufacturing and trafficking. There is no doubt in my mind that the reason that he wanted all the Americans to leave was because it was interfering with many of the secret operations that we all know goes on in Aruba. Why else would a Prime Minister try to put the skids on, while the rest of the world were asking what happened to Natalee?

Oduber is nothing but a puppet for the real, big, down and dirty people that run the island. He has neither the guts nor the fortitude to stand up for what is right, even for his own people. Who are we to expect that he would treat us any better?

The last few months have been the most telling, when it comes to Mr. Prime Minister, Oduber… the threats against his own people with the use of his “militants” is the most telling of all! Since when does a small island that rely’s upon it’s “mother” nation for all its’ defense own and operate its’ own militants. Sounds too much like Noreiga, and we all know what he was into and the damaging effects that he left in Puerto Rico as a result.

In my opinion, Oduber is nothing more than a glorified drug lord that cares little about anyone else but himself. He has an image to care for. If you ask me a quarter of a million may have been tooooo little to pay for such a large task!

You watch, the truth be told! One day we will find out the truth about Oduber and his little clan of militants and it’s not going to be a pretty site for him, nor for the ones that cover for him.

The instructions: Don’t speak to aliens with the threat of treason. Does that not tell all!

      The judge said the following:

Dario had three witnesses, Venezuelan natives that were in the club and made a statement at a notary’s office. They claimed that minister Wever was in the club, drunk, had abused his power position, and had disturbed the public order. The judge agreed with the plaintiffs that the declarations do not say what happened exactly and also that it cannot be verified. “It is a you say, I say story”, said the judge. There is no evidence that what Diario wrote has really happened.”

      ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

was there a police report in Venezuela to back up these claims. Were there any specifics in the statements notarized? Did Dario Aruba go to the owners/proprietors of the club and ask them to verify this?

When accusing someone, there has to be at least a basic level of investigation done by the newspaper before making claims like that. At least that is what this judge ordered and it is on accordance with similar law suits in the Netherlands. If you fail to meet the minimum requirements of due diligence as required under dutch law, then you get slapped on the wrist by the judge.

But what is more telling is that Jossy Mansur didn’t come back to this story. He could have asked his witnesses to make more comprehensive statements (or he could have flown them in for the hearing to begin with). He could have also done the things he didn’t do before, prove that there indeed was an altercation in the strip club and that Booshi Wever was indeed there by interviewing the stripper, tracking down fellow Arubans who where there with him.

Remember, too, that according to one story some time ago the Aruban government did not renew the residency visas of the Kalpoe family. I forget when this story appeared, but I know I saw it.

So they for some time have been subject to a deportation notice.

Question: why haven’t they been deported yet? Do they have some hold on important people in Aruba or does Aruba want to keep them on ice?

Or do they have powerful allies who want to keep them on hand … for whatever “business arrangements” may exist?

Remember the short video that ran on Greta vS … Deepak Kalpoe was seen standing in front of C&Cs talking furtively with other kids, holding a paper bag. When he noticed that he was being filmed, he took off.

Three guesses as to what was in the paper bag; the first two don’t count.

Here’s a thought; if they show up in California, can they request the court to subpoena Joran vdS, or others, as witnesses? Suppose they say that the testimony of these people is needed?

Well, the Aruban OM (prosecution) failed to prove they had evidence that Paul van der Sloot broke the law and declared him no longer a suspect. That made him able to sue for monetary compensation to begin with.

It all depends on who is and who no longer is a suspect. Although the security guards may (or may not) be suspects in Natalee’s case is only part of the issue.

I do not know on what exact grounds they were arrested. Maybe they were blamed for theft too? Maybe they found stolen items at their houses? I don’t know and until they are either released as suspects or tried neither does anyone else.

    58. Richard on January 27th, 2007 10:00 pm

Patti’s invocation of Noriega prompted me to do a little research. Here are the first three paragraphs of a lawyer’s summing up in the case United States vs Noriega:

(They don’t know how to spell ‘Colombian,’ but otherwise it’s worth reading these staggering charges, and thinking what might be happening in Aruba. We KNOW that similar accusations have been made against former Haitian President Aristide.)

“On February 14, 1988, a federal grand jury sitting in Miami, Florida, returned a twelve-count indictment charging General Manuel Antonio Noriega with participating in an international conspiracy to import cocaine and materials used in producing cocaine into and out of the United States. Noriega is alleged to have exploited his official position as head of the intelligence branch of the Panamanian National Guard, and then as Commander-in-Chief of the Panamanian Defense Forces, to receive payoffs in return for assisting and protecting international drug traffickers, including various members of the Medellin Cartel, in conducting narcotics and money laundering operations in Panama.

