Terror Free Gas Coming Soon to a Pump Near You in Omaha, NE

Well hopefully. However, Omaha, NE is about to open a gas station made from “terror free” Terror_free_oiloil. Granted there is no guarantee that 100% of the oil may not come from the Middle East; however, the point is well made that ever effort will be done to attempt to accomplish their goal. What do you think of the idea?

The gas station is associated with the Terror-Free Oil Initiative. The group’s objective is to encourage Americans to buy gasoline that originated from countries that do not export or finance terrorism. A representative said that Omaha’s will be the first of several terror-free oil gas stations to open across the country.

“The terror-free oil initiative is dedicated to encouraging Americans to buy gasoline that originated from countries that do not export or finance terrorism,” according to the group’s Web site. (News Net5)

Got to the page and take the survey: Would you buy your gasoline from a station that receives its inventory from countries that don’t sponsor terrorism?

i hope this happens but i do not believe they can produce enough gas. one fill up from a hummer will probably wipe them out.

If everyone would get rid of huge gas guzzlers, and start driving a car that averaged 30mph, America would no longer have any need for oil from countries that sponsor terrorism. I wonder what effect that would have on our foreign policy, and our country as a whole.

We would only be sure to pay more and demand not be effected at all.

Geothermal, earths neuclear decay, making big yet early strides, with it will open up other packaged uses of the energy it derives…some of the higher techs we think of. Wind power progressing slower than we may have thought, but is progressing.

#1 … How is GWB different than any other President when it comes to Middle East oil?

Please explain to me what President since Nixon had an energy plan? What was Carter’s and Clinton’s?

      Oops, there was none.

Every administration has been derelict in devising a plan. The US should be drilling on their own land, devising better fuel efficient cars, alternative fuels, nuclear power, etc.

Not just talking about it … talk is cheap. Democrats are just as guilty as it would appear that they would rather have the issue, than solve the problem.

Fuel use is a matter of national security and “all” Americans should care.

      #6 you are correct.

I knew well an inventor in the 80′s, who worked on yet another kinetic energy, or it is how to tap into it and put the power in our transmission lines. Through his numerous contacts with the US Dept of Com a time for onsite presentation came at the U of Houston. Big head, over expectations, vissions of grandure for sure…gonna have to speek, gather info fast, do the math, practice, ne-e-erves. Reservations made for the on campus hotel long in advance, and check to make sure the reservations were good just prior. It was a big day for several inventors. But, there was a bigger game in town. Football. I forget who was playing, though football fans bought out the reservations right out from under at least two inventors of alternative energy related apps referred by the D of Com. The inventor of my knowledge just got a flight and went back home, todate the tap of energy gets mixed to none or poorer reviews. But I think it is a real shot.

When the combined interest of our finding alternative energies gets a decent proportional interest of the combined one United States football season, we will do at the least better at energy independence as Iceland.

      Tesla Roadster

      100% electric powered
Accelerates 0 to 60 mph in 4 seconds
      Top speed over 130 mph
      Electric regenerative engine braking
Cost to charge equivalent to 1 cent per mile
      250 mile range between charges
      Lithium-ion battery pack
Battery life in excess of 100,000 miles
      Full charge in 3.5 hours
Optional away from home mobile-charging kit

Manufacture of the parts and components of this car is contracted to companies around the world and shipped to the UK for assembly and the assembled car is then shipped to Tesla Motors in the United States. Under contract with Tesla Motors in California, Lotus Cars in the UK is assembling the Tesla Roadster for exclusive sale in the United States at a base price of $92,950 before options.

Tesla Motors has come a long way in development of a 100% battery electric vehicle since GM ended production of their EV1, GM citing lack of consumer interest in their car which cost $299 a month to lease, has a range of between 60 and 80 miles on a full charge and can take up to 15 hours to recharge.

But Tesla Motors owns no manufacturing or assembly plants. The company is headquartered in San Carlos, California and it’s only Customer Care Centers (dealers) are in California and the Chicago, New York City and Miami metropolitan areas. The company presides over a complicated, inefficient, decentralized process of production to bring this car to market.

But centralized mass production saves enormous costs and major automobile manufacturers could produce compact sedans and mini-SUVs with completive performance based on the same EV technology and bring them to market at a fraction of the cost of a $92,950 Tesla Roadster. But they won’t. The major automobile manufacturers that did make 100% battery electric vehicles marketed them on lease-only programs with a prohibition on end of lease purchase and then sabotaged BEV development and crushed the vehicles when leases expired. Only a small number of the vehicles remain on the road and those are the Toyota RAV4. Due to public protest, Toyota agreed to stop crushing their RAV4 and consented to selling them to the leaseholders when leases expired.

These vehicles require no service other than tires, brakes and minor lubrication, they rarely breakdown and they do not burn gasoline. Tesla Motors has gone a long way in development of 100% battery electric vehicle technology after the major automobile manufacturers stopped trying. That gives rise to the question of why did they stopped and why haven’t they resumed development of practical 100% battery electric vehicles in light of the technological achievement of Tesla Motors?

I’d be willing to pay extra for gas if I knew it was terror free.

IMHO eventually we will have to get off our oil dependence with alternative fuels but in the meantime it would be nice to have a terror free option.

Rally Against Islamofascism: Remembering Bloody Tuesday

Six years have passed since the worst terrorist attack on America. It seems that most Americans do not remember what happened on September 11, 2001. We are back to business as usual. While our military is fighting the War on Terror, American consumers are financing terrorism by buying Middle Eastern oil. While a Crucifix submerged in urine is considered to be a free artistic expression and received a government grant, flushing a Koran down the toilet is prosecuted as a hate crime. While moderate Muslim groups like American Islamic Forum for Democracy and Muslims Against Sharia are virtually unheard of, terrorist fronts like CAIR and MPAC receive multi-million dollar payments from Saudi Arabia and enjoy full recognition by our government officials.

      THIS IS YOUR COUNTRY TOO;
      HELP MAKE IT SAFER
