The National Sexual Predator Information Center will be having a fundraiser on Thursday, October 12, 2006. All are welcome to attend. The event will take place at the Ritz Charles in Overland Park, KS from 7:00 – 9:30 CT. Beth Twitty and Rick Segall of America’s Most Wanted will be speaking. Also in attendance will be Tim Miller of Texas EquuSearch.
Kevin Black will be providing the entertainment.
Our Oct. 12th Banquet features speakers Beth Holloway Twitty (mother of Natalee Holloway) and Rick Segall of America’s Most Wanted. Seat and table sponsorships available now at $125 per person or $1,250 per table. Corporate sponsorships available as well. For further information call 1-866-755-1133. Good luck and this is a good thing. Getting the word out and some attention and some funds. We need to keep our kids safe from the predators by longer sentences and then some serious monitoring after they can’t be kept behind walls any more. Our ” system ” in North America needs to be revamped. Too many of these guys are on the loose and how many times have we heard, ” fell thru the cracks ” ?
Joe Duncan / Groene family, John E. Couey / Lunsford family. Judges, prosecutors and our legal system are failing the children.
For some families it is too late. The children are gone.
I hope the best for the Twitty’s. Where is Natalee Aruba?

This woman has amazing courage and profound compassion to take her personal suffering and pain, and allow all of us to learn through the sufferings inflicted upon Natalee.
One thing I’ve learned is that Aruba cannot be trusted to protect any tourists, since it appears that sexual predators roam about freely on the island, and that predators are in fact rewarded for their assaults, murders and cover ups inflicted upon innocent young girls.
Aruba has become known as an island friendly to sexual predators and too dangerous for Americans to consider for travel. I hope many will benefit from the courageous heart of Beth Twitty!
I can see why Natalee was such a remarkable young lady! One has only to look at her mother, Beth to see where Natalee’s grace and beauty, and profound kindness and compassionate heart came from !!

Does anyone else beside me find it odd, if not repulsive, that “entertainment” seems to be a need at an event like this? Or am I being a bluenose?
I mean, given the subject matter, how on earth is it possible to be “entertained” there? Presumably one attends to learn, and to contribute in the fight against this horror.
But entertainment?
Maybe I’m in the wrong frame of mind….

Our entertainment will be performing a song written especially for the National Sexual Predator Information Center regarding sexual abuse. I may post lyrics later. He will end the evening with “God Bless the USA”. It will be very tasteful.
I am in Canada and we have our share of shameful
situation that, when looked at, after of course a child is harmed, everyone comments that ” why was this guy let go ? “. Don’t we have laws ? Yes we do have laws, but they seem to favor letting predators roam the country freely looking for the next target. I am a liberal thinking person but when the rights of these criminals becomes more important than the safety of children and everyone else in our society, then it is time to impose some strict mandatory sentencing laws. It’s time to question the candidates who want our votes and ask them what their position is on these serious issues and what their plan is, if we vote for them. I always vote, but I do not always vote for the same old tired politicians.

Enjoy your Dana Pretzel slander show. I think he could be putting some energy into his own community and striving for better relations with the natives than following rich bimbos from the south. No he and his ilk will continue to take inebriated natives to the outskirts of town in -35 degree weather and turn them out in just a sleeveless T shirt, finding them frozen to death in the morning.