“Specifically, the indictment charges that General Noriega protected cocaine shipments from Columbia through Panama to the United States; arranged for the transshipment and sale to the Medellin Cartel of ether and acetone, including such chemicals previously seized by the Panamanian Defense Forces; provided refuge and a base for continued operations for the members of the Medellin Cartel after the Columbian government’s crackdown on drug traffickers following the murder of the Columbian Minister of Justice, Rodrigo Lara-Bonilla; agreed to protect a cocaine laboratory in Darien Province, Panama; and assured the safe passage of millions of dollars of narcotic proceeds from the United States into Panamanian banks. Noriega also allegedly traveled to Havana, Cuba and met with Cuban president Fidel Castro, who, according to the indictment, mediated a dispute between Noriega and the Cartel caused by the Panamanian troops’ seizure of a drug laboratory that Noriega was paid to protect. All of these activities were allegedly undertaken for General Noriega’s own personal profit. . . .

“Because of the activities alleged, Defendants are charged with engaging in a pattern of racketeering activity . . . ; conspiracy to distribute and import cocaine into the United States, . . . Defendant Noriega is further charged with aiding and abetting the manufacture of cocaine destined for the United States, . . . ; and causing interstate travel and use of facilities in interstate commerce to promote an unlawful activity. . . .”

If Oduber is engaged in such activities, or allows some of his subordinates to be involved in them (and I have no evidence that such is the case), would the abduction and/or sale of an American girl matter one hoot to him?

I beg to differ, it wasn’t a good try because that would imply that you are right and I was wrong ;-)

It in fact was excellent, correct and completely successful.

So with that difference of opinion it comes down to who actually read it correctly. And I am sorry for you Patti, but that person is not you.

Under the heading of corruption in that document with regard to the “Dutch Carribean” (not Aruba alone) it says (and I quote):

Corruption. During 2005, the NA identified links from
prominent traffickers in the region to law enforcement
officials, which prompted additional investigations. The
NA has been quick to address these issues through criminal
      investigations, internal investigations, new hiring
practices, and continued monitoring of law enforcement
      officials that hold sensitive positions.

As one can clearly read from above statement, it is the NA who identified links between prominent traffickers in the region to law enforcement officials. It is them who took action. Now as we know, NA stands for Netherlands Antilles, not for Aruba.

Aruba and the Netherlands Antilles have completely separate law enforcement entities. Their own police and their own prosecution offices.

So as I correctly stated in my first reply, Aruba is not mentioned with regard to corruption, only corruption in the Netherlands Antilles is mentioned.

The point that I wanted to make is two-fold:

The first being that Chavez of Venezuela has invited all the islands of the Carribean to join him in an alliance, so to speak, to purchase oil from his country. Many of the islands in the Carribean are well aware of his true intentions which are to find additional transit zones for the shipment of drugs, mostly heroin and cocaine. All the islands of the Carribean are, well, aware of the effect such drug shipments have on their population. Puerto Rico is a daily reminder to us all, as it is still fighting against drug addiction on a grand scale. Any country that cares for its’ people would naturally say no to Chavez.

Whether Aruba has taken him up on their offer, is yet to be seen, however, I find it compelling that Venezuela uses its oil as a cover for the illegal transportation of drugs… and it is a known-fact that Aruba has its’ own oil refineries.

My second point, simply had to do with corruption. I don’t know for sure, but I assume that the corruption that is spoken of in the report must be wide-spread. Everyone knows that there are a few bad apples here and there in law enforcement, but according to the State Department report, it was overwhelming enough for the Netherlands to change the Antilles policies for hiring police officers and from the sounds of it, did an overhaul on it’s internal control policies.

What does this have to do with the disappearance of Natalee Holloway? Everything. In my opinion, the reason that Natalee wasn’t found, and the reason for the cover-up is because:

      1) Oduber didn’t want anyone looking too closely at his island, he had something to hide. That something, in my opinion, are his drug operations

      2) The Van der Sloots knew of the operations going on in Aruba and threatened to spill the beans

      and

      3) The loss of a child when weighed against the possibility of being indicted for numerous federal crimes, didn’t amount to much. So, Aruba, led by Oduber chose to go along with Paulus.

That is my own personal opinion… be as it may.

      Good Night!

Pigs will be swine, and 4 of them come to mind.

You know, talking about pigs. One time years ago a friend of mine and I were helping with a car wash fund raiser for the Boy Scout Troop we were both Assistant Scoutmasters of. The boys would ask for contributions and the going rate was about $10/car. This guy with a pig came by and he wanted to donate the pig. I was reluctant, electing instead to just let the guy drive off with the pig and pay nothing. My friend talked me into taking the pig, and we had visions of roasting the pig over the campfire at the next camp out.

Later that afternoon, we both got a call from the Scout Master, and he wanted us to come to the scout hut at 7:00PM. We thought that the Scout Committee was going to congratulate us for our wisdom; but when we got there, they said they didn’t want the pig; and they would rather have $10 dollars. So much for our wisdom, and to make matters worse they gave us the pig!

