RSSOops, she did it again … Britney Spears Files for Divorce
File this one under … what took so long … It’s over for Britney Spears and Kevin Federline.
Breaking news from CNN … Oops, she did it again. If you had 2 years, one month and one day on the over/under in the Spears second marriage you lost. Brittany Spears has officially filed for divorce according to court documents. This time is Kevin Federine who bites the dust. After her first marriage that lasted a whopping 55 hours to Jason Alexander, this time Britney’s marriage lasted a little over 2 years and one month. This does bode well for potential husband #3.
TMZ.com reports that Spears filed legal papers Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Spears is asking for legal and physical custody of their two children, 1-year-old Sean Preston and 2-month-old Jayden James.
The date of separation was listed as Monday. (TMZ)
The reason for the divorce? Irreconcilable differences. One could argue those may have been the same reason why the two were married.

As they always say, follow the money. In this case its the prenup. This is too funny, personally I don’t blame Britney one bit. The reason for the day picked by Ms Spears reads more like a sports contract. Seems that her “slacker” beau will not be given an option for a third year with incentives. LOL.
Britney Spears didn’t pick Nov. 6 as the day to file for divorce from Kevin Federline by accident.
She filed two years and one month from the day of her marriage, on Oct. 6, 2004. Her prenup, according to legal theorists, evidently carried increases for Federline for every year of their marriage. And those deadlines, they say, likely had 30-day grace periods.
Hence, Nov. 6 would have been Britney’s last chance to get out of paying a third year of alimony settlement to a basically talentless slacker who was a drain on her finances. (Fox News)

is wrong with girls these days??? And to think that she
is an American idol? Poor little rich girl… maybe she
needs to visit with Madonna and figure out how to really
screw her life up.
Good news that she is leaving the Sperminator–who has fathered four kids before age 30 and is taking care of NONE of them.
I am not a Britney fan–but glad that she finally wised up.

Britney Spears is a neighbor in Louisiana. She
was a sweet lovable young lady. Fame and money
has certainly changed her. I hope she will grow
up ,or grow back, to what she was.

attracted to ALLLLL the wrong kinda guys. And she wants to
be seen too much… she needs to stay home, lay low, work
out, take care of the children, work in the studio and
THEN have a coming back party!!!!! Why does she like the
press so much? Is she dying for attention as the people in
her songs are?????
Lay low, girl, and maybe they’ll be able to salvage your
career. Don’t forget the one’s who made you!!!
Besides, it looks like her silicone is slipping and slipping
and slipping… she looks HORRIBLE!!!!!

This morning It made the headline of my local paper. This is Cowtown TX. We can’t get away from it.
My values are a bit different from most because I’m an old lady and not a teen adoring all these teenyboppers, but let me tell you, if some girl like Brit, Lindsay or Paris, who hop into bed with a different guy every other week, lived in my town, we’d call them sluts and poor (rich) white trash.

I’m not a Britney fan either, but I’m glad she has finally starting taking control of her life. All the interviews she gave denying there was trouble in paradise is not surprising and I certainly cannot blame her for wanting to keep her unhappy marriage private for as long as possible. I hope she has some true friends she can count on through this ordeal.

In my day that wouldn’t be considered a marriage…. just
a one night stand. Who WAS that anyway??? I thought that
she was in love with that Jason guy from Insink or whatever

would have made a cute, bobsy-type couple. What ever
happened to him? They could tour together and take the

Anyways…. what I was going to say, is that I think she
just needs to slow down for a while and take hold of her
carreer instead of letting it hold her. She needs to buy
a villa in Switzerland, or somewhere, and do like Diana
Ross did. Keep her private life private.

Patti, Believe it or not…she DID hang with Madonna for a while. That is how Britney got into that Kabala (sp.) religion for a while. She got with K’Fed during her stint with Kabala. Oh well, so much for Madonna’s influence. Didn’t shd marry Sean Penn? Not a far cry from Kevin.

Right..she doesn’t need anyone but her family (sans x-Fed) and children right now.
She been in the public eye most of her life and doesn’t seem to know who she really is. Took me until I was almost 40 to REALLY grow up. You know, stop the silly bull-crap mind games with everyone…whether starting them or playing them. Worrying over nothing. NOT worth it!
Of course, I used to think I was mature in my 20′s. What a joke!
