Barack Obama, the First American President Who has Refused the Title, “Leader of the Free World” or “Commander In Chief”
Barack Obama, LOST IN SMALLNESS, Part 72
From Town Hall.com, Charles Krauthammer once again has called President Barack Obama for what he is, or in this case for what he isn’t … The Leader of the free World and the Commander in Chief. Obama was incapable of making a decisive decision with regards to Libya, and then when he did get involved the “Obamamessiah” could not get out fast enough and relinquish the leadership role to NATO. As Krauthammer states, Obama’s “Working On Language That Will Disguise A Failure” … is there any wonder why he wants to provide the appearance that he has no part in the Libyan “Kinetic Military Action” WAR.
You disagree that this President is not a decisive leader? You would be in the heavy minority. But wait, there is more, Flopping Aces provides yet another example of just how indecisive Obama truly is … how long and painful a process was it for Obama to just pick a dog?
So Barack Obama committed the American military to a war without asking Congress, but instead got the UN’s permission to do so and attacked a foreign country while on Spring Break in Brazile promising them money for oil exploration while not allowing 2012 can not come fast enough.

Only 17% of Americans see President Barack Obama as a Strong & Decisive Military Leader
Failure to Lead …
According to a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll, only 17% of Americans believe that President Barack Obama is a strong and decisive leader. Who would have thunk it? Because Obama has showed so much deceive leadership in everything else he has done since he as been president. After all, what kind of leader is he really when he cannot call a military action for what is really is … a war. Instead under the Community Organizer in Chief it is a “Kinetic Military Action”.
Only 17 percent of Americans see President Barack Obama as a strong and decisive military leader, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll taken after the United States and its allies began bombing Libya.
Nearly half of those polled view Obama as a cautious and consultative commander-in-chief and more than a third see him as indecisive in military matters.
Obama was widely criticized in 2009 for his months-long consultations with senior aides and military chiefs on whether to send more troops to Afghanistan. Critics called it dithering, but he said such a big decision required careful deliberation. He eventually dispatched 30,000 more troops.

VP Joe Biden Shows Up to NY Yankees Spring Training for Photo Op as US Wages War in Libya, Middle East in Crisis & Japan Recovers
Is it possible that President Obama and VP Biden could actually take their jobs serious?
While President Barack Obama plays tourist in Latin America,VP Joe Biden not to be outdone takes time for a photo op and some laughs at NY Yankee Spring Training. UNREAL. Could these two clowns actually take their job serious, especially at a time in which they have committed US troops to yet another military action? Oh that’s right, Obama cancelled his trip to the Mayan Ruins so to appear to look like a leader.
Mr. President, would an act of war against Libya be considered a big “F’n” deal?
As stated by the Toronto Star, gues happens when Biden shows up to watch a Spring Training game … TOTAL CONFUSION. This seems to be par for the course with any thing done by Obama and Biden these days. That same confusion appears to be the order of the day in Obama’s war in Libya as well. The US along with the “Coalition of the Unwilling” goes to war against Libya in an effort to protect civilians and not target Qaddafi as Obama who wants no part of leading the action tells the world and Libya that we will in no way put boots on the ground. Who tells the enemy what their plans are?
From the overwhelmed, over their head, Gang that Couldn’t Shoot Straight … the Middle East in crisis, Japan struggling with fixing nuclear reactors and recovering from an earthquake and tsunami, more terrorist attacks in Israel and the US is now implicated in another military action, this time with Libya and Biden is in FL at a fund raiser for Ben Nelson and off to see the Yankees (VIDEO).
Maybe the reason why Biden decided to have some fun and take in a game was because French PM Francois Fillon said we were not at war. Could you imagine what the MSM would be reporting if a Republican President and VP acted like this at such a time of crisis? It is simply frightening that Obama and Biden were elected at this point in time of our county’s history. How out of touch could they be?
2012 cannot come fast enough!

Speaker of the House John Boehner Sends Letter to Obama on Military Action in Libya … What’s the Mission?
Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH), in the wake of the United States Launching cruise missiles and taking military action against Libya, has sent a letter to President Barack Obama requesting answers as to what the mission is and what America’s role is in achieving that mission. Since the first cruise missiles werelaunched, the muddled and mixed message from Obama and his minions has been beyond confusing. Obama has stated that Khaddafi should step down, yet others in his Admin have stated they are not targeting Khadaffi and a scenario could occur where he remains in power after all is said and done. What?
I respect your authority as Commander-in-Chief and support our troops as they carry out their mission. But I and many other members of the House of Representatives are troubled that U.S. military resources were committed to war without clearly defining for the American people, the Congress, and our troops what the mission in Libya is and what America’s role is in achieving that mission. In fact, the limited, sometimes contradictory, case made to the American people by members of your Administration has left some fundamental questions about our engagement unanswered. At the same time, by contrast, it appears your Administration has consulted extensively on these same matters with foreign entities such as the United Nations and the Arab League.
It is my hope that you will provide the American people and Congress a clear and robust assessment of the scope, objective, and purpose of our mission in Libya and how it will be achieved. Here are some of the questions I believe must be answered:

Democratic Virginia Sen. Jim Webb Critical of Obama Libyan Mission … “this isn’t the way that our system is supposed to work.”
Retiring Democrat Senators say the darndest things …
Yet another Democrat coming out against Obama’s militray action. It is not just Republicans and the Far Left that have been critical of the way Obama got the United States into another military skirmish, add Democrat Virginia US Senator Jim Webb to the list as well. So Barack Obama takes the case for getting the US involved in a military conflict with Libya thru the Unites Nationa but does not get approval from the US Congress? As retiring US Senator Jim Webb stated, ” … this isn’t the way that our system is supposed to work.”
But the United States’ participation in this military endeavor has raised some questions by Democratic Virginia Sen. Jim Webb. On Monday’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” on MSNBC, Webb struck a critical tone when talking about the mission.
“If we’re going to discuss what’s going on in Libya now and in the future, we have to start with three basic considerations,” Webb said. “The first is we have a military operation that’s been put to play, but we do not have a clear diplomatic policy or clear statement of foreign policy that has accompanied this military operation. The second and the questions you were just asking are some that I’ve asked on the Foreign Relations Committee and the Armed Forces Committee, we know we don’t like the Gaddafi regime, but we do not have a picture of who the opposition movement really is.
Isn’t it amazing what one is willing to say about Obama when they are not running for office in 2012.
Who said that the “President Does Not Have Power Under Constitution to Unilaterally Authorize a Military Attack”? That would be Barack Hussein Obama in a Dec. 20, 2007 interview with the Boston Globe. But of course its different know for the hypocritical Obama.
2. In what circumstances, if any, would the president have constitutional authority to bomb Iran without seeking a use-of-force authorization from Congress? (Specifically, what about the strategic bombing of suspected nuclear sites — a situation that does not involve stopping an IMMINENT threat?)
The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.
As Commander-in-Chief, the President does have a duty to protect and defend the United States. In instances of self-defense, the President would be within his constitutional authority to act before advising Congress or seeking its consent.