When will it dawn on people that this kind of decisions are made on the National level of each of the (at this moment in time) 3 separate countries in the Kingdom.

Patti, I posted the Noriega stuff simply because your initial reply was brief. I thought it was implying that you thought Noriega was dominant in Puerto Rico. The impact of his drug-dealing was of course felt there, on the U.S. mainland, and anywhere that has users and pushers.

Oddly enough, his time in prison is just about to end, and I gather he is going to return to Panama. Where, no doubt, he will be embraced by Chavez.

Why he didn’t get a minimum life sentence with no chance for release is beyond me … politics.

Rammstein keeps going on about the distinction between Aruba and the Netherlands Antilles. The islands Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao are often linked and called the “ABC islands.” So it’s not at all clear from the excerpt that Patti posted that Aruba isn’t referred to.

If we want to pursue the issue, we can write to the State Department and ask. Judging from what we’ve seen in the Natalee Holloway case, corruption is not only present in Aruba … it IS Aruba, or at least the government.

Anyone who digs up the article on the Rothschilds in Aruba will read that the Mafia was entrenched there for a long time, and had some potent ties with local families. Aruba is also known as the smugglers’ paradise … a fact that may be related to Natalee’s fate. We’ll see.

    80. Richard on January 28th, 2007 5:56 am

And for me, the most important thing about the Netherlands Antilles is that Beth originally called for a boycott of all of them. Only too glad to agree … Curacao is where Amy Bradley vanished. And Joel Gove has been missing on Saba since late December.

All the scumminess seems to occur on the Dutch-ruled islands. Why is that, Mr. Rammstein?

    81. Richard on January 28th, 2007 6:12 am

      Mr. Rammstein, two more points:

      1. I just checked the State Dep’t Web site; looks like they redesigned it. Anyway, I looked under “Countries”; you can do this yourself. I did not find a specific listing for Aruba.

So it seems to me that yes, they are indeed including Aruba in the Netherlands Antilles, just as Patti indicates.

      2. By your own logic, since the term “the Benelux countries” is commonly used, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg must all be one nation. They’re not. They’re three nations (Belgium, for some reason, despite its small size is perenially threatened with splitting up).

So just as that phrase is in common use, the phrase “Netherlands Antilles” is often used for the ABC islands … Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao, all afflicted with Dutch colonial rule or the remnants thereof.

Since the Netherlands has appointed itself caretaker for Aruba’s defense and foreign policy, you can’t say that Aruba is completely independent or that the Netherlands has no formal sway on the island … not to mention a hell of a lot of moral and economic power, should it choose to use it.

    82. Richard on January 28th, 2007 7:36 am

Meanwhile, more food for thought … though it would be premature to come to any decision on this case.

Police not discarding human trafficking in disappearance of ex-Miss Brazil
      Updated 1/27/2007

SAO PAULO, Brazil (AP) – Police said Saturday they weren’t discarding the possibility that human trafficking played a role in the disappearance of a former Miss Brazil who hasn’t contacted her family since September.
Taiza Thomsen, 24, represented Brazil at the 2003 Miss Universe pageant in Panama. The last time she spoke to her parents, she said she was in London.
“At this moment we can’t rule out anything, not even the possibility she was a victim of human trafficking,” police investigator Marcos David Salem told Brazilian TV.
Police began investigating the case Friday, after Thomsen’s family reported her missing the previous day. Police said they had no leads.
Thomsen’s family has said that in some of their conversations before she went missing, she left them with the feeling that she was being threatened. The family did not elaborate.
According to some of her friends, Thomsen had worked briefly in Belgium and there was a possibility she was still there, media reported.
A friend said Saturday that she talked to Thomsen over the phone about three months ago, Brazil’s RBS TV reported. The friend, who was not identified, said Thomsen was planning to marry a Polish man she met in England. The friend also said Thomsen was not talking to her parents because she fought with them, RBS said.
Following her time as Miss Brazil, Thomsen moved to Sao Paulo in 2005 from her hometown of Joinville, 250 miles south of Sao Paulo. She said at the time she would work as a model.
A journalism student with bright blue eyes and long dark hair, Thomsen inherited the title of Miss Brazil in 2002 when titleholder Joseane Oliveira acknowledged being married and was stripped of her crown.

Once more unto the breach, dear friends ….

Don’t suppose this is too good, but had to do something.

      The Hon. Jan Peter Balkenende
Prime Minister and Minister of General Affairs
      Ministry of General Affairs
      Binnenhof 20
      P.O. Box 20001
      2500 The Hague The Netherlands

      Sir:

Emboldened by your courteous reply of August 23 to my previous letters, I am again taking the liberty of writing in regard to the case of Natalee Holloway, missing in Aruba.
You are doubtless aware that Karin Janssen, formerly chief prosecutor for Aruba, has returned to the Netherlands. She claims that she wished to renew her contract, in large part to continue pursuing the Natalee Holloway case, but that this was not allowed.

