As a dad with a 17yr old daughter, this is the worst posible outcome and news. I have been watching intently and praying daily for Natalees safe return. I wish to express my families condolences to Natalees family.
My heart is heavy with the sadness in the knowledge that such a shining light has been dimmed by the selfishness of small men. My prayers to the Holloway family.
How did she die??? Are there any pictures of the suspects? This is so terrible.

Thank you for providing all of us an opportunity to express our deep sorrow and condolences to the Holloway family.
Natalee is such a bright and beautiful woman.
I think that all of us “Father of Daughters”, such as Another Father and myself, feel that our love for our daughters should be able to protect them and keep them safe forever.
I have to say that it’s all quiet here, except that they’re heading to court.
I have enormous respect for news gathered by blogs…many times their reporting is far more reliable than the mainstream media. HOWEVER, I hope this website and others reporting Natalee’s death are using more than one source. So many family and friends are reading here we must respect their right to have truthful, well-sourced and factual news regarding her death.
Arubagirl, are they saying anything there about it? I can’t imagine how horrible all of this is for her family and friends since there are so many conflicting stories….
Dear Red and Tom, thanks for keeping this investigation current. Once again, news blogs are here to stay. To Natalee’s family and friends, my heart and prayers go out to you during this difficult time.

I’m very sorry for everyone involved. Aruba didn’t deserve this. The Twitty’s and Holloways didn’t deserve it, and mostly poor Natalee didn’t.
I wouldn’t hesitate to visit Aruba, the people there by and large have proven to have big hearts. It’s just a horrible situation, that I guess you cannot grasp if you aren’t a parent.

the press seems to be a couple of steps ahead of the police. after these men are in court there will be a press conference and then unfortunately we’ll have confirmation IMO. Red and Tom, i second the thoughts of vorprosecutor.
To Natalee’s family and friends my sincerest condolences. Indeed this is every parent’s nightmare.
THey aren’t saying anything about recovering body/confession/Natalee being dead (confirmed by officials). The reporters are saying that by their own investigation, they have concluded that she’s dead (rolls eyes), but no confirmation.
Right now all they’re talking about is the scheduled court appearance and an accident behind the lighthouse (unrelated to the case).

To Red & Tom – thanks for the reports. To The Holloways – I am so sorry for your lose. I pray that you have the strength to go on and put this horrible tragedy behind you. You have proven a certain degree of strength already just by telling everybody, “I’m not leaving Aruba without Natalee.” I pray that on her last moments she came to know Jesus if she didn’t already know him.
I have been hearing a bad accident happened so who will be held responsible for the accident. More BS by the liers ,until body is recovered and the criminals charged . This makes me so pissed I want to go down there and kick their asses myself.
Shame on Deputy. You are exactly the type of person that we need to protect OUR children from; cruel, empty-hearted, and verbally abusive. People like you give our REAL policemen and emergency persons a bad name. No wonder you are a FORMER Sheriff’s Deputy; thank God you were fired. People take risks and make mistakes every day; it is not your place to judge or condemn them for anything they choose to do with their own lives.

I said earlier that maybe they were at the top of the lighthouse and she fell and the three guys were like “Oh, crap..what do we do..?” and they ended up hiding her body for fear of getting in big trouble. arubagirl says that it’s locked though and you either have to break in or have a key. If a bad accident did happen though, maybe that was it.
I am not willing to believe liers!
I am very saddened by the outcome of this story… I lost my sister to a triple-murder robbery in South Florida in 1994 and can speak from personal experience: The pain and suffering the family of Natalee Holloway will experience from the moment their worst fears are confirmed will last… a lifetime. The entire world will be forever changed in their eyes and there will never really be any closure. I wish them God’s grace and healing through this incredibly difficult and crippling period. Time will not heal all wounds but in time, they’ll remember how lucky they were to have Natalee in their lives even if it lasted only 18 years.
