My name is Matthijs, I’m from Holland. I just saw the program and this site got mentioned. I hope our government will take over the investigation cause then there will be answers for the Holloway family.
22 Different statements I can’t believe what I’m hearing.
Well, this case was already known here in the netherlands but they all were like; “oh..Jorand did not do it” but tonight i have this feeling that they are all going to change their minds about Joran. You know, they do show this case on the news but they do not tell the whole story and tonight…watching her speak her feelings out the audience and everything she went thru, i think she has touched millions of hearts tonight. Beth don’t give up.

To be honest, I also thought that Joran had nothing to do with the case before this interview like other people here would probably think, but now I have to say my opninion has changed a lot. I’m really sure that the Dutch government can help Mrs. Holloway to find the answers that she’s looking for. And very strange that Joran just goes to school like nothing happened.

puzzled, angry and frustrated at what happened to Natalee
and the pain that her family has been put thru.
Beth is a very strong person. Natalee’s Dad Dave just happens to be someone that I look up to. He has shown so much character and soul throughout this whole ordeal.

There was already a lot off media attention about this case and joran s is still suspect number one.
I hope that the dutch gouverment will solve this case and bring the suspect to trial.

Strange that you can lie for 22 times, and won’t get arrested, Mrs Holloway also said on the Jensen show that she invited Joran to Jensen, of course he refused but if you got nothing to hide and you think you’re innocent then why he refuses?? I will read all the statements for sure, but it will take some time to have a good view on it to give a good opinion. I will post some more comments, but for now, good night. It’s good to see Mrs. Holloway on Dutch tv telling her story.

I think joran and his friends indeed gave natalee GHB or other drugs. The just wanted to have easy and free sex with her and then it got out of hand ………or they gave her to much drugs that coused her dead.
Anyway these guys were scared and had to make sure they got rid of al the evidence en we must say they succeeded because we still havent found wat were looking for……..

I’m so happy to hear that the hearts of those in the Netherlands have been touched by Beth’s story. It’s good to know that people in the Netherlands are now suspicious of Joran. This is a very good thing.

It is really good to read all these comments. It proves that we are all in the same race, the human race. We all realize the inhumanity of a selfish person that will deprive another of their life and liberty for their own self-gratification. Such things are intolerable in all walks of life.

Matthijs and Ton – it’s nice to see there are caring sympathic Dutch people. This was a brutal crime committed against an innocent young lady vacationing in Aruba and preyed by the beasts that roam the island under the protection of being nothing more than Dutch. Please keep the raping murdering VanDerSloots in your crosshairs. If you follow this blog closely, you’ll learn that Natalee wasn’t the only victim of these animals, but the one that died with a family that wasn’t accepting ‘just go away’ as the answer.

Now that you have seen Natalee’s mother on TV and have heard her story–i many of you now understand why there has been so much outrage about this case.
May there be justice for Natalee, a lovely young woman from a very nice family.
I pray that Beth Holloway continues to be the voice for Natalee holloway and justice be forthcoming. Aruba has done a pitifuland shameful job at the investigation into the disapearance and death of Natalee at the hands of the 3 main perpetrators Joran Vandersloot, Depack and Satish Kalpoe, as well as an array of other names who are not yet considered suspects but believed to have part in Natalee Holloways rape and disappearance. I also believe the suspects father Paulus Vandersloot an attorney who lost his judge in training staus after failing exams has had some involvement in this case. Aruba cleared him however as a suspect. I contuinue to pray that the issues of this case will not be swept under the rug as it has been attempted in Aruba. God Bless Natalee,s family and Beth HOlloway for never giving up. Justice for Natalee!

Impressed by the comments of the Dutch monkeys as to their change of heart or enlightenment of this case. I think this shows that the case HAS NOT received anywhere near the same amount of coverage in Holland as it has in the US. Strategically, this was the smart move. Expose the sexual predator Joran Van Der Sloot on his home turf for all to know what he is.
I’m looking forward to seeing a Dutch outcry. You have a suspected sexual predator who was last seen with a missing American female tourist and lied about it, along with implicating two innocent people to cover for himself.

