More on Global Warming … Hey Al Gore … It’s Really Cold out there … Global Icing?

Oh the weather outside is frightful, But the fire is so delightful, And since we’ve no place to go, Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! I think Al Gore just took this song off his Christmas play list. One really must wonder what goes on in Al’s mind when he preaches “global warming” yet steps outside and freezes his but off.

Al_Gore_weatherman

Yes, it is true sir … it is 4 degrees out side.

Across the United States the weather has not cooperated with Al Gore theories on ‘Global warming”. How soon will it be before all puts forth a documentary on “The Ice Age Cometh”?

Weather_chill_122308

The weather outside was frightful from Portland, Maine, to Portland, Ore., on Monday, with last-minute holiday shoppers shivering and stranded travelers hoping for the best as Christmas rapidly approached. The little town of Eustis, Maine, got nearly 3 1/2 feet of snow. In Marysville, Wash., north of Seattle, heavy snow collapsed part of the roof Monday at the Whitley Evergreen factory, which makes modular buildings. No one was injured, but inspectors were dispatched to make sure other buildings in the business park were safe.

Did I say the weather across America was not playing into Al’s global warming montra, I meant to say the world. Most all of Canada is on pace to see its first white Christmas since 1971. Beijing’s coldest December day in 57 years. Wait Al look … Europe is not being spared either with the cold.

“In 10 provinces, every one of them has got some weather misery out there, and an advisory,” he said.

“About the only areas not showing any advisory or warning situations are the Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut.”

Environment Canada snowfall warnings for Vancouver predict that up to 20 centimetres of snow will fall by Sunday evening, accompanied by bone-chilling wind-chill effects throughout the evening and into Monday.

Environment Canada meteorologist Geoff Coulson told The Canadian Press that the Prairies would see very low temperatures, falling into the -30s by Sunday evening.

But that can’t be true because Al Gore said we are experiencing Global Warming and we know how smart he is right? after all he did invent the internet

      ROFLMAO

How did this man ever win a nobel prize?

It’s all that hot air in Washington DC that’s warming the globe. They go on vacation and we drop into frigid temps.

Don’t slam a guy that is making big money
off his Religion of the Warming Globe.

His ‘devils’ are cars, businesses, chemicals,
      coal, power companies, refineries, gaseous
cattle, and in fact an endless list of Satans.

Make a donation to his church and he will
rant and rave about all these demons for you.
The money you give in the form of confiscatory
taxation will be used to quell all functions of
these offenders. The New Exorcism done by
Al (the revered and bloated one) will ice
our GNP into submission. America will finally
be absolved of it’s guilt (and relieved of it’s gelt).

      Please pass the collection plate!

I read some time back that global warming can cause extreme heat and cold…..something to do with the ozone layer, I think. When Krakatoa exploded in 1883 it was 13,000 times the bang of Little Boy when it hit Hiroshama. The skies went dark as the volcanic ash circled the globe. Messed up the crop growing season Nothing like old mother nature and God’s hand…….

i am very excited about this cold wave going to hit Europe starting on Christmas Day.

      maybe another Elfstedentocht next year…
      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elfstedentocht

but please keep in mind to distinguish weather from climate.
the long term trend is showing clearly a global warming of the earth due to manmade CO2 increase.

but of course there will be now and then cold spells.
that’s just still the hard to predict day-to-day weather.

i cant believe anyone would be crazy enough not to take global warming seriously. al gore is not the only person sounding an alarm on this issue. many of our own government paid scientists have been saying the same things for years. also experts from around the world agree that we are well on our way to destruction of our planet. i’m not saying anyone has all the answers but we all need to face up to the reality of what we’re doing to this earth.

    7. Steve Holloway on December 23rd, 2008 10:09 pm

They are nut jobs ok. To say the earth warming is causing it to get colder is well…crazy. With that kind of thinking…..Hell must be freezing over.
More scientists than not are saying we are not causing global warming. The earth goes in cycles of getting warmer and also getting colder. It is natural for this to happen.

    8. rightknight on December 23rd, 2008 11:51 pm

Mr. Gore is a superb showman. Barnum
and Bailey could use a lesson from this
alarmist. Screaming ‘fire’ in a crowded
planet sure raises the fear level of the
      citizens. Something must have popped
      after his presidential plop.

    9. caesu on December 23rd, 2008 11:57 pm

      7# Steve Holloway

      to give you one example:

if the north pole further melts due to the global warming, this could lead the warm gulfstream to slow down.
this then could lead to lower temperatures in north-west Europe.

      http://www.bbc.co.uk/climate/impact/gulf_stream.shtml

and you are mistaken, for well over a decade the overwhelming majority of scientists say humans are causing this global warming.