Whatever the truth of her claim, her presence in the Netherlands provides an opportunity for you to hear directly about this matter from a responsible Aruban official. No doubt it is presumptuous for me to suggest that such an interview be held, if it has not been done already, but given the urgency of the matter at hand I hope that you will excuse my zeal.
Letting the public know that such an interview has been held could stimulate Aruban interest in the case and help dispel suspicions that interest in finding a solution is lacking.

The public might also appreciate your confronting Joran van der Sloot and demanding clarification of his statement that “someday, but not now” he would disclose the “truth” of what happened to Natalee Holloway. In my view, his intransigence could indicate his presence in a law-abiding country such as the Netherlands is not in the public interest.

Many Americans fail to understand why carrying out searches for Natalee Holloway has become the duty of her family and volunteers, not of Aruba. The Dutch navy has vessels stationed in the Caribbean to fight narcotics traffickers; is it not possible to deploy some of these, and the skills of their trained personnel, in a water search? Likewise, I am sure that the family know what land areas of Aruba have been searched; a joint effort by our two nations would demonstrate that while Aruba is indifferent, the Netherlands is not.

I remain grateful for your willingness to receive suggestions in our bilateral tragedy.

      Respectfully,

      (Richard)

The Aruban A.L.E. and the Island Mafia
should consolidate their offices in to
one building. The cops could operate
at of one side of it, and the mafia
      the other.

That could save on phone bills, electricity,
      and possibly even uniforms.

They could save SO MUCH and show it to good old “momsie”

Aruba and cut the island addicts a check.

    88. Carpe Noctem on January 28th, 2007 11:17 am

Since the Netherlands has appointed itself caretaker for Aruba’s defense and foreign policy, you can’t say that Aruba is completely independent or that the Netherlands has no formal sway on the island … not to mention a hell of a lot of moral and economic power, should it choose to use it.

Seems to me Aruba wants it both ways! They want to be
part of the NL when they think it benefits them… and they
wanna be all on their own when it doesn’t.

The fact is- On their own, they cannot do much of anything.

      …and it SHOWS.

So they should friggin SHUT IT UP until the time comes
along when they can PUT IT UP.

They’ve used the independent vs. dependent thing all throughout the Natalee Holloway Case as well, and it
has been a travesty, and made a complete shamble

In the lost connection part of this website you can post your particulars in order to find someone with whom you lost contact with (old friends that moved and did not leave forwarding address, old school friends, family members you have not spoken with in 25 years for example).

as normal with a process of countries becoming independent from their former colonial masters, there are agreements made in which the former colony (and now almost entirely independent nation) demands money from their former masters.

The agreement between the Netherlands in 1954 (and subsequently in 1986 and 2006) shows that. The Netherlands has pledged to give some money to it’s former colonies in order to promote their financial independence, promote law and order, good governance, education etc. etc. etc.

The Netherlands however is not a sugardaddy that will pay for Aruba’s deficit. As an independent country it has to make sure it’s financial issues are solved by them and them alone.

And being independent does not mean that a small itty pitty country like Aruba has it’s own forensic labs and expensive institutions like that. For that they hire the expertise of the NFI.

I don’t much like the Kalpoes, from the little I can gather about them during the case, which is admittedly not them at their best.

But they have the right to sue and if the facts back them up they’re entitled to damages.

At least they found a lawyer who could put together a lawsuit that will survive the first motion date.

First of all, I can’t imagine a guy saying, what kind of girl would get in a car with me, my brother and friend?! Wouldn’t you know the first time Natalee decides to “get” in a car with strangers, it’s those 3. She had been to other foreign countries before.

Second of all, 3 guys go out at 12:30 to pick up an intoxicated girl, for only one reason I can think of, Sex..and who’s going to believe they had no condoms and couldn’t get one after they picked her up. Absurd BS. That’s why they place Joran at the beach alone, no cameras, and no car so he can say he had no car to go get condoms in his new story. All those people on the beach he talks about that night, not one witness to see them at the beach. Fishermen said they never saw them.

Also in Deepak’s taping with Skeeters he’s saying not one hair or fingerprint duh, why else would you clean your car repeatedly after Natalee was in it. Not a trace of Natalee ever being in it. Someone went to a lot of trouble to erase any trace of Natalee for a reason..duh, they will see that Sh&T. Joran’s graphic statement about his sexual experience that night says it all. I don’t believe one thing they say about what Natalee did or said. They have class, I believe it’s called Low Class. Every parents nightmare that their daughter would meet up with. Too funny about someone defaming them. They did all that on their own. Maybe they should sue each other. After all Joran said he thinks Deepak raped, killed and buried her, even took the cops to the beach to show them where.

