South Carolina Poll: Donald Trump 32%, Ted Cruz 26%, Marco Rubio 20%, Jeb Bush 10%

SOUTH CAROLINA … DO YOU KNOW WHO THE REAL CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN IS? HINT, IT DOESN’T RHYME WITH DUMP.

According the the Weekly Standard, there is a new poll out ahead of the South Carolina primaries in SC and is looking like the following. Could it be possible, is Cruz actually withing striking distance of The Donald? However, the RCP average polling has Trump way out ahead. Will the good people of South Carolina actually wake up and take a good look at the past actions and determine who the real Conservative Republican is and who just talks a good game?

Donald Trump 32%,
Ted Cruz 26%,
Marco Rubio 20%,
Jeb Bush 10%

Rush Limbaugh opined on his radio show:

Now, Bill Kristol says: “I’ve just heard from a political operative whom I’ve known a long time and whose integrity I trust. This person is working with an organization — not one of the campaigns — that was in the field (using a very reputable pollster) Wednesday night in South Carolina.”  And that’s what these numbers are.  And Bill Kristol says: “Take it with the usual grains of salt, but I do trust these were the actual results of an honest and competent pollster doing his best to get an accurate read on the situation.”

So it’s unidentified.  We don’t know who the pollster is. We don’t know anything about the poll. We don’t know numbers. We don’t know breakdowns. We don’t have any cross tabs. We have nothing other than these numbers, and here they go.  The Bill Kristol pollster: Trump 32, South Carolina, Ted Cruz 26, Marco Rubio 20, Jeb Bush 10, Ben Carson 7, and John Kasich 2.  Now, the order lines up with the Real Clear Politics average.

But let’s do a numbers comparison.  In the Bill Kristol “we don’t know who it is” poll, Trump’s at 32, Real Clear Politics 36.  Again, this is for South Carolina.  In the Bill Kristol “we don’t know who it is” poll, Ted Cruz 26, Real Clear Politics average 20.  The Bill Kristol “we don’t know who it is” poll, 20 for Rubio. And in the Real Clear Politics poll Rubio gets 12.7%.  And both polls put Jeb Bush at 10.  The Bill Kristol “we don’t know who it is” South Carolina poll and the Real Clear Politics average. So the order lines up, the numbers are fairly close, but there is some significant difference.

7News/UMass Lowell New Hampshire Tracking Poll Shows Trump Ahead for GOP and Sanders for Democrats

QUESTIONS LEADING INTO NEW HAMPSHIRE PRIMARY … WILL HILLARY FEEL THE “BERN” AND WILL TRUMP REALLY WILL BY SUCH A WIDE MARGIN?

According to the 7 News/UMass Lowell NH tracking poll, Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders have bog leads heading into next Tuesday’s, February 9, 2016 New Hampshire Presidential primary. Self proclaimed socialist Bernie Sanders is leading Hillary Clinton by double digits, 55% to 41%. The question becomes, will Sanders actually destroy the establishment presumptive Democrat nominee Hillary be such a wide margin Tuesday night? Will a socialist hand Hillary Clinton her lunch? According to the RCP average polling, the above tracking poll is pretty much in line. It would appear that the 74 year old socialist is poised to win a 14 to 15 percent victory over the Clinton machine in New Hampshire.

Our tracking poll shows both races settling down. Bernie Sanders is now beating Hillary Clinton 55 percent to 41 percent, his support holding steady. Clinton gained a point overnight, edging slightly closer. The tracking poll shows Clinton is still gaining on Sanders, but the pace of her rise has slowed and Sanders leveled off after three days of big drops.

“There’s a big gender gap in the Democratic race,” said Dr. Joshua Dyck, UMass Lowell pollster. “Sanders leads by more than 30 percent among men, but just 2% among women. A big change from earlier this week.”

As for the Republican party, Trump appears to have a commanding lead at 35% following by a pack of 4 individuals from 14% to 10% that include, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Jeb Bush and John Kasich. However, one has to wonder if Rubio’s poor performance in last nights debate and strong performances by governors Christie and Bush might cause some last minute movement by the electorate? It’s hard to believe that Bush and Kasich have actually gained points but NH has become increasingly liberal these days. The real question heading into the NH Primaries is, will Trump over or under perform his polling, who will come in second and third and will Rubio’s terrible debate performance cost him and stop any momentum he might have had?

Among the Republicans, Donald Trump stays number one, with 35 percent; and picked up a point. Marco Rubio, at 14 percent, lost a point, but keeps second place. Ted Cruz, at 13 percent, also lost a point, but did not lose third place. The biggest GOP changes: John Kasich and Jeb Bush. Both have broken into double digits after both picked up two points overnight.

There were also some changes in the bottom tier. Chris Christie is at four percent, after losing a point since Friday.  Ben Carson, three percent after losing one. And no change for Carly Fiorina, who also gets three percent.

