WMD Intel Not ‘Dead Wrong’

James S. Robbins of the National Review Online writes a compelling article on appearances can be deceiving. Sometimes the obvious argument doesn’t make sense.

The deception campaign was too systematic, too thorough, in ways that went well beyond what would be necessary simply to generate suspicion. This activity continued during and after the war when it would make no difference.

The floor tiles were missing, the walls cleaned, the plumbing fixtures gone, the pipes under the floors ripped out. This was not the result of looting — the apartment had been sanitized, disinfected. How many such sites could there have been in Iraq? Were they all found and checked?

Not to mention allegations that critical nuclear and chemical program components were taken to Syria, Iran, or Russia.

John Edwards, Will Work for Media Attention

“John Edwards says politics have taken a back seat since last year, after a series of setbacks and changes set his life on a dramatically different course”.

Former Senator Edwards seemed to take his Senate responsibilities to the people of NC a back seat as well for 6 years. Does any common sense thinking person actually think that Edwards actually had a chance of winning the Democratic nomination or that he would serve as some catalyst to help John Kerry win the Presidency?

How? Edward’s couldn’t win re-election for his Senate seat in NC, how was he going to be some effective Son of the South to a Blue blood Northeast Liberal like Kerry? Edwards at best juvenile behavior during the Vice President debates should have scared the living hell out of people, not to mention his failed interviewed with Tim Russert on Meet The Press that showed Edwards was a political novice at best. And yet another interview on Meet The Press. Take a look at the live blogging that was going on during the interview. Interesting that the Democratic answer to winning politics is appoint any Southern Democrat for office and somehow they will win because they are Southern. No wonder this Party does not comprehend Southern Politics these days.

Edwards should just get comfortable in his private like because the next time he ever gets the notion of running, this will be the first ad on TV.

Ward Churchill Is Teaching College Students. Maybe Even Your Children One Day

There are some things and people in life that are just wrong. Ward Churchill is one of these examples and the fact that he is paid to influence college minds is chilling.

This individual is what the University of Colorado is dragging their heels on as to whether keep or let go? Let alone the many alleged plagiarism scandals and other scandals we previously posted. I have always thought it be important to spend tuition money so my child can get an education from a person who hangs out at such events where they play “Pin the Molotov on the Cop Car.” Funny, I must have missed that game in my college, informative years. That’s right Americans are Nazi’s.

I want you folks to take a good listen and watch the video at what teaches your children at the University of Colorado for Undergraduate tuition per semester for full-time students in the College of Arts and Sciences for 2004-05 is $1,740 (resident) and $10,296 (non-resident). This is a man who had no problems becoming a tenured professor at a State College that is funded by whom?

Of course freedom of speech is sacred in the USA; however, there is a limit to the poison and nonfactual misinformation one is allowed to spread. Try yelling fire or bomb in a movie theater or airport and see how far your First Amendment right take you. Take another look at what passes for free speech and influences young minds.

Take a good look and listen and then remember this the next time those of you in Red States think that the Democrat is an OK choice or he/she is not extreme. Ward Churchill and the people at this event sure as hell do not vote Republican. Ultimately when you pull the lever for the Democrat, you are supporting Ward Churchill and the Anarchist’s who attended this event.

Elections Do Matter.
