Senator McCain (R-AZ) Gets Hammered at Town Hall Event for His Support of Military Strikes Against Syria … “Why are you not listening to the people and staying out of Syria? It’s not our fight.”

McRINO gets blasted by “We the People” …

Senator John McCain took time from his video poker to hold a town meeting and got an earful from his constituents and by an overwhelming majority was told not to take military action against Syria. Many in the crowd echoed the sentiment that getting more involved in the civil war would lead to unintended consequences. Something that appears to be completely lost on President Obama, McCain, Kerry and the rest. One individual stated, “Why are you not listening to the people and staying out of Syria? It’s not our fight.”

Sen. John McCain, whose endorsement of President Barack Obama’s plan to launch military strikes against Syria provided the president a key Republican backer, faced vocal opponents of military action during a town hall in Arizona Thursday.

McCain has long advocated a more muscular American approach toward Syria, calling for a plan to oust President Bashar al-Assad from power. But on Thursday many people who showed up to a town hall in Phoenix said that getting more involved in the civil war would lead to unintended consequences.

“We didn’t send you to make war for us. We sent you to stop the war,” one man said to applause.

At one point during the meeting McCain was interrupted causing the senator to stop and address the individual, “What you’re doing is not just disrespectful to me, but disrespectful to others who want their opinions and views heard.” Really? I actually think it is more disrecptful to completely ignore the will of the people and do whatever you damn well please. You were elected to represent the People, not go off on your tangents where this fossil actually believes the so-called freedom fighters are not Al-Qaeda.

President Barack Obama – The Lying King … “My Credibility Is Not On The Line” … “I Didn’t Set a Red Line. The World set a Red Line … “Congress set a red line …”

THE LION LYING KING: Is Barack Obama capable of telling the truth, or taking responsibility for anything?

President Barack Obama actually had the audacity to say that he did not set a red line. Instead, the buck stops with everyone else but President Obama. It is unbelievable that this man cannot take the accountability and responsibility for admitting to what he has already said. Obama says that his “credibility is not on the line” and that he “didn’t set a red line”, it was the world and the Congress that did so. Hmm, really? If the world had set a red line when it came to chemical weapons in Syria, why does Obama have a Coalition of None when it comes to military action against Syria? And Congress also set the red line, the same Congress that Obama had no intention of getting military approval from until he was forced to. So instead, on a world stage a US president threw the International community and US Congress under the bus. UNREAL. What else should be have expected from a community agitator?

Real Clear Politics:

PRESIDENT OBAMA: Let me unpack the question. First of all, I didn’t set a red line. The world set a red line. The world set a red line when governments representing 98 percent of the world’s population said the use of chemical weapons are abhorrent and passed a treaty forbidding their use even when countries are engaged in war. Congress set a red line when it ratified that treaty. Congress set a red line when it indicated that in a piece of legislation titled the Syria Accountability Act that some of the horrendous thing that are happening on the ground there need to be answered for. And so, when I said, in a press conference, that my calculus about what’s happening in Syria would be altered by the use of chemical weapons, which the overwhelming consensus of humanity says is wrong, that wasn’t something I just kind of made up. I didn’t pluck it out of thin air. There was a reason for it. That’s point number one. Point number two, my credibility is not on the line. The international community’s credibility is on the line. And America and Congress’ credibility is on the line because we give lip service to the notion that these international norms are important.

How does Obama words above that he did not draw a red line contrast with Obama’s words from an August 2012 statement? It would appear that he most certainly did have a red line for us. The me, me, me, I, I, I president said “us” which most likely meant his administration, not the United States. Remember, Obama had no intention of asking for Congressional approval until the British Parliament said “NO” to PM Cameron and the US polls were so negatively opposed to a military strike against Syria.

Clash Between US Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-SC) Challenging John Kerry With Benghazi Questions During Syria Hearing and the Obama Administrations Credibility

Representative Duncan shreds Secretary of State John Kerry and the Obama Administration on credibility.

Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-SC) challenged Kerry and the Obama administration on military action in Syria when they have a lack of credibility doing anything with Benghazi, Fast & Furious and other White House scandals. Duncan said to Sec. Kerry, “America deserves answers before we send another man or woman the caliber of Ty Woods in harm’s way especially in another country’s civil war.” Obviously Duncan hit a nerve with Kerry as the Sec. of State became very defensive and thin skinned with his answers and response. Then Kerry said the unthinkable which made his predecessors, Hillary Clinton’s, comment, “What difference does it make” (VIDEO 5:14) pale in comparison …   “We’re talking about people being killed by gas and you want to go talk about Benghazi and Fast and Furious!” Unbelievable. So are we to understand that the death of four Americans, including Ambassador Stevens, in Benghazi where no one has been brought to justice and  US Border guard Brian Terry’s death are actually less important in the eyes of the Obama administration? We are still the United States of America, are we not?

“These issues call into question the accountability of this administration,” Duncan said. “Its commitment to the personnel on the ground, and the judgment that it uses when, making these determinations. The American people deserve answers before they move forward talking about military involvement in Syria.”

This is what happens when you have a president who cannot be trusted and who has scandals abound. There is no political capital to give him the benefit of the doubt. Obama has no credibility.

The Blaze:

Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-S.C.) during the House Foreign Affairs Committee’s hearing on Syria Wednesday got into a tense back and forth with Secretary of State John Kerry after the congressman brought up last year’s deadly Benghazi terror attack to question the White House’s credibility on foreign affairs.

The administration has a serious credibility issue with the American people,” Duncan said, “due to unanswered questions surrounding the terrorist attack in Benghazi almost a year ago.”

He went on to mention some of the other major scandals that have plagued the Obama administration, including the Internal Revenue Service’s targeting of conservative groups and the Department of Justice’s monitoring of the Associated Press.

“Bottom line is there’s a need for accountability and trust-building from the administration,” he said. “The administration has a credibility issue.”

Sorry, but the Obama administration has no credibility. Some how they cannot bring to justice those that killed four Americans in Benghazi and pretty much refuse to investigate and get answers, let alone try to lie and defraud the American people as to what happened there. They have no credibility with Fast & Furious, AP-gate, IRS-gate, FOX/Rosen-gate, NSA-gate and the list goes on and on. This administration has a record of being less than honest with the American people. Why should they be given the benefit of the doubt now? Obama tried to rush us into a military action and a Syrian civil war with no Congressional approval until the Brits said no to PM Cameron. JUST SAY NO!
