Barack Obama White House Told Former Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner to Lie to American People About Social Security Adding to National Debt

TURBO TAX TIMMY SAYS OBAMA WHITE HOUSE TOLD HIM TO LIE TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE …

In his memoir ‘Stress Test’ former Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner says the Obama  White House wanted him to mislead and lie to Americans about the long term costs of Social Security on Sunday talk shows. SOUND FAMILIAR? According to Geithner, the White House communications director specifically told him not to say that Social Security contributes to the national deficit in an upcoming appearance on the Sunday morning talk shows, even though he believes it does, because it might inflame and anger the Democratic base.   What, say it isn’t so … the Obama Administration wanted their minions to lie to the American people?!?  ‘Pfeiffer said the line was a ‘dog whistle’ to the left, signaling that we [Democrats] intended to protect Social Security. Lies, lies and more lies from the Obama administration that makes everything about politics.

However, before we give Geithner any medals for his truthfulness, maybe he would like to explain why he did not resign? It is a crime what this administration has perpetrated upon the American people. If a Republican presidency had been caught in this many lies and scandals, the MSM would have drummed them out of office.

The UK Daily Mail:

The White House wanted Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner to lie on Sunday talk shows to downplay the part Social Security played in driving the deficit, it was revealed today.

Geithner writes in his memoir Stress Test, out today, that the White House communications director asked him to downplay the long term cost of Social Security spending to mollify the Democratic Party’s base.

‘I remember during one Roosevelt Room prep session before I appeared on the Sunday shows, I objected when Dan Pfeiffer wanted me to say Social Security didn’t contribute to the deficit. It wasn’t a main driver of our future deficits, but it did contribute,’ he says.

‘Pfeiffer said the line was a ‘dog whistle’ to the left, a phrase I had never heard before. He had to explain that the phrase was code to the Democratic base, signaling that we intended to protect Social Security.’

UREAL … How many more lies must the Obama administration be caught in before “We the People” disregard everything that they say?

USA Today/Pew Research Poll: Republicans Have 4 Point Lead in Generic Congressional Ballot Over Democrats, 47% to 43%

A new USA Today/Pew Research Poll … Democrats in trouble for 2014 midterm elections.

The latest USA Today/Pew survey has the GOP ahead of Democrats with a 4 point lead in the Generic Congressional ballot and other poor Obama polling has Democrats in a pickle heading into the 2014 midterm elections. The vote also appears to be a vote against Barack Obama and his policies than for him. According to the poll, 54% say that Barack Obama will not be a factor in their vote this fall; however, 26% see their vote as a vote against the president than only 16% for him.

With the midterm elections six months away, Democrats are burdened by an uneven economic recovery and a stubbornly unpopular health care law. Perhaps equally important, Barack Obama’s political standing is in some respects weaker than it was at a comparable point in the 2010 campaign, which ended with the Republicans gaining a majority in the House.

A national survey by the Pew Research Center and USA TODAY, conducted April 23-27 among 1,501 adults (including 1,162 registered voters), finds that 47% of registered voters support the Republican candidate in their district or lean Republican, while 43% favor the Democratic candidate or lean Democratic. The trend over the past six months in the so-called generic ballot shows that Democrats have lost ground. In October, Democrats held a six-point lead (49% to 43%) in midterm voting preferences.

The Weekly Standard also points out that survey shows Obamacare polling as poorly as it ever has.

More from Real Clear Politic:

Obamacare remains stubbornly unpopular. Although the legislation received positive press coverage after the national health care exchange reached its sign-up target, a majority of Americans (55 percent) still disapprove of the law and just 41 percent approve.

Economic pessimism, a persistent problem for the administration, remains strong. Nearly two-thirds of those surveyed said it is difficult to find jobs in their community. Just 27 percent of respondents said it was easy. Nearly half the country believes the economy won’t change over the next year. Twenty-four percent believe it will be worse, and 25 percent think it will improve.

The public remains divided over whether the GOP would better handle the economy, however. Forty-three percent said Republican leaders could “do more to strengthen the economy over the next few years,” and 39 percent believe the Obama administration is preferable. About 9 percent see no difference between the two.

Ralph Nader Says … Impeach Barack Obama, Congress Does Not Have the Guts to Do It & He Would Be Oppose to a Hillary Clinton Presidential Bid

Wow, even I can agree with Nader on some of these points.  Here is actually five things I agree with  political activists and 5 time presidential candidate Ralph Nader on … although maybe not all for the same reasons.  Hmm, wonder if Nader will run again in 2016 and be that outside the mainstream candidate that will potentially take votes away from a Republican or Democrat presidential candidate.

One, Barack Obama should be impeached. I think enough is enough. This president has lied, mislead, covered up and had one too many scandals to last us a century of presidents. Barack Obama is making Richard Nixon look like he is next in line to be Sainted. Republicans have been worried about photo ID to prevent voter fraud when it appears that the current occupant of the White House committed the greatest voter fraud ever perpetrated on the American people with IRS-gate and intentionally misleading Americans for political purposes with Obamacare and Benghazi-gate.

Two, the Congress does not have the guts to do it because it’s abdicated its own responsibility under the Constitution. That’s true, they are gutless, including current GOP Speaker of the House.