I’m curious … did Aruba have any particular reputation in the Netherlands before this case arose? I can’t say that it did in the United States; if anyone thought of Aruba at all (that is not meant to be condescending), it was mostly seen simply as a pleasant vacation destination.
But now the boycott movement seems to be gaining speed, and the moral stench of Aruba will probably never be removed. You know that the Dutch government once intervened directly in Curacao, owing to the blatant corruption that was present, and simply took over the fiscal administration for a time.
(I hope that you in the Netherlands have heard of the case of Amy Bradley, who vanished in 1998 from a cruise ship that was docking in Curacao. There is good evidence that she is still alive in captivity, and some of us think the same may be true of Natalee Holloway.)
Anyway, I’d appreciate your telling us anything about this that you might know. It’s known that Aruba is a transit point for drugs heading to Europe.
I am pleased that people everywhere can recognize the injustice that was done to Natalee. Enough is enough. They need to put the lies to rest and uncover the truth.
I really wish I could watch the show. It is not available where I am, so am looking forward to the video when its up.

It doesn’t matter what nationality you are, or what age you are when it comes to certain reactions. The reactions of the primary suspects in this case are diametrically opposed to anything most would consider normal. If you just happen to be the last person seen with someone that goes missing within hours of your meeting, a normal gut reaction would be to help find the person in any way possible. An abnormal reaction would be to immediately begin to invent lies about the meeting, insist that your friends support your lies and to constantly degrade the victim with snide remarks.
There is also no need to adjust your answers with each question, because there is only one truth!

I am Duth and watched Jensen today. Ms Twitty mentioned this website and I just wanted to lend my support to the family and to all the people that have been supporting beth since this started. The Natalee Holloway case has not been a big story here. Maybe this will change it. And indeed it is time for the Aruban police to hand the case over completely to the Dutch, actually that has lang been overdue.I sincerely hope she finds the answers she so eagerly wants and desserves.

I found a chart today that converted shoe sizes to inches. A size 10 1/2 is = 10.75 Inch. A size 14 is = 11 1/2 inch. overall length. Is there a way to try and get an idea of Jorans shoe size from the Greta still you gave me.

To the Dutch that are coming to this site. It has been rumored that Dutch investigators will be taking over this case.
Did you know that Aruban judges refused the searching of Paulus (Joran’s father’s home)? Despite Joran and Paulus being jailed for their conduct?
Did you know that the US FBI was willing to help out, but Paulus had the courts rule they couldn’t?
Did you know that a bloody mattress was found during the search and Aruban Law Enforcement (ALE) stated it was “Dog’s blood”? Did you know that a furniture truck was delivering furniture to Paulus’ home weeks after this mattress was found?….hmmmmm….no search of the premises….new furniture…..can you say DNA scrubbing????
Did you know that Paulus had a Black Robed Friend from Curacao declare him “no longer a suspect” in the case? Can you say conflict of interest? Did you know that this black robed friend also gave Paulus $30,000 of Aruban taxpayer money for his “false arrest”?
Did you know there are pictures of Paulus hitting on Natalee in the casino hours before she was killed?
Did you know that ALE announced the body was found and that the killer had confessed? Did you know there is film of ALE recovering the body and covering up the crime scene (would be bad for tourism to have a senior justice official killing 18 year old American tourists)?
Your Dutch investigators are coming to Aruba (some say they have already arrived…but this case is so full of BS from Aruba that nothing can be trusted). Why haven’t your Dutch Investigators started the process of VOIDING all judgements made to distance Paulus Van Der Sloot from this case as they were made by a judge with OVERWHELMING conflict of interest (he stayed at Paulus’ home while clearing his buddy).
Your country’s integrity is now on the line. Will your representatives continue this farce. Or take the appropriate actions to put a lot of criminals behind bars? I don’t think they are up to it. Do you???

It meant alot for Beth to be received as she was, she & the family have been shown much (DIS)respect from Day 1
of Natalee being led away. Natalee & her family were victimized twice, once by Joran Van Der Sloot, Deepak & Satish Kalpoe & co. Victimized the second time by Aruban Official’s and Aruban police all the way up to the Judiciary. This is no *who done it* we know who led Natalee away, we know who lied & hired lawyers before it was made public that Natalee Holloway was missing. Natalee wasn’t the first victim of Joran Van Der Sloot and with the green light from Aruban Police & the Minister of Justice Rudy Croes i doubt she’ll be the last.
I just finished reading all the comments everybody has made this case has mesmerized me from the first I heard of it.We lost two beautiful young girls in our family to murder one 13 and one 18. Although it was not my immediate family it really hits home. We also have a 15 year old daughter and a 20 year old son.If somebody did something like what happened to Natalee to one of mine I think I could kill them with my bare hands. At any rate everyones touching comments bring tears to this old man’s eyes.