Sounds like the Netherlands should take this project and throw it in the Zuider Zee. Ah, but that would raise the water level and further imperil those Dutch dikes ….

      ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

No, it is you who don’t seem to get it and on top of that be very inconsistent to boot.

I consistently hear of all the lies the Aruban government has been telling the US public with regard to this case, yet when they say (completely beside the truth) that the Netherlands has control over this case then suddenly they are telling the truth. Who are you actually trying to kid here?

Nobody in the Netherlands would be dumb enough to believe that for even a second.

Here are the reasons why the Netherlands has no say over the Aruban case of Natalee Holloway (and I am not sure we have full control yet):

      1. the simple fact of life. Aruba is a very (too proud) country that doesn’t accept any interference in their autonomous business whatsoever (we even have to have formal negotiations to lend them dutch judges/detectives in the IRT squads and prosecutors)
      2. the political reality of life. Aruba has it’s own constitution and it’s own legal apparatus that is controlled by the ministry of justice of Aruba. The police and the prosecution fall under this ministry fully and completely with the Aruban minister of Justice having full and absolute control over his department
      3. the reality of the police. Each country has it’s own police force and it’s own police laws. Our Kingdom does not have a police force or it’s own police laws. Only the Netherlands, The Antilles and Aruba have them. The Netherlands police law only regulates the police inside the country of the Netherlands in Europe. It has no say or power over police forces in other parts of the Kingdom.
      4. the reality of the prosecutions office. Each country of the kingdom has it’s own prosecution service that is completely independent from another countries OM. Aruba has their own prosecution office. It’s leader (mrs. Croes) is the one who decide which staff is hired or fired. If the Netherlands actually had any say over this and wanted Karin Janssen to stay on she would still be there. But as the Arubans are the ones who are fully/100% in control of the public prosecutors office, it is their responsibilty.
      5. Unlike Aruba, the Netherlands has no problems admitting our own faults. Something that is easily proven by the fact that in my country mistakes and wrongdoings have consequences, both political and criminal (unlike Aruba)
      6. If we were in control all along, then why were only Aruban officers in charge of this investigation? The Netherlands has teams of highly trained officers in the region (with the IRT teams) who could and would have helped. Point is that without specific requests from the Aruban government and special permits, the dutch police has no rights on the island whatsoever. Not even the right to have guns.

And all I am trying to do is educate and correct mistakes that have taken foot in some peoples opinion, now I don’t care if these mistakes are the result of Aruban lies or simple misunderstanding. Fact is that I, as a dutch person who has more knowledge about how our country and system works, would be doing the quest for justice for Natalee a disservice if I held quiet when able to rectify and confront such mistakes and lies.

And no, a just task as looking for justice for Natalee and defending the truth is never a futile task IMHO. Neither is helping and informing other people who may not be in a position to read dutch news or watch dutch TV (with regard to this case that is).

And pale faces in Amsterdam? You do know that Amsterdam is a good way inland, right?

And we are pure enough, no need to worry there.

    111. Patti on January 28th, 2007 8:19 pm

      I feel cheated!

Don’t you wish Holland were the morally conscientious country that we leaned about in school? You know, that one that opened its’ gates to help with the refugees like Anne Frank?

      {{edit}}

Dutch investigators have been involved in the case of Natalee Holloway for a very long period of time. The Dutch have picked up files from Aruba, to review the case. The Queen made a special visit to speak with the investigators and the prosecutors in this case. Whether you want to believe it or not, The Netherlands are already reviewing this case. It’s a little too late for you to come along and tell us that it is not proper, what they are doing. It’s done. If you have problems with it, write some letters to your officials; do what you can to stop them, if you feel the need. But, please, spare us your comments!

Ivory Soap is supposed to be the purest soap around, or so I’m told … it floats!

So does something else, according to the proverbial saying.

But no need to elaborate. As the winds pick up in the North Sea, the dikes are leaking and the Dutch are running scared. Or maybe they’re just running….

“There’s nothing like a good Dutch dike.” So it’s said.

Our police has been asked to take over the case and they are investigating it, but at this stage it might already be too late. They should have been asked to come and help after 8 weeks or so when the trail was not cold. And being independent does not mean that a small itty pitty country like Aruba has it’s own forensic labs and expensive institutions like that. For that they hire the expertise of the NFI.

When the mattress was found in San Nicolaas, I believe it to be true that they had labeled it dog’s blood within HOURS.

No Dutch forensic teams on that one…

      So…

NOT HUMAN BLOOD? How’d they know that?

How can one explain that? If that is in fact what happened (less Dompig & a dead chicken)…

WTF? Sometimes we feel like a nut?

