RSSAn Aruban Controlled Air Space … That is a scary proposition.
Aruba controlling their own airspace? Not feasible … more like not a good idea. These people cant handle an investigation of a tourist that disappeared on their island … now they want to handle their air space and the safety of airplanes and passengers. That will be good for tourism.
Minister Briesen furthermore said that the radar is not working because when the Department of Civil Aviation requested funds to upgrade their personnel in order to operate the radar, the funds were not available. Even if the radar is made operational, the department does not have any qualified personnel to operate it.
Lack of qualified personnel … sounds like a reoccurring situation on Aruba, doesn’t it?

Aruba … “One Happy Island”… MEP Will Summon its Militants to Turn the Tide
These remarkable comments from the “tolerant” MEP party were posted last week. AM Digital has done an article as well and it deserves a second mention. The following comments are just unbelievable when one considered a ruling party is stating them against the opposition minority in a threat. Think the pressure is not getting to MEP on Aruba?
“If and when it comes to demonstrations and strikes, MEP will summon its militants to turn the tide and protect democracy and the constitutional state.”

Since when does the term “militants” and democracy go in the same sentence? Weakness? These comments may be confused with complete ignorance and fear.
MEP says that they are totally aware of AVP’s strategy and also which entrepreneurs are involved. “Do not confuse our kindness and toleration with weakness, because we warn the population that it will work out differently this time.”

3 Year Old Marcus Fiesel missing since last Tuesday
Three year old Marcus Fiesel has been missing since last Tuesday from the Cincinnati, OH area.  Authorities have stated, “This kid literally vanished – no evidence, no leads, nothing.”

11 Suspects Charged in English Airline Terror Plot
Police in the United Kingdom have charged eleven suspects in the airport terror plot Twenty-three individuals were arrested after the plans to blow up several trans-Atlantic flights were foiled on August 10, 2006.
