Even Radio Icon Don IMUS Tells Senator Kerry … “Please Stop It, Stop Talking”

John Kerry … Who is avoiding responsibility? Apologize and admit what you said was wrong, if you are man enough? You owe our military men and woman an apology. And after the first apology … you owe them another. Honestly, how difficult can it possibly be to admit you messed up and apologize to our military? What would make one not do such a thing?

“You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.” (John Kerry)

Radio personality Don IMUS tells John Kerry … “Please stop it … stop talking. Go home get on the bike, go wind surfing, anything. Stop it … you are going to ruin this.”

Working hard

Maybe John Kerry should just do what John Kerry does best … do his best imitation of Thurston Howell III of Gilligan’s Island fame.

WH III

Of course John Kerry cannot admit what he did was purposely said. First it was meant to be about GWB  and now it was a botched joke. Yeah sure thing Skippy. Kerry is nor just making a bad problem even worse … thanks for the October Surprise.

KERRY: “I am not going to let these guys distort some thing completely out of its context solely for the purpose of avoiding responsibility …”

Seems that some people in your own party want you to talke responsibilty, namely Harold Ford Jr.

“Whatever the intent, Senator Kerry was wrong to say what he said,” Rep. Ford said. “He needs to apologize to our troops.”

You have to realize that you have positively said something WRONG when loose cannon Don Imus the once known persona of the radio evagelist character Billy Joe Hargas who touted the merits of the “First Church of the Gooey Death and Discount House of Worship” tells you to shut-up.

      lmao at the Imus comment.

This reminds me of the bobble game thingy at chuckycheese where you gain points by using a lil hammer & land blows on
the bobble heads when they pop up.

Carpe Noctem that is funny! I needed a afternoon lift.
Every T.V. station I turn to has a pic of Kerry on it now I can picture this in my mind and laugh!!!

    8. Freebrid on November 1st, 2006 4:29 pm

I had to read his comments from the radio show and on there he is blaming someone else trying to pass the buck and change things around to get the heat off him! We are in Iraq to keep the terroist from being here! Kerry how big of a dumass are you!!!!

    9. Craig Mequon on November 1st, 2006 6:08 pm

If Kerry is so horrible, then don’t vote for him. Oh wait, he’s not up for election. Talk about weapons of mass distraction. Kerry botched a lame joke about Bush. It’s not like he did a comedy skit about not being able to find WMDs, like Bush did. Yeah, lying about a reason to go to war that’s killed 3000 Americans & 600,000 innocent Iraqi civilians is some hilarious stuff.

Thank God we did not get that dumb ass Kerry for our President. Hopefully this will help bury those left wing dems this eletion. fingers crossed :)

    12. Ramlady on November 1st, 2006 9:03 pm

#9; Craig: No, Kerry is not running for office this time, but he was his party’s candidate in 2004 and WAS a potential candidate for 2008 for the highest elected office in the land. And oh yes, you may need to catch up. Those figures you state about deaths of Iraqi civilians have been greatly revised by those keeping tabs (no, not the Bush administration). It was revealed that their previous numbers were merely ESTIMATES OF POTENTIAL DEATHS–not actual verifiable deaths.

    13. k on November 2nd, 2006 1:03 am

I think Kerry must have STUPID written across his forehead

    14. dennisintn on November 2nd, 2006 11:33 am

kerry is consistent in one respect. he looks like one end of the same animal it sounds like his speeches come from the other end of.

    15. Freebrid on November 2nd, 2006 12:24 pm

Craig if Kerry were President where do you think we would be? You are telling me that it is O.K. that they drove planes into our buildings and killed Americans!

    16. Craig Mequon on November 2nd, 2006 4:44 pm

Freebird – Are you serious? Iraq did not drive planes into our buildings! Al-Queda in Afghanistan did. We rightly went into Afghanistan, but Bush diverted our attention from that and went into Iraq. Bin Laden is still walking free. Bush said, “I’m not that concerned with him.” Meanwhile, Bush is now responsible for roughly the same amount of US deaths as Bid Laden is.

Ramlady – Maybe it’s far less than 600,000. However, even if it’s just a fraction of that, it’s still a tragic number. Would 100,000 innocent lives lost be acceptable?? Not in my world!

AUTHORIZATION FOR USE OF MILITARY FORCE AGAINST IRAQ RESOLUTION OF 2002

Craig, educate yourself and read this.

      http://frwebgate.access.gpo.gov/cgi-bin/getdoc.cgi?dbname=107_cong_public_laws&docid=f:publ243.107

BTW, this resolution passed the Senate with an overwhelming majority vote: 77-23. Sen John Kerry voted along with the other 76 Senators in favor of going to war w/ Iraq.

I’m sure you know that President Bush did not “intend” for thousands of military casualties and deaths in the war with Iraq. As Commander in Chief, he bears ultimate reponsibility to the nation, and to the families of those lost, for this suffering and sacrifice. Yet he continues to enjoy unprecedented support among our troops. And, in part, that is because President Bush, by action and words, demonstrates that he values and honors the service military men and women volunteer to provide.

      Unlike others.

I’m sure you know too that Usama bin Laden actually “INTENDED” to kill innocent American civilians on 9/11.

      .

    18. Ramlady on November 2nd, 2006 7:51 pm

#17; Thank you for that, hammer. My thoughts exactly.

#16; Craig. How many innocent AMERICAN lives lost would be acceptable in your world? We lost nearly 3,000 on 9/11, and don’t tell me Iraq had nothing to do with it. We now know Al Quada had training camps in Iraq. Anytime innocent lives are lost is a tragedy. The difference is, innocent lives are the ones they target, and they PUT innocent women and children in places they know are military targets and then cry and whine to the cameras that the evil Americans have killed innocent civilians.

    19. Lin on November 2nd, 2006 11:31 pm

Uhhhh…how many bloopers has Bush said and we all laugh and look the other way? Oh yeah, there’s a website entirely devoted to his stupidity. John Kerry’s a nice guy, not that great a speaker, but how many statesmen and presidents have we had that couldn’t give a speech very well??? Hopefully, they aren’t voted in on charisma…a nice thing, but not what we need. (Hmm Bush is the anti-charismatic) Does everyone just ned someone to bash? I saw the tape…it was typical of a guy who botched the punch-line…you never did that? Oh, come on.

    20. Ramlady on November 3rd, 2006 12:03 am

#19; Yeah, botched the punchline to a “joke” that nobody thought was funny. Whether his intent was to slam Bush or the troops, it wasn’t funny either way. Speaking of stupidity, maybe Kerry is the one whose intelligence should be questioned. Seems he wasn’t exactly a Rhodes scholar now was he?

    21. Brenda T. on November 3rd, 2006 2:04 pm

Ramlady…well…Kerry is apparently more intelligent than those who would support him…

      Brenda