      Sometimes we don’t?

SAN NICOLAS, Aruba — Police searching for missing Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway found a blood-soaked mattress on a beach in eastern Aruba on Sunday afternoon.

The Dutch Caribbean island’s deputy police chief, Gerold Dompig, said police found the mattress in thick brush at Grapefield Beach, prompting authorities to focus their search for the 18-year-old honors student in that area. The mattress was sent to police headquarters in the capital for testing.

You see, that is the problem when discussing things like this. It is logical you have no idea how our system works so your errors in opinion are understandable but still errors none the less.

Constitution of Aruba (http://www.democraciareal.com/Reports/STAATSREGELING%20AB1985%20no%2026.pdf) sorry that it is in Dutch but I haven’t found it yet in English.

      Artikel VI.21
      1. Het Openbaar Ministerie bij het Gemeenschappelijk Hof van Justitie wordt uitgeoefend door of namens de procureur-generaal. 2. De procureur-generaal wordt door de koning, na overleg met de regering, benoemd en ontslagen.

The public prosecution at the Common Court of Justice will be represented by or in name of the prosecutor general

      Artikel VI.22

      1. When the position of prosecutor-general is open, the government asks the Common Court of Justice, including the prosecutor generals of Aruba and the Antilles, to propose the persons they want to put forward for new prosecutor general. By use of normal majority of votes, the Court prepares a list of candidates with on that list a maximum of three candidates.

      2. De regering stelt op haar beurt een aanbevelingslijst op en zendt deze aan de koning. Bij het opstellen van de aanbevelingslijst neemt de regering zoveel mogelijk de aanbevelingen van het Hof in acht.

      2. The government of Aruba itself makes a list of proposed candidates too and sends this to the King. When compiling their list they will use the list of recommended candidates by the Court and try to deviate from that list as little as possible.

      3. Indien de regering voornemens is af te wijken van de aanbeveling van het Hof wint daaromtrent, alvorens de lijst aan de koning te zenden, het gevoelen van het Hof in. Het gevoelen van het Hof alsmede de aanbeveling van het Hof worden bij de aan de koning te zenden aanbevelingslijst gevoegd. De regering motiveert waarom zij is afgeweken van de aanbeveling van het Hof.

      3. If the government of Aruba plans to deviate from the list the Common Court has prepared, it will seek the advise and the opinion of the court before they send the list to the King. The advise and the opinion of the Court will be added to the list prepared by the government and together with a document explaining the decision of the government of Aruba to deviate from the proposed list by the Court, will be send to the King.

      ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

In other words, the Court of Aruba and the Antilles make a list, this list they send to the Government of Aruba, they review the list to see if it is acceptable for them. If it is they will send it to the King, if not they will edit it and it will then be sent to the King (King = Kingdom Council).

The Kingdom Council will then (in 99.9% of the cases) approve the 1st mentioned candidate (the one the court and the Aruban government feel is best suited) and appoint them.

So yes, in name the Kingdom Council appoints and fires the prosecutor-general. In reality it has no voice in that decision whatsoever. It is the Aruban government and the Aruban/Antillean justices who decide that.

The same is largely also true for how head-prosecutors are appointed.

The difference with the prosecutors is that they leave the dutch public prosecution office, and for the duration of their stay on Aruba or the Antilles, they will enter the employment of the Aruban/Antillean prosecution offices.

And yes, because of the separation of power the politicians have little influence over running investigations. But that is only partly true for Aruban officials because all the institutions involved fall fully under Aruban law and Aruban governmental powers.
The Netherlands government has no say in the proceedings whatsoever. They have no power over the court (down to the Arubans and the Antilleans) except that they could potentially block new judges but that is not having power over. And the dutch government has absolutely no power about the Aruban prosecution office or the Aruban police force.

Only part true. A dutch forensic team from the NFI was sent to Aruba. They were involved in the house searches and thus they are the most likely candidates for having identified the blood on the mattress as non-human blood (even seen CSI test that in the field with a quite simple test).

The Aruban Prime Minister officially revealed that blood was found in Deepak’s vehicle prior to sending samples to the the laboratories in Holland and the United States. The FBI confirmed the Prime Minister’s words to Jug and Beth Twitty. Aruba must have a forensic lab. Where would the Prime Minister have obtained this information? Where would the FBI have obtained this information? It boggles my mind how this “blood” that was identified in Aruba turned out to be “cleaning fluid” when when tested in the the laboratories in Holland and the United States.

This was because I had taken 50 euro’s from my dad and also took money from my mother and I used my brothers mobile phone without asking for permission and after that I had broken the chip from his mobile phone. I also once fought with my brother in Miami but we are good friends now. My brother is fifteen (15) years old and his name is “Valentijn”. He is the one I would like to talk to.

