Police Say Taylor Marie Behl Possible Abducted

Following the discovery yesterday of Taylor Behl’s 1997 Ford Escort police seem to think that Taylor Behl may have possibly been abducted.

“The fact that [Behl is] 17 years old and there have been no traces of her, we don’t think someone of her age could pull something like this off so easily on her own,” Richmond police Chief Rodney D. Monroe said in a telephone interview. “That leads us to lean toward the idea that she might have met with foul play or was abducted.”

Until yesterday, police had said that although they were concerned for the teenager’s safety, they did not suspect foul play in Behl’s disappearance. Evidence suggested otherwise, they had said, and indicated that Behl had willingly driven from the campus, where she lived in a dorm.

Monroe said investigators put the sedan under surveillance for about 12 hours. When no one returned to claim it, he said, the vehicle was impounded and turned over to the FBI for processing. He said a team of officers canvassed the neighborhood Saturday evening, and several canines were dispatched to the area.

The dogs “hit on a few things,” Monroe said, although he declined to elaborate. Those leads were being followed yesterday, he said.

Gulfport Traffic – Another side effect of Hurricane Katriana

Traffic is always a headache, but when you have gone through a catastrophic hurricane and trying to get your life back together, the loss of an interstate can make like much more difficult.

Everyone trying to get through the Gulf Coast area are having to drive through the local roads, creating much more traffic and a great inconvenience.

Our paved paradise has turned into a parking lot.

Hurricane Katrina destroyed several major traffic corridors across Harrison, Jackson and Hancock counties. Dump the thousands of vehicles that normally travel those routes to the remaining arteries and what have you got?

Geraldo Rivera interviews Dave and Robin Holloway, and Beth Holloway Twitty

Last night Geraldo Rivera interviewed Beth Holloway Twitty, and then interviewed Dave and Robin Holloway. The interviews are instructive as they show that Beth and Dave, the divorced parents of Natalee Holloway, different stories. Beth is under the impression that the prosecutor is off the island and unavailable. Meanwhile, Dave is meeting with the prosecutor for 4 hours, and that they have new information and are working on the case.

This is disturbing on many levels, but that there are many stories coming off of Aruba is not surprising. This whole case has been hounded by false starts, innuendo, lies, and desception. It would be nice if for one day, we have just one story, consistancy in the presentation of the case, and the impression of a solid process being followed.

Following are the transcripts from last nights Big Show. Thanks to SunMoonStars for translating.

Dave and Robin Holloway Interviewed by Geraldo Rivera – September 17th, 2005

Geraldo: What do you think of the audio tape of Deepak?

Dave: It just confirms what we had felt all along, that something did happen and he confirmed it.
Geraldo:Then he went on to attack Natalee’s reputation and character I guess to support his justification for his actions
Dave: We felt all along something like that happened, he just confirmed it

Geraldo: Do you think he would make such a damning confession to a total stranger about the night Natalee disappeared?

Dave: He has talked before, apparently he is talking again, so that wouldn’t surprise me at all

Geraldo: Do you think that the absence of the intense media attention has caused the media to back off?

Dave: In fact, I met with the prosecutor yesterday for about four hours. We discussed the process of the case and where we were going. And you know, kind of a plan of action. I met with the police today for about four hours and they are just as hungry to resolve this case as we are. They are determined to continue investigating and look at every lead and tip that may come about. In fact, we had received some leads at our helpfindnatalee@comcast.net. During our time without power, we received a lot of tips and leads and I was able to share them with the police today.

Geraldo: Anything new that you can share with us any new or promising tip?

Dave: Well, that is one of the promises that I made the prosecutor was that we would not divulge any information that may damage the case. I made that promise, and I have to stick to it.

Geraldo: Any results on the Dna results?

Dave: I am not sure any dna was taken. It was taken, but it was not allowed

Actually Aruba Truth Gets Its Wrong, Part 1

A website dedicated to providing the truth of what is or is not being accomplished in Aruba called ArubaTruth.com has decided to inform us as to the truth of the Dr. Phil interview. With all that has gone on in the last month of the Kalpoe brothers being rearrested then released, Joran Van der Sloot being released and then allowed to fly off to The Netherlands and all restrictions against the suspects lifted by a Judge during the last set of appeals; ArubaTruth has decided to inform us on the truth of a syndicated American Talk show, The Dr Phil Show that did a segment on missing teen Natalee Holloway? Folks, where were the posts explaining how on earth these three suspects were allowed to walk out of prison with no restrictions? Allowed to walk among the Aruban people knowing the evidence that exists even if many wish to discount it? ArubaTruth.com stated the following:

His entire program was designed to prove that Aruba was responsible for the inability of the office of the prosecution to charge the three suspects with either kidnapping, rape or murder. No information was allowed in the program that would have refuted any of the charges by Beth Holloway Twitty or the other guests.
