In 1988, he became a member of the first ever Critical Incident Stress Management team at Toronto Emergency Medical Services.  He has an extensive background in crisis intervention and peer support.He is a graduate of Royal Roads University and Humber College of Applied Arts and Technology. He is a Certified Executive Coach, an alumni member of the York Region Critical Incident Stress Management Team, has served as an advisor to Peer Support Accreditation Certification (Canada), is a qualified Mental Health Works trainer, a certified Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training instructor, and he was a professor at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology teaching in the School of Public Safety, Emergency Communications Services program.

• Author Dawna Kaufmann, who will be discussing the Bill Cosby sexual assault case.

Earlier this month, after sixth days of deliberations in the Bill Cosby sexual assault case, jurors sent word to Judge Steve T. O’Neill that they could not reach a unanimous verdict and the are “hopelessly deadlocked.” The judge declared a mistrial. Afterwards, prosecutor Kevin Steele announced in court that he will retry Cosby.

CNN’s Van Jones Calls Trump-Russia story a ‘Nothing Burger’ in Latest Project Veritas Video

So now it’s CNN’s Van Jones calling the Trump-Russia story a “nothing burger”. But wait, its not just a nothing burger, “its a BIG nothing burger.”

PV Reporter: What do you think is going to happen this week with the whole Russia thing?
Van Jones: The Russia thing is just a big nothing burger
PV Reporter: Really?
Jones: Yeah.
PV Reporter: You don’t think that…
Jones: There’s nothing there you can do.

This coming off the earlier Project Veritas video where a CNN producer was caught saying the Russia-Trump story was “mostly bullshit” and CNN was doing it for ratings.

CNN was hit Wednesday with a second undercover video, this one featuring regular political contributor Van Jones calling the Russia controversy a “nothing burger.”

The video shows Mr. Jones, a former Obama White House adviser, speaking on hidden camera after being greeted by a Project Veritas investigator.

“The Russia thing is just a big nothing burger,” Mr. Jones says on the clip.

The video comes a day after Project Veritas released footage showing CNN producer John Bonifield saying that CNN has pushed what he called the “bullsh—” Russia story in order to juice ratings.

THE FAKE NEWS KEEPS COMING FROM CNN … FORCED TO RETRACT STORY …

Just more fake news from CNN and another reason why they are no longer the most trusted name in news. In a continued effort to get President Donald Trump and falsely tie him with the Russians, CNN was forced to delete, retract and scrub their fake news story involving an investigation of a Russian investment fund with potential ties to several associates of President Donald Trump. This is what happens when a news outlet operates as a arm of the Democrat party and reports propaganda, not news. Whether this be considered fake news or wrong news, the fact of the matter is that CNN went with it because they hoped it was true news and another attempt to smear the Trump presidency.

On Thursday evening, CNN investigative reporter Thomas Frank published a potentially explosive report involving an investigation of a Russian investment fund with potential ties to several associates of President Donald Trump.

But by Friday night, the story was removed from CNN’s website and all links were scrubbed from the network’s social media accounts.

“That story did not meet CNN’s editorial standards and has been retracted,” CNN said in an editors note posted in place of the story. “Links to the story have been disabled.”

Neither Frank or CNN immediately responded to requests for comment, and a spokesperson for the Senate Intelligence Committee wasn’t available to comment.

Frank, a Pulitzer Prize-nominated journalist, had reported that the Senate Intelligence Committee was investigating a “$10-billion Russian investment fund whose chief executive met with a member of President Donald Trump’s transition team four days before Trump’s inauguration.”

In addition to retracting its story, CNN also apologized to Anthony Scaramucci, an adviser to Trump during the presidential campaign and a member of his transition team’s executive committee, who was mentioned in the story as having met Kirill Dmitriev, the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) that the network said is overseen by Vnesheconombank, a state-run bank that is currently under U.S. sanctions.

AMAZING, SIMPLY AMAZING … OBAMA ADMINISTRATION KNEW ABOUT RUSSIAN HACKING AND DID NOTHING.

Who was covering up the Russian hacking and maybe the focus should be on the administration that was in charge at the time of the Russian hacking and what little they did about it.

The Obama administration feared that acknowledging Russian meddling in the 2016 election would reveal too much about intelligence gathering and be interpreted as “taking sides” in the race, the former secretary of homeland security said Wednesday.

“One of the candidates, as you recall, was predicting that the election was going to be ‘rigged’ in some way,” said Jeh Johnson, the former secretary, referring to President Trump’s unsubstantiated accusation before Election Day. “We were concerned that by making the statement we might, in and of itself, be challenging the integrity of the election process itself.”

Mr. Johnson’s testimony, before the House Intelligence Committee, provided a fresh insight into how the Obama administration tried to balance politically explosive information with the public’s need to know. That question also vexed federal law enforcement officials investigating Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.

GOWDY: At the time you separated from service in January 2017, had you seen any evidence that Donald Trump or any member of his campaign colluded, conspired or coordinated with the Russians or anyone else to infiltrate or impact our voter infrastructure?

JOHNSON: Not beyond what has been out there open-source, and not beyond anything that I’m sure this committee has already seen and heard before, directly from the intelligence community. So anything I’d have on that is derivative of what the intelligence community has — and the law enforcement community.

FOX News: Trey Gowdy: ‘Ironic’ Dems Now Complaining About Hacking They Didn’t Want Examined.

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) said it is “a little ironic” that some Democrats are now complaining about the lack of help they got with the Democratic National Committee’s servers, which were compromised by Russia during the 2016 campaign season.

Former Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson testified before the House Intelligence Committee Wednesday, saying he was not pleased that the DNC did not turn over its compromised servers to the Department of Homeland Security for examination.

Host Martha McCallum asked Gowdy why he thinks Democrats might not want the DNC server examined.

“Wouldn’t that help you, number one, identify who the attacker was, and if memory serves me, this was early in the summer of 2016 when we learned of the DNC hack, so if they had turned the server over to either you or [former FBI] Director [James] Comey, maybe we would have known more and maybe there would have been more for you to report?” Gowdy asked. “So I guess what I’m asking you is, why would the victim of a crime not turn over a server to the intelligence community or to law enforcement?”

“I’m not going to argue with you, sir,” Johnson answered.

Johnson went on to say with a laugh that Gowdy’s question was “leading,” although earlier in the hearing Gowdy had told Johnson to tell him if any of his questions accidentally sounded as though they were doing just that.

THE DISMANTLING OF OBAMA’S DISASTROUS 8 YEARS …

Yesterday, President Donald Trump spoke in Little Havana in Miami, Florida and told the crowd of Cuban ex-pats that he would be cancelling and making changes to the Obama-era Cuba policy and is challenging the Cuban government to negotiate a better deal. Trump told the audience that he would be canceling Obama’s one-sided deal with the Cuban government. You can remember that Obama’s change in policy with Cuba was met with bipartisan opposition. In essence, this one-sided deal looks rather similar to the Iran nuclear deal where one just scratches their head and wonders how a sitting US president negotiated such a deal in the so-called best interest of the United States.

The Cuban government said that  President Trump’s speech was ‘loaded with hostile rhetoric’. GOOD!!! That is what it was intended to be. Note to the liberal MSM, Cuba is a socialist and Communist government. Do you think we care what they think? The days of the like of Obama appeasing socialist and communists are over. The days of one-sides agreements that do not benefit America are over! That is what the election of 2016 was about.
