A couple of interesting points are brought to our attention from the 
questioning of this security guard witness. One, the amount of hours that he worked from 5/29 -5/30/05 at the Holiday Inn. Also, could someone explain how the security guard that was on duty in the time frame when Natalee Holloway went missing, when Joran Van der Sloot claimed they walked on the beach and when the three suspects originally lied and stated they dropped her off at the Holiday Inn was not questioned until July 8, 2005. Five weeks later? Where was the sense of urgency?
The other interesting fact is he claimed to have seen high school students swimming, but never saw any sign of Natalee Holloway or Joran Van der Sloot. From all the information compiled, there is not one person other than the three suspects that place them on the beach that night. Not one.
Joran Van der Sloot claimed in his interviews that they passed other people on the beach. With the publicity that this case has gained worldwide, not one person has contacted a media outlet, the police or the family and reported that they saw what could have been Natalee & Joran walking on the beach?
Also below, take a look at the pictures of the Holiday Inn pool, Iguana Bar and beach area. Make up for your own mind what one could have seen from a distance and with the lighting at the time that the security guard was on duty. Why did the ALE wait for 5 weeks again to question this witness?

they were in no hurry to put themselves out investigating because they thought beth and family would go home and leave them to close the case as a runaway, suicide and self burial, or godzilla attack. i’m sure julia and paulus are looking hard to find a cheap witness that will testify for jvds.

Warning, this will be boring to about 85% of all those who take the time to read it—so if you have read some of my ramblings and found them boring, don’t bother to read any further, just save yourself some time and skip on by.
What would you do if your daughter or son disappeared in Aruba? Boy, that is a hard one for me to answer. I’d know something was wrong if my son missed the airplane from someplace like Aruba, and I didn’t hear from him, cause he’s rock solid dependable. He was like a 30 year old when he was 4. From what I’ve heard of Natalee, she is much the same way.
With a daughter (which I don’t have), or with my wife (which I do have), I would be very, very worried. I’d be like Beth. I’d be on the first flight down there. I don’t know anyone with a personal aircraft, not one big enough to get me there. I’d have to go commercial. I’d cash a check , get some travelers checks, take my credit cards, and arrange for more money as needed.
Where would I go when I got there? I’d do like Dave and Beth and Jug all did. I’d go to the police station, with a picture in hand. I’d also do like Jug did, and I’d take my brother, and and an old friend (if you read my post about the perfect bodyguard–that’s my friend,lots of military experiences and tough as a boot. He’s been shot, he’s been stabbed, and had his nose broken a half dozen times, and you know what, none of those injuries even ruined his day.)
I don’t know what I would have said if ask “How much money do you have?” I’d have said for sure, ” What do you mean, at least I saying I would.” Really and truly, when you have your hat in your hand, it’s hard to say. I’d eat crow for sure. I’d even eat a skunk if it came to getting my wife or son back. So probable, I’d be like Dave.
If I were Dave or Jug and know now what I know now, I would have taken some of those little radio bugs, and planted them everywhere I went, in the police station, in the sloots, in Cn Cs. That way I could hear what was said after I was gone. Who, who, who, in their right mind would have ever imagined that there could be that much corruption and cover up. If the Dutch every start cleaning house, it will be like rats leaving a burning ship. The scramble will be unimaginable it will stretch from one end of the island to the other, from rich to poor, from powerful to subordinate.
I’d also take pictures of everything, thousands of pictures. I’d also hire a private detective, like Art Wood, and I wouldn’t trust anyone on the island, not completely anyway. All my strategies would be planned in a different place each day, away from any curious ears. All my notes, would stay with me. All my computer records would be coded, and sent home securely.
I’d start working on a weak link in the police department, a young policeman, an honest type individual, maybe a power-hungry type policeman. I’d call everyday and ask for that guy, and I’d grill him for information. I’d ask to ride along with him, and get him to work for me. I’d get all the dirt on the higher-ups in the police department. It might get me killed, but then again, I wouldn’t go anywhere with out my bodyguard friend, my human pit-bull so to speak. I’d acquire a firearm rather quickly. I would carry a tape recorder,a video camera and a digital camera.
I’m going to cut this short, cause I could go on and on. But, bottom line is this–I’d do almost every thing Beth, Dave, and Jug did. I don’t see how 3 people could have done anymore. Talk about going the extra mile, how could you ask for anything else. I think, no I know, my parents would not have gone to those extremes, and they love me very much.
Love I guess comes in degrees, and Natlee is loved so very much. Watch those tapes that Beth took of Natalee–the one where she is in the back seat of the car, tolerating her mom’s silliness, the tape where her little friend runs into the back of her at the football game, and you will understand. Natalee, there is a human being who can give complete and total forgiveness in the blink of an eye, what a rare, rare child, what a precious, precious life.

