Kansas Man, Robert Richardson II, Sentenced to Prison in HIV Case
Robert Richardson II, an HIV positive man was sentenced to nearly 3 years in prison for knowingly exposing three woman to the virus without their knowledge. Sentenced for 3 years for what may become a death sentence for three unknowing victims. Was the sentence long enough?
Richardson was found guilty last month of four counts of HIV exposure involving three women, and he was found not guilty of exposing a fourth woman.
Jurors said they were appalled by how he deceived the women by telling them his health problems were from a heart condition. Richardson said he didn’t lie, and that he did have a “HAART” condition – short for Highly Active Anti-Retroviral Therapy, the name he used for his HIV-treatment drug regimen. (AP)

Gee how sweet of him to break his illness to these women so gently. They need to rename his condition to PDS — Potential Death Sentence. Three years is a slap on the wrist for taking these women’s futures away.
it’s a death sentence for the women, it should be a death sentence for him as soon as possible. tomorrow would be fine.
dennisintn
i vote for a death sentence also
HIV/AIDS is still a problem today despite huge medical advances, i am wondering if there would ever be a cure for this disease .
It is quite scary that there is still no cure for HIV/AIDS and the only way we can fight it is by prevention. How long would it take our scientists to develop a cure or vaccine for this disease?