Mr. Rammstein, sorry to hear about your cold.

I know that the time approaches for the morning check of the dikes, but hearken unto these words:

What is done in the world, even by governments, is often in contradiction to what the laws state.

If what Aruba says is not true, then it is the duty of the Dutch government to make known the truth. Aruba said the Dutch control the investigation. Aruba ASKED the Dutch to take charge of the investigation. Dutch police went to Aruba, picked up documents, and returned home. Since then, nothing.

Your tergiversations not only are not compelling, they are not even plausible. Perhaps you will write to your monarch and prime minister asking them to publicly expose the Aruban lie … IF it is a lie?

In the absence of such statements, we must assume that the Dutch have power to intervene. And if you say the Dutch have no power to influence what happens in Aruba, you are asking for a display of credulity such as nobody above the level of kindergarten can provide.

Beth Twitty went to the Netherlands and said she was received kindly. It seems that her last hope lies with your people. Don’t let her down, as Aruba has done since day one. In political parlance, knock some heads together.

How to start? Read my letter, posted somewhere above. The Dutch government has power over its citizens; should it choose not to use that power, let it abide by the consequences.

Tend to those dikes, now; they are seeping.

AMSTERDAM (Reuters) – Is The Joker, one of Batman’s fiercest enemies, a Dutch citizen?

A 35-year-old man from the western Dutch town of Hellevoetsluis convinced local authorities to issue him an identity card with a picture that shows him as The Joker, Dutch news agency ANP reported on Thursday.

The man also managed to apply for a driver’s license picturing him with the cartoon character’s trademark white skin and dark hat.

ANP said the man was working in the security sector and had wanted to show that current rules for identity papers were insufficient.

The Joker, played by Jack Nicholson in the movie version of Batman, is probably the best known enemy of the fictional superhero.

Queen Beatrix has enough power to live a regal life wihout toiling daily at a real job, so to speak. Who supports her lavish life?

She has enough power to command the respect and obedience of her loyal subjects. Queen Beatrix has lots of power and influence.

John and Jones probably owe their freedom to the persons that shot the Aru-bay video… so why haven’t they sued you ask????? That does seem to be a very interesting question?
#141 Do you think a DeMorini may have been an instrument of choice in setting up the frame. Do the Wever’s even possess such an instrument in the funeral home…Could this be indicative of Guido’s involvement and the charge of heavy battery…he or Yolanda helped set up the frame by altering Nat’s body to be displayed at the rocks… Both Holland and Aruba seem to have sufficient knowledge here but seem more interested in getting paid?????
…..So how does PVDS/Joran get paid? If Joran does indeed write a tell-all….Wow, I imagine the guy becomes an instant millionaire…So, how much does it cost for him to not write a book? How much has it cost so far for the pitiful performance we had to watch on Fox and the many other constructed lies.

    149. minnesota dad on January 29th, 2007 12:45 pm

      Rammstein,

A single phone call from the right person could be made to the right person in Aruba to get this thing wrapped up….Now!

Stop giving us legal mumbo jumbo. We have heard that from Aruba for two years (i.e. you don’t understand how our system works, the case is out of our hands as the Dutch have authority, etc. etc. etc.).

Here is how it works in the real world. Someone in the Netherlands has some serious dirt on some high powered politicians/justice folks in Aruba. A phone call is made and it goes like this:

“Prime Minister Odubar, you are now damaging the credibility of the kingdon with your antics. We can no longer accept this. You would not want (insert incriminating and embarrassing information that Dutch Intelligence has on Mr. Odubar) coming out in the next three weeks…would you?

It would be highly recommended that you make sure this is dealt with and the proper confessions and destroyed evidence reappear…no matter who goes down.”

This is how it works. Many of our Beltway Politicians here in the US have skeletons in their past that are held in case they are needed at a later date rather than exposed immediately (ever heard of October surprises!). We saw with Bacchus on this one how the game is played.

Politicians and attorneys act as if there is a true legitimacy to how things function in the US and other countries….and for 90% of the citizens this is a legitimate position. For the 10% that need favors/money (read attorneys/politicians/judges)…..the system is about as illegitimate as you can get with behind the scenes negotiating to meet the ends they desire. It is time for these behind the scenes workings to take place on the NH case and a phone call needs to be made.

It is time to cook Aruba. We are waiting Rammstein/Dutch…..md

Earlier, he said that she asked to go back to the hotel. Now, that’s something I can well believe. Especially because, in all likelihood, that’s where she thought she was going.

Until she began realizing otherwise, if she weren’t overly sedated. Is that when the three pimps used the cleaning fluid/chloroform on her, if that’s what happened?

Or did you force more pills down her throat?

Or did the three of you hold her down?

Any of these is possible … but don’t give us this crap about how you scum asked her ANYTHING.

I did not have sex with that girl?

