Grand Jury Indicts Four School Employees (Steubenville City Schools Superintendent Michael McVey, Elementary School Principal Lynnett Gorman, Wrestling Coach Seth Fluharty & Assistant Football Coach Matt Belardine) in 2012 Rape of a 16 Year Old Girl in Steubenville, OH

Stunning indictment of four Steubenville, Ohio school employees in 2012 rape case …

The grand jury that was investigating the 2012 rape of a 16 year old girl in Steubenville, Ohio, has indicted four school employees, including the Steubenville City Schools Superintendent Michael McVey, Elementary School principal Lynnett Gorman, wrestling coach Seth Fluharty and volunteer assistant football coach Matt Belardine. In March 2013, two Steubenville High School football players, Ma’lik Richmond and Trenton Mays, were convicted of the rape of a 16 year old girl.

At a press conference today, Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine said it was time to make adults responsible as well. He stated, “This began as the rape of a 16 year old girl, a horrible crime of violence. But it also represents blurred, stretched, and distorted boundaries of right and wrong.” DeWine went on to say, “While this started out being about the kids, it is also just as much about the parents, about the grown-ups, about the adults. How do you hold kids accountable if you don’t hold the adults accountable?” Great question and one that needs to be answered!

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine announces the indictments at presser … “While this started out being about the kids, It is also just as much about the parents.”

NY Times Reports: The Obama Administration Doesn’t Want You to Call ObamaCare “Redistribution” … Even Though It Is And They Know(Knew) It

What’s in a word, except everything.

The New York Times is reporting that Barack Obama and his administration does not want you to call Obamacare the “R” word. Not racism, but “REDISTRIBUTION”. Just as Barack Obama and Democrats have suddenly distanced themselves from calling Obama’s signature piece of legislation Obamacare as it has become toxic. They also do not want you to call Obamacare a redistribution of wealth, when it obviously is. America, how else do you think that so many millions of uninsured poor people were going to miraculously get insurance, from the healthcare fairy?  The fact of the matter is, that they knew it all along and demonized Republicans when they stated the truth. Now suddenly millions of Americans don’t like it when the redistribution of wealth, the money grab is not just from the rich, but from the middle class as well. We said a long time ago, be very careful what Obama and his band of socialist define as rich, it might just be you.

Redistribution

Rebecca M. Blank was a top candidate in 2011 to lead President Obama’s Council of Economic Advisers, but then the White House turned up something politically dangerous.

“A commitment to economic justice necessarily implies a commitment to the redistribution of economic resources, so that the poor and the dispossessed are more fully included in the economic system,” Ms. Blank, a noted poverty researcher, wrote in 1992. With advisers wary of airing those views in a nomination fight, Mr. Obama passed over Ms. Blank, then a top Commerce Department official and now the chancellor of the University of Wisconsin. Instead he chose Alan Krueger, a Princeton economist.

“Redistribution is a loaded word that conjures up all sorts of unfairness in people’s minds,” said William M. Daley, who was Mr. Obama’s chief of staff at the time. Republicans wield it “as a hammer” against Democrats, he said, adding, “It’s a word that, in the political world, you just don’t use.”

These days the word is particularly toxic at the White House, where it has been hidden away to make the Affordable Care Act more palatable to the public and less a target for Republicans, who have long accused Democrats of seeking “socialized medicine.” But the redistribution of wealth has always been a central feature of the law and lies at the heart of the insurance market disruptions driving political attacks this fall.

“Americans want a fair and fixed insurance market,” said Jonathan Gruber, a health economist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology who advised Mr. Obama’s team as it designed the law. “You cannot have that without some redistribution away from a small number of people.”

The National Review On-line has 8 takeaways from the NYT article, here are a few:

  • The White House intentionally hid Obamacare’s redistributive goals.
  • Policy experts knew all along but didn’t tell the public.
  • David Axelrod blames American political culture for Obama’s needing to lie in the first place
  • Republican charges Obama feels must be deflected by disguising the truth: redistribution, socialized medicine, redistributor-in-chief, spreading the wealth around, closet socialist. (Read the rest of the takeaways HERE)

Make no mistake about it America, Barack Obama and Democrats lied to you and it was most certainly intentional. Their entire model of Obamacare is based on the redistribution of wealth and bringing others up while taking you down. That’s what socialists deem fair.

VIDEO Hat Tip – Before It Is News

In Malaysia, where we think this happened, thieves are extremely brazen and apparently very careless.
Today’s target was a woman that they expected would not put up any kind of a fight. They say revenge is a dish best served cold.

Well, this girl is about to serve it up hot. I bet they never saw this coming!

Hmm, was this a real attack or was the video part of Crime Awareness in Malaysia?

Country Music Singer Wayne Mills Shot & Killed by Pit & Barrel Bar Owner Chris Ferrellby in Nashville, TN … Supposedly Self Defense Over Argument Over Mills Smoking in the Bar

44 year old country singer  Wayne Mills was shot by ‘Pit & Barrel’ bar owner Chris Ferrellby at the downtown Nashville, TN bar early Saturday morning. Mills, lead singer of the Wayne Mills Band, later died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. According to Ferrellby, he shot Mills in self-defense after the two got into an altercation because Mills was smoking in a non-smoking area of the restaurant. Really, the use of deadly force for smoking in a non-smoking section? I guess smoking really does kill. One would suspect that there has to be more to this story. The Nashville metro police continue to instigate the shooting.

Nashville police on Sunday said they are still investigating a fatal shooting in the early hours of Saturday morning that left a country singer dead inside a downtown Nashville bar.

Wayne Mills, 44, was shot by Pit and Barrel bar owner Chris Ferrell, police said. Ferrell told police he shot Mills in self-defense following an argument over Mills smoking in the bar. Mills later died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

“We’re investigating Chris Ferrell’s claims of self-defense,” said Kris Mumford, a police spokeswoman. Ferrell is not in custody and there have been no arrests, she said.

Mills toured with the Wayne Mills Band, which often performed on the college circuit. The music was “outlaw/southern rock flavored,” according to the band’s website. Early in their careers, country music stars Jamey Johnson and Blake Shelton and American Idol winner Taylor Hicks had all opened for the band.

Last Honky Tonk

On a personal note, I have actually seen Wayne Mills perform and in a day and age where Country music has become more main stream and one can’t tell the difference between pop and country, you certainly could with the Wayne Mills Band. Although I am not a huge country fan, it is refreshing when you are in a “Honky Tonk” to hear more traditional country music.  How very sad. Our prayers go out to Wayne’s family, loved ones and friends.

Taylor Hicks posted on Facebook, “My good friend Wayne Mills passed away in Nashville. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. RIP Wayne he was my buddy. -Taylor”