Three, Hillary Clinton should not run for president in 2016. This is not what America needs after what will be 8 disastrous years of Obama. Not only has she done nothing positive with her political track record, she also has much to answer to when it comes to Benghazi … but of course, what difference does it make.

Four, It would be amazing if politicians actually acted for the good of the country and not themselves and their political power. Imagine a job policy that was actually conclusive to getting people back to work and employers wanting to employ them? Imagine an energy policy that made the United States energy independent? Imagine actually proving a healthcare insurance solution to Americans that actually worked and was sustainable?

Five, Jeb Bush should not run for president in 2016. Two people are enough from one family to be president out of 350 million. America was not mean to be a monarchy, that’s what we fought a Revolutionary War to get away from. Also note to #3 above, one spouse is also enough, with regards to Hillary running as well. I think we have enough other candidates out of millions of Americans to chose from.

What if Washington politics were no longer defined by partisan gridlock but instead by a cross-party alliance that forged solutions? The alliance would be unstoppable.

That’s the premise of the new book “Unstoppable: The Emerging Left-Right Alliance to Dismantle the Corporate State” by longtime political activist and five-time presidential candidate Ralph Nader, who contends that such a left-right alliance is not just the stuff of imagination but is actually emerging.

When it comes to the current president, Nader said that Obama has violated the Constitution on several occasions and should be impeached.

“Oh, most definitely,” Nader said when asked if Congress should bring forward articles of impeachment against Obama. “The reason why Congress doesn’t want to do it is because it’s abdicated its own responsibility under the Constitution.”

Nader said the president’s use of military force in Libya has been his most “egregious violation of the Constitution.”

Sarah Palin Defends the 2nd Amendment at the NRA’s ‘Stand and Fight Rally’ … “But If You Control Arms, You Control the People and That is What They’re Trying.’

Former Alaska Governor and GOP Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin reminded the folks at the NRA’s ‘Stand and Fight Rally’ what “They’re” trying to do. Palin went on to say, “Let us learn from out Founders … remember back in the day the colonists stood in line to register their muskets. Me either, because they didn’t”. Palin also went on to hammer the Obama administration and Democrats their lack of understanding of terrorism by saying, THEY don’t know what is right. Not when that evil Muslim terrorist Maj. Hasan massacres his fellow US military soldiers at Fort Hood. His  Allahu Akbar praising jihadTHEY call that workplace violence. What calling that Devil a disgruntled employee and THEY call us the terrorists?”

Maybe one of her best lines of the night was when she mocked VP Biden when he told women before an assault fire a warning shot in the air. Palin said, “that may be fine if your rapist is a bird.” But then came the money line … “Gals you know that now a days ammo is expensive, don’t wast a bullet on a warming shot.” :-)

The Daily Mail:

Palin was a speaker at the group’s ‘Stand and Fight Rally,’ held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

The Republican former Alaska governor and 2008 vice presidential nominee’s remarks followed her criticism of of policies she said were coddling to ‘enemies that would annihilate America – they who’d obviously have information on plots to say, carry out jihad.

Palin also criticized an ‘intellectual elite in a far-distant capital’ that she said wanted Americans to abandon Revolutionary War ideals.

She also implied that the government is trying to control the people.

‘Look, if you control oil, you control an economy,’ she said. ‘If you control money, you control commerce. But if you control arms, you control the people and that is what they’re trying.’

Elsewhere in her speech, she called the idea of gun-free zones as ‘stupid on steroids’ and dismissed the idea of gun stores being linked to crime.

Milwaukee County, WI Sheriff David A Clarke Jr. Had His Own 7 Words for Former SCOTUS Justice John Paul Stevens at the NRA-ILA Leadership Conference … “Keep Your Hands Off Our Guns, Dammit.”

THIS IS A MUST WATCH VIDEO FROM A PRO-2ND AMENDMENT SHERIFF WHO IS A DEMOCRAT AND LIKES MARK LEVIN …

Sheriff David A Clarke Jr. brought down the house at the 2014 NRA – ILA  last week when he had his own 7 words for former Supreme Court Justice. Sheriff Clark responded to Justice Stevens comments where he would change the Second Amendment by adding five words in the middle: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms when serving in the militia shall not be infringed,” by saying to an ovation, “Just what part of ‘shall not be infringed’ does Justice Stevens not understand?” Sheriff Clark then said …  I would add these seven words to the Second Amendment: “Keep your hands off our guns, dammit!”

Clarke would also say during his must see speech the following:

  • “I am tired of seeing the 2nd Amendment treated like the bastard child of the Bill of Rights.”
  • “The armed citizen made America free and the armed citizen will keep America free!”
  • “This group of tyrants want to disarm us.”
  • “I call the law-abiding, armed citizen the great equalizer.”
  • “Firearms in the hands of law-abiding citizens saved people’s lives.”

The Blaze:

Clarke, the outspoken gun proponent who heads the sheriff’s office in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, was easily one of the most popular speakers during the convention’s leadership forum. His comments about amending the Constitution were aimed at former Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens, who said in his recent book that he would change the Second Amendment by adding five words in the middle: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms when serving in the militia shall not be infringed.”
