Oregon School Suspends 8th Grader Alan Holmes Over Battlefield Cross T-shirt Supporting Our Troops

OUR EDUCATION SYSTEM IS STUCK ON STUPID …

The Dexter McCarty Middle School in Gresha, Oregon has suspended an 8th grader, Alan Holme, for wearing a Battlecross t-shirt to school that supported out United States military. REALLY? The school gave the boy the choice between changing his shirt or going home. This wise and proud young American chose to go home. Alan Holmes stated, “I’m not changing into a Dexter shirt. They won’t let me wear a shirt that supports the people that keep us free, I’m not going to support them.” The loser from the school district responded with, “we have a policy on student dress and grooming. Weapons on a shirt are not appropriate in a school setting.” Really, patriotism and what allows a school to freely teach has nothing to do with our US Military?

Hmm, so the school can’t differentiate between supporting our trooper and the depiction of a gun promoting violence? Just curious, does the school system differentiate between good touch and bad touch? How about Muslims and radical Islam? Yeah, I thought so. This is just another case where the student has more common sense than adults. This is just more liberal, weeny indoctrination in our schools.

An Oregon middle school cracked down last week on a student who showed up in a battlefield cross T-shirt that said, “Standing for those who stood for us.”

Eighth-grader Alan Holmes’ T-shirt imagery of a rifle, helmet and boots denoting loss may have symbolized patriotism to him, but not to administrators at Dexter McCarty Middle School in Gresham who demanded the boy change his shirt and then suspended him when he refused.

“I’m not changing into a Dexter shirt,” the 13-year-old told Fox 12. “They won’t let me wear a shirt that supports the people that keep us free, I’m not going to support them.”

The showdown with the principal over Alan’s T-shirt took place Wednesday while emotions were still roiling in the state over the mass shooting at Umqua Community College that left a teacher and eight students dead.

During an air show in Pensacola, Fla., on Saturday the Navy’s Blue Angels performed a flyover of the beach that was close enough to blow beach umbrellas out of the sand and into the sky.

The maneuver was performed by Blue Angel No. 5, a F/A-18 Hornet flown by Lt. Cmdr. Mark Tedrow. Tedrow is a Pennsylvania native who has been with the Blue Angels since September 2011, according to his biography on their site. He has 2,200 flight hours and 212 carrier-arrested landings. He has also earned the Strike Flight Air Medal as well as the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal

Carli Lloyd scored twice in the first five minutes on the way to the fastest hat trick in World Cup history and the the U.S. made the margin stand up, defeating Japan 5-2 to win the 2015 Women’s World Cup.

With the victory, the American women avenged their 2011 World Cup finals loss to Japan, a game they lost on penalty kicks.

On this July 4th, 2015 as We celebrate Our American Independence. Remember that as our own government, that is supposed to be of, by and for the People, attempts to make “We the People” dependent upon government. As we celebrate American Independence with family and friends always remember that Freedom, Liberty and Independence are never free and come at a great cost. The great sacrifice of Our Founding Fathers and those who followed to protect our way of life should never be forgotten. A special thanks to those who made it possible for the words scribed in The Declaration of Independence 1776. Because the politicians of today would have been incapable of doing so.

Remember the sacrifice and the bravery of so many who fought against the British crown to create an Independent country of the United States of America. And so many after gaining our independence who gave their lives to protect and maintain those freedoms. TODAY, it is “We the People’s” job to maintain American independence as stated in the Declaration of Independence, “That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.” America, that means that government gets its power from the people, not the other way around. NEVER FORGET THAT.

The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America,

Generation of children grew up watching this VIDEO of the Battle of Lexington and Concord. Sadly today, School House Rock became school house liberal indoctrination. Take a good look at the lyrics below from this video for all-time. Would the PC crowd of today demand that the word rebel flag be stricken? Do you think it matters to them or they have any understanding that Our Founding Fathers, those at the Boston Tea party and those who fought for Independence were the rebels?
