Gerold Dompig: “If the tapes are authentic, not altered the next step would be we call in Deepak once more for questioning”.
Greta Van Susteren October 24, 2005: Part One with Dompig
Gerold Dompig along with the Prosecutor and investigative team has seen the Jaime Skeeter’s Deepak tapes that were shown on the Dr. Phil Show. They are now on their way to Holland for authenticity. Dompig goes though point out a couple of discrepancies in the tapes and issues. Although, some of his points seem rather trivial as he seemed to have no problem with the audio portion of the tapes.
Dompig: Yes, we have and that is the first you could say stumbling block. Because the transcripts, especially the part where he supposedly admits to having sex or at least the group having sex with her is not exactly matching what we are hearing on the tapes. So, there’s some discrepancy there and that’s why we need technicians from Holland to look at it.
Dompig: Well, there’s a part where Mr. Skeeters suggests that…literally he says I’m sure that she had sex with you all. His response to that was (at least we can hear) is something like she did or she didn’t. So it’s not clear whether he denies it or agrees with that activity.
Dompig: No, not the audio. What is a bit disturbing though is during the conversation we only see a part of the back of the head of Deepak. So, it is not possible to see him really talking. You hear him talking and you see the back of his head. You could say that is not really something that helps us.
See the tape for yourselves to make your own judgement.
However, if these tapes are authenticated Deepak Kalpoe is going to have much explaining as Dompig and the prosecutors office both see discrepancies in what was said on the tapes and what was given to them in statements.
Dompig: Well, we don’t know yet. We have set a couple of steps. If the tapes are authentic, not altered the next step would be we call in Deepak once more for questioning.
Greta: What was the prosecutor’s reaction to the tapes as you watched her listen to them?
Dompig: Well, she was stunned. Because the little discrepancies we saw in the tapes at least suggest that what we have in the statements is probably not correct.

Greta: Have you had a chance sir to listen to these tapes created by someone for Dr. Phil’s Show?
Dompig: Yes we have listened to the tapes along with the prosecutor and the entire investigating team. I can only say that they are pretty interesting. That is why we sent them to Holland today to verify their authenticity.
Greta: OK, for background they are tapes of a conversation between Jamie Skeeters who was doing work for Dr. Phil and Deepak Kalpoe. Is that right sir?
Dompig: That is correct.
Greta: Have you had a chance to compare transcripts from those conversations from Jamie Skeeters to the actual tapes to make sure the transcripts are correct?
Dompig: Yes, we have and that is the first you could say stumbling block. Because the transcripts, especially the part where he supposedly admits to having sex or at least the group having sex with her is not exactly matching what we are hearing on the tapes. So, there’s some discrepancy there and that’s why we need technicians from Holland to look at it.

Please be patient for another 5 months or so, we mustn’t trample the rights of this fine young man.
Dont they have FEDEX in the netherlands? How long does it take to get a videotape and look at it? Even to analyze it… why is this taking so long to view and make a decision. I think they are all incompetent dolts.