A couple of weeks a go i saw the show with dr phill, they did an investigation because there was a chance that natalee was alive but was held somewhere to work in de sexindustry, what happened with that investigation?
That show and there results made me believe that natalee is still alive somewhere.
I hope for all family and friends that they may see natalee again someday.
I think its very sad that joran didn t wanted to speak to beth when she was in holland, if he was innocent what did he had to lose?
Dear family from what i have seen and read is natalee a wonderfull person en needs to come home to her family, you all and natalee ofcourse will be in our prayers and we hope that the case will be turned over to the dutch policeforce.

My concerns about this intervieuw is the fact that ass well as you and also Robert, i dont like the person at all because he is doing everything is possible to get vieuwers with is low life humor and thinking he is the greatest person on th world, are convicting Joran and his friends already. I know there are 22 diffrent statements aldo a person is not innoncent till otherwise. In you,re opinion he already is guilty and also his 2 surinam friends.
From the beginning you have them in al the intervieuws taken down as the persons how are responsibly for the dissaperance from Nathalie and i think it is not a great way of doing this.
For the best i realy hope the dutch are willing to take there hands in the investigation so probberly and hopefully the answers will come very soon.
But keep in mind Beth, that IF the persons you are accusing already now, did not have to do anything with the dissaperance, be thwn a fare lady and come back to Holland and in a good TV show make youre excuses.

And i mean the morning after the missing. 7 AM. The people are afraid of the police and will not make a statement. This information may be crusial for the investication. SM: How much creedence can you put in the words of a professed liar? Honestly, what in the heck would JVDS know about Natalee Holloway or her life? As he admitted, he didn’t talk much with her. He barely knew her. When he was with her, she was barely coherant. What deep convewrsations could these two have had where JVDS somehow knows the personal thoughts of Natalee Holloway? That is actually such as crock when JVDS makes these comments.
JVDS hardly went to C&C’s 1/2 hr before closing and bought a girl a 151 rum shot to listen to her problems. JVDS through his own words has shown that his words cannot be trusted.

I know that the brothers said that they ony washed theire car on 29 may at 22:45 but this is not true. In the morning after the missing they vacuumed and washed their car properley.
i wonder if beth will speak with the author of the dutch book on this case. perhaps it won’t be joran’s book after all, but a valid look at what happened?
I really hope the Dutch come through with the investigation. There is such a conflict of interest with Paulus knowing the high friends and the legal system in Aruba.
Natalee’s Family are in our prayers.
Joran barred from the bars? Let’s hope he’s barred from the Netherlands (impossible, I know, as he has a Dutch passport) and is confined to Aruba. Let the islanders look at the reason their livelihood is down … and then demand some action from their government, if that’s the word.

I wonder if young Joran realizes that this will follow him around the rest of his life unless he starts telling the truth? I doubt it even fazes the boy. He seems to be a classic example of a sociopath that cares nothing for others, including his “friends” or his family.

By appearing in his show you will reach much more dutch people because robert jensen show most of the time not a serious show is .and there for much lesser viewers than peter r de vries.

SM: I think it is a matter that Robert Jensen put the offer out to discuss the case. It would appear that his show is not a serious “all News” show, but providing exposure the the Dutch audiance is always a good thing.
One never knows who will pick it up from there. One thing is for certain, many people in Holland may have a different look at events having seen and heard what Beth is really like and knowing that there is actual info out there they they can read.
Being informed is never a bad thing.