I saw Natalee, and Joran on the beach together that night. I did, I did, in my mind I did. But you know what? It didn’t last long or go anywhere, cause it was fiction. It’s fiction, it’s an illusion.
I saw Natalee fall that night, and the black security guard approach her. Dave, and Beth, and Jug saw also. That illusion didn’t last either, not in my mind, and not in Dave’s, or Beth’s, or Jug’s mind.
Maybe in a sick mind these illusions last. Maybe in a sick mind, they become real. Maybe they become truth–in a sick mind.
Waterboy: Your posts aren’t boring. Thanks for all of them. I don’t post often but felt I needed my voice heard today. Everyone reading, if you post a few lines we can keep this search for the truth of what happened to Natalee Ann Holloway alive. I was at our community high school today and found out that Dave’s book is being read. It’s the one I donated to the school’s library when it first came out. People are still talking about Natalee but the MSM hasn’t had anything new on the case for a while. Lets send out emails to Greta, etc. asking if they heard that Dutch investigators will be investigating the case. Maybe it will get a mention on air to rekindle interest in Natalee’s case.

Sorry, I missed your post. Okay, here goes. In my opinion (my son could tell you more, but he took one look and refuses to look again) . What you are seeing is the left ear, and behind the ear is the mastoid process (smaller than normal, and more rounded). What you see below the ear, which makes it look like another ear is the sterno-clido-mastoid (sp?) muscle, which is really standing out, like it is under great stress, or the neck has been broken. Someone that could tell you is an anatomy Ph.D. or emergency room Dr. I have a friend that has been both, but his son got killed in Iraq, so I don’t think he needs the graphics right now. If you know someone like that they can tell you for sure. I’m about 80% on this one.
Why after a year all of the 3 guys statements now have be release and the last year the D>A. has not said any thing Are the Dutch people investage started we have not heard nothing on this

Just wondering … is it possible that this guard, in his statements, is confused about the day in question? Could that be the reason for talking about the kids in the pool?
This might especially be the case if he’s habitually stoned (something I wouldn’t know, of course).
If they didn’t question him until five weeks after, and if he wasn’t all that aware of what was going on in the first case, it’s very possible that he might not have been sure what happened on what day.
I for one don’t believe that they ever went to the beach at all. Joran said that because it was a story that, on the surface, would make sense; the beach, any beach, would be a normal place for them to go. Little did he or his fellow plotters know that this case would generate the publicity that it has and would win for the Holloway Twittys a band of dedicated supporters.
Good statement, Waterboy. One other thing worth mentioning: the Holloway Twittys went to Aruba thinking that the police there were honest, dedicated, competent professionals, or so I would imagine. It took time for the reality to set in. We now know the reality, and I hope we will never forget it … or allow “business as usual” to resume.
If they waited 5 weeks to question him it is OBVIOUS they did NOT want to solve this case. Why would they want to now ???????????????

I don’t know about others, but I’m beginning to doubt that Joran was really even in jail. I think he came and went, and they paraded him around from time to time. Me? I can see him in a hotel somewhere being wined and dined. I feel sure that he is with his dad in the rock pictures, so what’s the deal with that? He is a privileged elite, or so is thought of as so by the movers and shakers on the island. He will not be so privileged in any other know location, so he better walk the straight and narrow. He’s a time bomb. He’s ticking. He’s set to go off at ten minutes till midnight—some night, some night soon.

Sorry, I got a little off the line of thought. I was talking about Joran, instead of the security guard. But, to your question. No, I don’t think Aruba will ever put Joran in jail, and the most he could get even if they prove murder is 15 years, not nearly enough.
I see Joran getting in some really bad trouble. Some of the things he has allegedly pulled in Aruba would put him in jail in the U.S.
Joran would no doubt be a leader in prison. He is big enough to force his will on those around him, and he has diabolical leadership qualities.
Will Joran end up in prison–you bet! There is absolutely no way he can escape it. Not for harming, raping, torturing Natalee, but something else. You can’t live your life with complete disregard for others and get by. Someday, daddy isn’t going to be around saying, ” the rules have changed, we are going to play the game my way.”
