Article You Will Never Find in US Newspaper: ’2008 The Year Man-made Global Warming Was Disproved

Could anyone imagine an article being printed in a US newspaper that 2008 was the Global-warming-whose-to-blameyear that man-made global warming was disproved? Neither can Newsbusters.

It would appear that the Telegraph of London has more journalistic integrity than their fellow newspapers across the pond in the United States. The Telegraph’s article titled, “2008 was the year man-made global warming was disproved,” has certainly provided an alternative and interesting read that all should take a look at that is much different than the pandering media global warming alarmists. Will there be an honest discussion with regards to global warming or cooling that it is controlled by “natural factors”, not man-made?

Easily one of the most important stories of 2008 has been all the evidence suggesting that this may be looked back on as the year when there was a turning point in the great worldwide panic over man-made global warming. Just when politicians in Europe and America have been adopting the most costly and damaging measures politicians have ever proposed, to combat this supposed menace, the tide has turned in three significant respects.

First, all over the world, temperatures have been dropping in a way wholly unpredicted by all those computer models which have been used as the main drivers of the scare. Last winter, as temperatures plummeted, many parts of the world had snowfalls on a scale not seen for decades. This winter, with the whole of Canada and half the US under snow, looks likely to be even worse. After several years flatlining, global temperatures have dropped sharply enough to cancel out much of their net rise in the 20th century.

More on Global Warming … Hey Al Gore … It’s Really Cold out there … Global Icing?

Oh the weather outside is frightful, But the fire is so delightful, And since we’ve no place to go, Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! I think Al Gore just took this song off his Christmas play list. One really must wonder what goes on in Al’s mind when he preaches “global warming” yet steps outside and freezes his but off.

Yes, it is true sir … it is 4 degrees out side.

Across the United States the weather has not cooperated with Al Gore theories on ‘Global warming”. How soon will it be before all puts forth a documentary on “The Ice Age Cometh”?

The weather outside was frightful from Portland, Maine, to Portland, Ore., on Monday, with last-minute holiday shoppers shivering and stranded travelers hoping for the best as Christmas rapidly approached. The little town of Eustis, Maine, got nearly 3 1/2 feet of snow. In Marysville, Wash., north of Seattle, heavy snow collapsed part of the roof Monday at the Whitley Evergreen factory, which makes modular buildings. No one was injured, but inspectors were dispatched to make sure other buildings in the business park were safe.

CNN Meteorologist Chad Myers States Manmade Global Warming Theory ‘Arrogant’

Add another member of the weather community who has a dissenting point of view with manmade global warming. CNN’s meteorologist Chad Meyers is questioning the notion of manmade global warming calling it “pretty arrogant”. Meyers questions like many have that man in all his insignificance can affect the vastness of nature.

CNN Meteorologist Chad Myers had never bought into the notion that man can alter the climate and the Vegas snowstorm didn’t impact his opinion. Myers, an American Meteorological Society certified meteorologist, explained on CNN’s Dec. 18 “Lou Dobbs Tonight” that the whole idea is arrogant and mankind was in danger of dying from other natural events more so than global warming. “You know, to think that we could affect weather all that much is pretty arrogant,” Myers said. “Mother Nature is so big, the world is so big, the oceans are so big – I think we’re going to die from a lack of fresh water or we’re going to die from ocean acidification before we die from global warming, for sure.” “We have 100 years worth of data, not millions of years that the world’s been around,” Myers continued. More Global Warming: Las Vegas Receives Record Snow Fall … What Happens in Vegas …

Sin City = Snow City

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas … including the record snowfall of 3.6 inches they just received. What are the odds that it would snow in VEGAS? Hey Al Gore, you should have bet on snow. Al Gore states that there is global warming yet it is snowing almost every where in the US. The Northeast is still trying to dig out of last weeks ice storm that left millions without power. The Deep South recently witnessed some unseasonable snow and Wisconsin braces for a potential 15 inches of snow this weekend.

What were the odds in Vegas that it would actually snow in Vegas? As The Jawa Report states, “WHY DOESN’T THE WEATHER LISTEN TO AL GORE?” And Moonbattery says, Global Warming Hits Southwest

A rare pre-winter storm brought Las Vegas its heaviest snowfall in nearly three decades, closing the airport and freeways as several inches coated marquees on the Las Vegas Strip and weighed down palm trees.

Global Warming??? Snow hits South Town in New Orleans, Houston … Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee

So much for global warming as snow hits the Deep South in the heart of Dixie. Global warming be damned as schools close, traffic comes to a stand still and snowman are the order of the day in the south.

Miser_bros

Today was like a scene out of  “A Year Without a Santa Claus” when it snowed in South Town in New Orleans, Houston and many other areas of the deep south. Since 1895, records indicate that snow has fallen this early just once in Houston, TX  on December 10, 1944. The Big Easy looked more like the “Big Freezy” as 2 to 8 inches of snow fell across the state of Louisiana. Mississippi, Tennessee, and Alabama  also found themselves with significant snow falls.

It was like the 2008 version of a Year without a Santa Claus as the two brothers, Heat and Snow Miser obviously must have had a heated argument ending in a chilly conclusion as it snowed in South Town. Maybe, just maybe global warming has everything to do with the environment and the Miser brothers, rather than man.

Global warming eh? Rare snow storm hits the south

Snow in New Orleans is a rarity. The last time it snowed was Christmas 2004; before that, the last snow recorded was in 1989, according to Jim Vasilj, a New_orlean_snowforecaster with the National Weather Service. Since 1850, snow had fallen in “measurable amounts” rather than traces in the city just 17 times, Vasilj said. Of the 17, today’s snowfall was the earliest in the season recorded.

As much as 6 inches had piled up in Livingston Parish as of 10 a.m., Vasilj said. Similar amounts were reported in Bogalusa and St. Helena Parish, while in Mandeville, between 2 and 3 inches had accumulated, according to Vasilj.

John Kerry is still looking for the Unites Sates to pass that “global” test.  This time the global test is required for global warming.

UPDATE I: Ice Storm Hits Northest as Millions are Left without Power

Ice_storm_121208

Dec. 12: Pedestrians walk along an ice-covered street in Kinderhook, N.Y. A wintry mix of sleet and freezing rain knocked out power to more than a million homes and businesses in New England and upstate New York Friday.

An ice storm knocked out power Friday to 1.25 million homes and businesses from Maine to Pennsylvania, closing schools and tying up travel, and authorities say it could take days for all customers to get service back.