I thought we could come up with a new board game.

Where in the hell is Anita’s camera

    156. Richard on January 29th, 2007 1:42 pm

Here’s an idea for you, Mr. Rammstein … do what some of us over here are trying to do, create a situation where our politicians are encouraged to speak out and demand justice for Natalee Holloway and her family … or cut off tourism and other financial assistance to Aruba.

Go try to persuade your fellow Dutchmen to demand this.

Then we’ll see what your politicians “can’t do”; I’m sure they’ll find a way to take action once their survival in office depends on it.

The governor of Arkansas has declared that he will seek the presidency. Wasn’t Arkansas one of the states that backed the original proposal to boycott Aruba? Maybe he can be persuaded that this idea still has “legs” ….

Hurry up, Mr. Rammstein, and don’t forget that we’re still waiting to read your letters to your monarch and prime minister. That would be a much greater step than lying to us about what the Dutch cannot do, and why.

    157. Richard on January 29th, 2007 2:13 pm

Carpe, old buddy (#151) … Well, I’m probably older than you are … anyway, I’m not yelling at you, believe me. But seeing that sanctimonious bastard talking about how considerate he was of Natalee made my blood pressure jump.

We’ve got to get some politicians going who will give Aruba the “or else” order.

Solve this case … “or else.”

      Or else what?

Or else … no more tourists.
      No more assistance.
      No more tolerating drug traffic.

      etc., etc., etc.

    158. Richard on January 29th, 2007 2:17 pm

Miss Underestimated (154) … a new board game?

      “Get out of jail free.”
      “Bar-hopping.”
      “Best places to sell drugs.”
“Now you see ‘em, now you don’t; Aruba’s guide to tourists”
(hope that doesn’t sound disrespectful to the HT family)
“How many politicians can you buy on Aruba?”

Those will do for starters, right?

    159. Meee on January 29th, 2007 2:27 pm

      As always Richard. Good job.

“how many politicians can you buy on aruba”? it isn’t how many, the question is how cheaply can you get them for.

One safe island, my a**…tourists getting robbed constantly, corrupt law enforcement (yes, they’ll take cash to look the other way), corrupt politicians (that one I can say that they are not alone in) and by all means driving around there is gambling with your life…they have more accidents than a Mad Max movie. and as for having a board game based on Aruba…are you kidding? More like a comic book…look at all the characters and all their evil powers. You have Sweaty Sloot…powers: sweat on your opponent and lighting running speed that would put Flash to shame. You have the Killpoes with their utility trash bags, Steve Croes..the man with no brain, skull so thick that would decimate any concrete wall…Rudy aka “the Leprechaun” with deadly lucky charms….Urine with teleportation powers, able to get from one destination to another in seconds….Anita…master of disguise, favorite disguise is woman with bad taste in clothes…..Steve Cohen, the invisible man….Julia R. aka “Leatherface” with bullet proof skin…..Guido, enough said….Karin J., Toxic Hair…one strand of that hair has more toxins than a ton of Chernobyl earth…Dennis Jacobs, The Thing, more lead in his ass than car battery factory….easily, these folks make The Legion of Doom look like boy scouts.

      More Joran Lies-

      06/14/2005 JORAN’S ALE STATEMENTS

. We had dry sex with each other. I was lying on the sand she she was sitting on me and pretended like we were having sex. I had told Natalee that I didn’t have any condoms on me.

      ****
Natalee then said to me that it was better if we had no sex with each other.

      2/2006 ABC PRIMETIME LIVE

Joran van der Sloot: As I remember it, she was laying on top of me kissing and we were touching each other. And I ended up – she put her hands in my pants, and I put my hands in her pants and – yeah, that’s as far as it went.

      Interviewer: No sex?

Joran van der Sloot: No sex.

      Interviewer: No intercourse.

Joran van der Sloot: No intercourse.

Interviewer: Why not, if that’s what you thought she wanted?

Joran van der Sloot: **** Well, I asked her if she wanted to have sex and she was fine with it. I didn’t have a condom with me, though in my wallet. And I – I won’t have sex with a girl without a condom. -J4N

Miss U (#160) … you couldn’t play a “Who’s the Liar?” game on Aruba. It would be far too complicated to keep straight who said which lie when … especially because they would then deny making the lie in the first place.

Everyone read the latest post about the drug trafficking in Aruba? Does anyone, except perhaps Mr. Rammstein, not believe that the Aruban government is corrupt and involved in drug smuggling up to its (fanny)?

That must be the hold that PvdS has on the others … that, and perhaps his ability to call on the forces of drug dealers. You know, the fellows that cut off arms, legs, heads, etc.

And remember … more often than not, drug traffickers are also human traffickers. Especially in Latin America, where trading in women is estimated to be a $16.4 billion business. That estimate is from an informed local.
