Americans No Longer Trust Their Government … 57% Fear Government Will Use NSA Data to Harass Political Opponents
Americans have lost trust in their government and believe it is a threat to their individual rights. Our rights are endowed by Our Creator, not government. Don’t ever forget what our Founding Fathers states … “That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government …”
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. What ever happened to the dream of Our Founding Fathers of a government of, by and for the People? It would appear that those days are gone as Americans now fear the very government that is supposed to be for “We the People”. The continual scandals of the Obama administration bring into play just how big, how out of control and how vindictive the federal government has become. In a recent Rasmussen poll, 57% of Americans fear the Government will use NSA data to harass political opponents. Why would they feel like that, it’s not as though the IRS willfully and purposely targeted conservative and Tea Party organizations, while they have liberal and progressive groups a free pass. Oh that’s right, they did. Forget the fact that it is most likely Unconstitutional to collect data on all Americans to use at a later date, whether it is for national security or not. The problem is that when there is a situation that can present itself for abuse, it will be compromised. We need to look no further than the IRS scandal that obviously aided Barack Obama in winning reelection by harassing and preventing his opponents from organizing. And despite the fact that Barack Obama has told us that they do not listen in on phone calls, according to another Rasmussen poll, 68% think it is likely that the government is listening to their conversations.
Making matters worse that Americans have lost trust in their government is that 56% of Americans believe that their Government is a threat to their individuals rights. How is this possible that “WE THE PEOPLE” have allowed a government to go rogue? Another 60% say it is likely other agencies targeted Conservatives as well. We have a government that is “Too Big” to succeed. What are the chances that the IRS also perpetrated their illegal acts against conservatives to help Obama and ensure that Obamacare would not be repealed along with the 16,000 news IRS jobs that go along with Obamacare? Hmm, think there is a slight conflict of interest there from the organization that was to implement and enforce Obamacare?
The United States was founded on a belief that governments are created to protect certain unalienable rights. Today, however, more voters than ever view the federal government as a threat to those rights.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 56% of Likely U.S. Voters now consider the federal government a threat to individual rights rather than a protector of those rights. That’s up 10 points from 46% in December.

Judge Jeanine Pirro just shreds the IRS, their scandal of targeting conservatives or anyone who has politican dissent against Obama and the extravagant and wasteful spending of tax payers money. Pirro then goes on her rant … “These bozo’s are not even sure how much was spent on the conference because they did not keep the receipts. And they’re sorry. There lies the double standard and hypocrisy. As Judge Jeanine opines, “Really? When was the last time the IRS told the target of an audit deducting a business expense for which there was no receipt …no record, no problem bro, we’ll over look it. And don’t tell me you can’t fire these people. Is it just too much trouble, or do they know too much? Can they point higher than themselves?”
Following that Pirro then goes on to question the NSA and FBI for their collection of all the data of Americans to supposedly protect us from terrorist. Pirro was on a roll on this one. At what point is the U.S. Constitution adhered to when it comes to the surveillance of Americans? If it is needed to collect all this data, how come you could not stop the Boston Marathon bombing? America’s trust in government is at an all-time low. Has our Constitution been so damaged that it and our America is beyond repair? This is a must see video.

Students at the University of Colorado – Boulder Sign “Thank You” Card to IRS for Targeting Conservative and Tea Party Groups
What happened to my country?
It is actually frightening that the following occurred in the United States and on a college campus to boot. Individuals actually signed a “Thank You” card to the IRS, thanking them fare targeting, harassing and slow walking the non-profit applications of Conservative and Tea Party groups. This was the brain child of Conservative pundit Caleb Bonham who said, “I was kind of hoping people would look at my card and laugh, but not endorse it.” “That was not the case.” One student said while signing the card, “I love discrimination.” WTF!!! Seriously, would this individuals like love discrimination if they were the ones targeted? Oh, that would be different of course. And who in the hell loves discrimination of any kind? So let’s get this straight, those who signed and agreed with this thank you card agree that Big Government should have the power to destroy anyone who does not agree with them? Is that what this ignoramuses actually think? Of course not because they think they should be afforded a double standard. Maybe the next question should have been if they had ever heard of the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights?
Students at the University of Colorado – Boulder (UCB) signed an enormous thank you card to the Internal Revenue Service for its apparent harassment of conservative groups during the lead-up to President Obama’s reelection.
In the viral video, posted on YouTube Tuesday, conservative pundit Caleb Bonham asked students to sign the large card that read “Thank you IRS! Tea Party Deserves it!”
“I’m asking people if they want to sign my board thanking the IRS for targeting conservative tea party and religious organizations,” Bonham explained in the video.
Sadly, this is a result of the brainwashing that today’s youth has received and a completely hateful attitude and disrespect of others. Some how they are to be afforded the rights of “Freedom of Speech” but others are not. BTW, for all those who signed the ‘Thank You” card to the IRS … thanks for your names so that when the GOP is back in power, they can have the IRS target you. According to you, its perfectly AOK.

Memorial Day 2013 – Remembering & Thanking Our Heroes For Their Service & Sacrifice Because Freedom is not Free
On this Memorial day, Scared Monkeys sends a special thank you to all of the men and woman who have sacrificed their lives to that We, the United States of America, remain free. We thank those who we can no longer thank personally for their sacrifice to this great Country. Thank you, we shall never forget you your service and sacrifice.
As we know, freedom is never free and it is our heroes of the United States Armed Forces who we all owe a debt of gratitude. Thank you for your service, sacrifice, honor and dedication to this country. So please, as you have the day off today, spend it with family and friends and celebrate the day in your own special way, take the time to remember those who gave their lives to make this day possible. These are true American heroes who should never be forgotten.
On this Memorial Day please remember to give thanks and honor those who protected this great Nation against evil and those who have laid down their lives in the ultimate sacrifice to protect our liberty and freedom. A special thank you to the men and woman of our Armed Forces who have paved the way to freedom with their lives. We thank you and your families for your service, sacrifice, honor and dedication to this country.

On a personal note I say thank you and you are missed to my uncle who is buried in Arlington National Cemetery. He served during WWII in George S. Patton’s Third Army. During his service he was a multiple Purple Heart recipient and was awarded the Bronze Star and Silver Star. What a special person this man was and a walking talking historian. He was so hesitant, like so many heroes from our “Greatest Generation” of talking about what he had experienced. My Uncle Joe enlisted as an 18 year old boy and came back from WWII a changed man, whose own mother did not even recognize. He would only talk about the war to me in his later years when he realized I was studying it in college as I was a History major. So many of his accounts of what happened just brought a tear to my eye that so many went through so much and sacrificed all. For me, other than the religious holidays of Easter and Christmas, the two most important American holidays are Memorial Day and Independence Day. Freedom truly is not free. I learned that from a man who until the day he passed away set off metal detectors in airports from the shrapnel that was in his body as a result of multiple German hand grenades. I can remember Taps being played at my uncles funeral at Arlington National Cemetery like it was just yesterday. To my uncle … Thank you from your namesake, Red.
We will never forget all of the brave acts of courage and sacrifice from all those who have served, God Bless All.