      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_opinion_on_climate_change

“With the July 2007 release of the revised statement by the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, NO remaining scientific body of national or international standing is known to reject the basic findings of human influence on recent climate.”

    10. rightknight on December 24th, 2008 12:58 am

The presumption by Al that climatological
modeling is Science rather than the incomplete
Art that it is, permits the skewing of data to
suit his arbitrary position on the matter. Little
attention has been paid to Nature’s long term
response to any perceived climate perturbations
caused by man. The sudden urgency of this
revelation by Gore suits his agenda of taxing
the problem away. Social Engineering by government
has failed regularly, (especially in Europe). In
the short term however, alarmists can reap
      power by farming fear.

The real fact here is SUN SPOTS. AS we enter sun cycle # 23, it has been a relatively unceremonious beginning. Believe it or not.

There are 22 recorded Sun Cycles and WE are entering number 23. Thru the end of number 22 and the beginning of number 23 – the sun was DEVOID of all sun posts. This has happened before, but not fer the length of time it was / has currently. At least not in recorded history. Over the last few weeks the Sun has picked up some activity. And, Praise the Lord, it will warm up again.

Did you know there is more argon in the atmosphere than carbon dioxide? I’m sure most knew that cause this IS Scared Monkeys and not some clap trap website where the mentally devoid gather like the Daily Kooks.

World Governments are attempting to be regulate Carbon Dioxide as simply a way to stifle commerce. It is simply an attempt to stop the free markets of the world, where free people live, from prospering and allowing the totalitarian / socialist / communist governments “breathing room” so the citizens of those countries don’t start an uproar and demand freedom themselves.

after the Fall of the Wall, most of these maniacal dictatorships saw that the peasants grow restless while watching others “eat cake” and decided to a reverse end run on the free markets of the world. In a sense, if we can beat them, lets bring their societies to a screeching halt and there will be no demands for freedom in the impoverished hovels of the world. They are able to say to the citizens – “look capitalism doesn’t work”… when in fact it has worked everywhere it has been tried since the beginning of free commerce dating to around 10,000 bc.

If this doesn’t work, there is always the Barney Franks, Chris Todds, Nancy Pelosis, Hildagard Clintons and the Man Made Messiah of the world to wreck everyone chances of a free life for the foreseeable future.

Remember – THEY KNOW BETTER AND WHAT’S BEST FOR YOU.

A man made religion called Global warming – that’s all it is. Nothing more / nothing less.

    12. Murph on December 24th, 2008 7:41 am

Right # 9 – Al Gore flys in his private Jet and lives in a house that uses 100 times the normal power. Al drives his SUV but his son does drive a Hybrid as he deals in drugs(Green drug user)Are you seeing any pattern here or you blind to this fake “Green movement A-hole”. Remember Al Gore buys Carbon Credits to offset his huge energy usage. What a fake!

    13. Michelle on December 24th, 2008 8:44 am

Global warming or not, this clown does not deserve a freakin’ nobel prize. Geesh

    14. Steve Holloway on December 24th, 2008 2:54 pm

#9 How then did the ice age happen? I guess too many camp fires.

No it was nature doing its thing. Not anything to do with man.

I’m am not saying we do not having anything at all to add, but one volcano going off is more than what we do.

    15. Cynical Synapse on December 24th, 2008 7:58 pm

Respected scientists have staked their reputations on one side or the other of the global warming theory. There is, indeed, a difference climate and weather, as #5 says. However, climatology and meteorology are as much art as science. The current weather leads me to question global warming.

As #12 said, Al Gore is a consumate carbon user. If he truly believed his global warming hype, wouldn’t he be setting a better example? If carbon dioxide is the serious green house gas, why were freon and halon (a fire extinguishing agent) banned, but there are no restrictions on dumping carbon dioxide into the atmosphere?

And, #13, you hit the nail on the head. I used to respect Nobel prizes, but now they’re cheapened.

    16. joseph on January 26th, 2009 7:00 am

Thousands of environmental scientists around the world disagree with Gore who states that co2 causes warming. They say it’s the other way around.
Warming causes increase in co2. Don’t believe it? Ask any science major. Global warming is real, just not man made. After all, half way between each ice age there’s a hot age. Our weather is cyclical.
Gore knows this. Look how much money he’s making off this scam!!!
As far as Noble Peace Prizes are concerned
if you look at who has been receiving them lately I think I smell a rat!