I have never understood the negativism toward Beth Holloway-Twitty. I do not know her complete background, but I do know that people that enter into certain professions do so in order to help others. Usually you will find something in their background that has driven them to follow certain endeavors. Mrs. Twitty has devoted her life to special needs children and gained extensive expertise with speech pathology. That alone indicates that she is a caring person committed to making positive changes in other’s lives.
This mythological internet driven attack on her character was born out of a few words spoken by a 17-year-old admitted liar that routinely drinks a case of beer without effect and chases it down with shots of 151 Rum. This is a boy that is repeatedly out gambling and drinking while his parents ignore his behavior or make excuses for him. It is well known this boy had serious problems with his temper and the alcohol only fueled his aggressive mean-spirited behavior.
Yet, there are those of you that choose to believe that Natalee’s mother was terrible in some way, because this troubled boy said Natalee called her “Hitler’s sister.” Not in a million years will I be convinced that a 19-year-old Alabama girl would use such a reference. It just isn’t in their vocabulary. However, such terms are very much in the vocabulary of Joran and others of Dutch origin.

You know, if only the aruban people can put their pride aside. Like Beth said, you know, arubans need to open their eyes, the dutch did it now. ALE and the arubans need to put pride aside and admit that what we did to this poor lady is SO WRONG!!

It doesn’t matter that it has happened before that a tourist goes missing for a couple of days and then comes back ok, that does not give you the right to think that this is the same case. You should take all reports seriously, that is your job!

Some times some people have to feel the pain in their pockets, before they will attempt to do the right thing. Aruba has almost managed to kill the American Golden Goose and will quickly become a liability for the Netherlands in lieu of being a cash cow.
Several months ago your own legal experts said the investigation of this case was abominable. Now the door has been opened for the Dutch to fully exploit their investigative expertise. Let’s hope that happens and is not just another kick in the teeth for Beth and Dave.
I will continue to be optimistic that answers can be found until I am proven wrong.

I would like to say that my wife traveled with Beth to the Netherlands/Holland to be on the Jensen show. Beth and my wife are friends and all of us went to Aruba many times in the summer of 2005. My wife said the Dutch people were very warm and nice to them. They were treated very good and truly loved the people and the country. The Jensen show was very professional and everyone truly wanted to hear Beth. Those people over there want to help us, hopefully their government can break the stalemate in Aruba. The big cover-up is in Aruba, hopefully someone down there will tell the Netherland detective team the truth and produce some evidence, if it all has not been destroyed. Really all you have to do is talk to Joran and his 2 friends. Their stories tell it all. Again I would like to thank all nice people in the Netherlands for caring about our loss. Hearing that there are 22 (!!!!) different statements gave me a cold chill… I’m also a mother (of a beautiful 5 year old girl) and I’m already scared for the day that she will go away for a (summer-)holiday…alone. Marja (#59), there are indeed some few of us who keep in mind that no crime scene has been found yet, that drug gangs seem to come and go to and from Aruba with impunity.
Another article this morning pointed out that the U.S. regards Venezuela as among the worst offenders in matters of human trafficking. And the State Department has Aruba on its Web site as one country where human trafficking has been known to occur.
Millions of people fall victim every year to human trafficking. Depending on the contacts that Joran and his gang of Pimps have (at least one of them is believed to be a major supplier of Ecstasy in Aruba, indicating ties with gangs abroad), I think this could well be the answer in Natalee’s case as well. I don’t say that it is … but I see nothing too unlikely.
And, of course, keep in mind the case of Amy Bradley. Her mother was also one of the guests on that Dr. Phil show. She told me about her meeting with Beth … “emotional” is not the word.

Yes, it is a very different story from what you may have been told. Remember the Chief of Police in Aruba accused Beth of doing all this to collect an insurance policy when they did not even have one on Natalee! There are central reporting data bases on all insurance in this country so is simple to check.
She has been accused of every awful thing under the sun and all she wants is to know what happened to her daughter.
They know but they will not tell her. I hope the Dutch can take over the investigation and give this mother some peace of mind and Justice for Natalee.
If these suspects are innocent, why lie? Why lie 22 different times? Why make Joran’s statements disappear for him as well if there is no corruption? Innocent people do not need to lie and there is only one version of the truth. I think the Dutch are practical people and wise enough to see right through this cloud Aruba has spun around this tragedy to deflect blame from their island.