NFL: Rams Headed Back to Los Angeles, California … Chargers Have an Option to Follow

BECAUSE FOOTBALL HAS BEEN SO SUCCESSFUL IN THE PAST IN LA LA LAND …

As reported at ESPN, the Rams are moving back to Los Angeles and they could have company joining them. This was all about the NFL getting a football team back in Los Angeles, the US’s second largest media market. It had nothing to do with fans. The Chargers also have the option of following the Rams to LA. I will say this, how many times will the NFL put a team in LA and watch it fail? There are reasons why the Rams left in the first place and the Raiders moved there and then left. Now the NFL thinks that LA can support possibly 2 teams. Really? We shall see. As stated previously, I just feel bad for the fans.

As for the Raiders, it appears they will stay in Oakland.

RAMS

The San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders might end up staying where they are, but leadership of the teams didn’t come close to making that commitment Tuesday night. One of them could be headed to L.A. too.

A long day of votes and re-votes ended with 30 of 32 NFL owners approving Rams owner Stan Kroenke’s ambitious plan to move his team from St. Louis to the site of the old Hollywood Park racetrack in Inglewood, California, about 10 miles from downtown L.A. The Chargers have a yearlong option to join the Rams, followed by the Raiders if the San Diego franchise declines.

The Raiders and Chargers submitted a competing proposal to share a new stadium in Carson, California, but that option also did not garner the 24 votes needed for approval. After another negotiating session in the afternoon, Kroenke’s $1.8 billion project prevailed.

The decision ends the NFL’s 21-year absence from the nation’s second-largest media market.

Speaking on NFL Network, Dickerson said he feels “bad for St. Louis” but believes the Rams belong in Los Angeles.

“I think it’s great to have the Rams back in Los Angeles. They were here 49 years. Not having football in L.A. I think it’s been missed here the last 20 years for sure,” Dickerson said. “I do feel bad for St. Louis. I do go to St. Louis every year. I went to three games this year. They won a Super Bowl in St. Louis — something they didn’t do in Los Angeles.

“The Rams are the Rams and I’ll support them no matter where they go to, but this is where they should be, back in Los Angeles.”

CBS Poll: Ted Cruz Remains Ahead in Iowa with 40%, Trump Second at 31%

According to the latest CBS poll, Texas senator Ted Cruz remains in the lead in Iowa with 40 percent of likely Republican caucus-goers as opposed to Donald Trump coming in second with 31 percent. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) is a distant third with 12%. If the polling continues to play out like this, an Iowa win will gain momentum for Cruz and although New Hampshire is probably not in play, South Carolina is.

What’s that sound? The establishment GOP’s collective stomach churning as conservative Ted Cruz could be the real deal for the GOP primary.

Ted Cruz

Ted Cruz maintains a strong lead over Donald Trump in Iowa, according to the results of a poll released Sunday.

The Texas senator, in the CBS poll, grabbed the support of 40 percent of likely Republican caucus-goers in Iowa. Trump is at 31 percent, followed by Marco Rubio at 12 percent and Ben Carson at 6 percent. Every other GOP candidate receives 2 percent or less in the poll.

The CBS poll follows last week’s Iowa Poll — which showed Cruz with a 10-point lead over Trump, 31 percent to 21 percent — and a Monmouth University poll that had him in first place with 24 percent among all Republican candidates.

Polls of Iowa and the country as a whole have painted two different pictures: Trump remains atop national polls.

GOP Presidential Candidate Ted Cruz Says … I Will Rebuild Our Military, Kill the Terrorists & Never Apologize For America

IMAGINE WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE WITH A PRESIDENT WHO ACTUALLY WANTED TO PROTECT AMERICA AND KILL TERRORISTS?

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and GOP Presidential candidate rolled out a a series of TV ads in Iowa on Saturday, taking aim at the the incompetence and weak handed approach of dealing with terrorism by both Barack Hussein Obama and former Secretary of State under Obama, Democrat front runner for the party nomination, Hillary Clinton.

“Under Presidential Obama and Secretary Clinton, the world is more dangerous and America is less safe

If I’m elected to serve as Commander-in-Chief, we won’t cower in the face of evil. America will lead. We’ll rebuild our military. We’ll kill the terrorists. And every Islamic militant will know, if you wage jihad against us, you’re signing your death warrant. And under no circumstances will I ever apologize for America.”

The Hill:

The ad is particularly timely as law enforcement is investigating Wednesday’s San Bernardino, Calif., shootings as an act of terrorism.

Cruz and rival presidential candidate Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) have recently exchanged national security jabs after Cruz supported a National Security Agency reform bill this year, which is touted by privacy advocates but opposed by some Republicans who believe it will weaken U.S. intelligence activities.

Cruz also debuted a second ad touting an endorsement from Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa).

Ahead of the Iowa caucuses in February, Cruz ranks third in GOP presidential polls in the Hawkeye State, trailing Donald Trump and Ben Carson.