Yes, Paulus is who the Dutch detectives should really look over. The crime against Natalee was terrible, but the cover up by Aruba law enforcement agents, the government of Aruba, and the Tourism Department is perhaps a greater crime. If people commit a crime and the very ones who should solve and punish them become a part of the cover-up, then you have a barbaric country. A country not good for tourists or citizens. There has always been too much certainty by the primary suspects that no body and no evidence would be found. That takes it several notches above simple luck.
I also have memories of Joran taking the police to show them where he thought Deepak might have buried the body. When he returned from the search, he pounded the hood of the car that had transported him to the beach. To me that indicated frustration that nothing was found and that he would be going back to jail after unsuccessfully trying to pin it on his associates.
No, I don’t think these three could have pulled off the perfect crime and managed to dispose of every microscopic particle of evidence. You must remember that we have been told absolutely nothing was found in Deepak’s car, even though all three of the suspects admit that Natalee was in that car for a good bit of time. No minute traces of fabric matching Natalee’s clothing. No long blonde strands of hair matching Natalee’s. No DNA from bodily fluids left behind by Natalee even with all the heavy petting described by the suspects. It is as if she did not exist and a vacuum cleaner and a bottle of Armorall does not make that happen. Professionals do with the help of legal experts connected to those investigating.
Under some circumstances the complete lack of evidence is evidence in and of its self. Goes back to that very simple equation we all built our algebraic knowledge upon, a+b=c. Two known facts will always produce an answer and it doesn’t matter in which order they come.

I agree with you Marian (post 122). Beth wants and needs to find her daughter. It broke my heart even more to read Dave’s book “Aruba” by Dave Holloway. This dad searched crack houses, garbage dumps, beaches, etc. for his daughter. I hope that the Dutch can find his book over there and read more details. You absolutely will not believe what this family has been through. I met Dave when he came to Houston and thought he was truly a wonderful person, father and gentleman. Keep praying for this family! I think we might have been taken down another primrose path. I’ve seen it happen too many times in the past to take these announcements very seriously. The only hope I have right now is that this Dutch team will take this case seriously, begin at the beginning and put some hard pressure on those involved.
I spoke to many Aruban schoolmates today and they were very happy with the Jensen show. I couldn’t believe it but they were very positive and they said that what they saw that night was BETH, her feelings, her as a human being, as mother who is grieving. They didn’t see a media whore, not hitler’s sister and she looked and spoke different then when you see her on US media. Now, I do not want diss US Media but let us be honest, they twisted alot of things in her story and it didn’t help her, even Dave agrees with that.
I want an aruban talkshow host to invite Beth and let her tell her story to the Aruban people, cuz right now the only way the Arubans heard of beth is thru the big news station like CNN,FOX and ABC and CBS and with all their “so-called”" experts, that didn’t help cuz they only cared about their ratings and not about Beth or Natalee.What Robert Jensen did was great. I saw the program of Jensen…twice…and I get a very bad feeling of this whole Holloway situation. I mean, you can get a clear picture in your mind what could have happened, but nothing is certain.
Good lord, what a brave lady she is, the mother of Natalee. In fact, you can create an opinion about her;
I have read people’s comment that she is totally overreacting the situation, but I can tell you only one thing. Losing a daughter is a terrible thing, it will destroy your whole life. And the worst of it all is that you as a mother survive this all. I mean, you have to go trough it, all the way. And that is the hardest part…
People can have a lot of meanings. But she is desperately searching her daughter! What would you do?

I want to tell you something which is a bit strange in one of the statements of Joran.
He told the police that he has to go to school the Day After. His mate (the one with the two dogs) had a day off, so he could searched for Joran’s shoes at the beach…
In another statement Joran told the police that this Day After he used MSN Messenger to have some communication with this same guy. Joran told the police that this guy often use MSN during worktime, and that this was probably the reason why they had some communication.
But in an earlier statement he told the police that this guy had a day off!
A weird thing, if you ask me…

5 yrs. old is not too young for you to not be worried now. while joran seems to concentrate his predator skills on teenage girls, many of his same type prefer little girls including 5 yr. olds. be very vigilant and may she have the long and glorious life she deserves.
every time somebody like joran gets away with his crimes, it gives others of his kind the courage to live out their own sick urges. this is a worldwide problem that is not being properly dealt with, and will only get worse until cracked down on by authorities.
