New England College Polling Center: Republican Scott Brown Leads In NH Senate Race Over Incumbent Democrat Jeanne Shaheen

Hmm … new poll has Brown ahead of Shaheen in NH Senate race …

In the most recent poll from the New England College Polling Center,  has Republican Scott Brown leading the incumbent Democrat Jeanne Shaheen for the US Senate seat in New Hampshire, 48.0% to 46.9%. The Brown lead is within the margin of error; however, trending into the lead in the final weeks before the November midterm elections is key. Breitbart.com discusses Brown’s hammering of Shaheen on being the same as Obama and too soft on immigration, too soft on ISIS and incompetent in their Ebola response. If the polls continue to trend toward Brown, currently Shaheen has a lead, the midterm elections could get really ugly for Democrats. Sorry, but partisan Democrat tracking polls do not count. If Democrats lose the Granite state, Senate Democrats could lose up to 8 or 9 seats in a wave election.

Hey New Hampshire … What can Brown do you you?

It comes after a brutal series of political bouts between Brown and Shaheen. Brown has hammered Shaheen and President Barack Obama for being too soft on immigration, creating national security and public health risks while ISIS terrorists surge into more power in the Middle East and Ebola runs rampant through Africa and has crossed into America due to Thomas Eric Duncan—the first case diagnosed in the U.S.—allegedly lying to immigration agents to get into the U.S. when asked if he had come in contact with the disease.

Interestingly, this new poll shows Brown has actually picked up a point and a half with women voters since the previous New England College poll on Oct. 3. The previous poll showed Brown getting 41.9 percent of female voters—while the new poll shows Brown getting 43.1 percent among female voters.

That’s significant because it suggests a series of Democratic Party and Shaheen campaign attacks on Brown in the vein of the infamous 2012 “war on women” have either fallen flat or backfired.

Leave it to Joe Biden to praise a former US Senator, who had to resign in disgrace amid accusations that he had sexually harassed numerous woman over decades, at of all things a conference on woman’s issues. Way to go Joe. It is just hard to believe that this man is a heartbeat away from the presidency. Maybe that is why no one impeaches Obama, we would get crazy Joe instead. At a woman’s issues conference on Friday, Vice President Joe Biden praised former GOP Senator Bob Packwood as a different type of Republican who was willing to reach across the aisle. Biden fondly, or is in fondle, reminisced of the days of yore about Bob Packwood. RUT-ROH.   However, that is not the only thing that Packwood was willing to reach for.

Biden says, “this is not your father’s Republican party. I’m not making a moral judgement.” LOL, maybe he should have. Truth be known, The Republican party of today is more like your father’s Democrat party. As for today’s Democrats, this is not your father’s Democrat party of Harry S. Truman and John F. Kennedy, this party has lurched so far Left, they have become socialists.

Vice President Joe Biden stumbled again Friday.

Speaking at a Democratic event devoted to women’s issues, Mr. Biden made a favorable reference to former Sen. Bob Packwood, an Oregon Republican who resigned in 1995 amid accusations that he had sexually harassed women over a period of decades.

Mr. Biden mentioned Mr. Packwood — and also the late Maryland Republican Sen. Mac Mathias – as examples of GOP lawmakers willing to work across the aisle and support progressive legislation.

Today’s Republican Party, Mr. Biden said, “is a different breed of cat.”

“It was Republicans who expanded access to the polls,”  Mr. Biden said at the Democratic National Committee’s Women’s Leadership Forum on Friday.   “It was Republicans in the Judiciary Committee that did Motor Voter.  It’s Republicans that were involved.  Guys like Mac Mathias and Packwood and so many others.  It wasn’t Democrats alone.”

Democrat Delaware Governor Jack Markell inadvertently sent out an “inappropriate” photo of a woman in bondage gear yesterday on his Twitter account. The original tweet, seen below, was promoted the Governor’s announcement of a new education initiative for disadvantaged children. So education in Delaware is now Reading, Writing and Bondage?  Hmm, Democrats … How’s that war on woman going? Just curious Mr. Governor, how exactly do you even have this picture in the album, so-to speak? I guess it could have been worse, could have been a nude selfie of Anthony Weiner.

Delaware Gov. Jack Markell’s (D) office said Thursday that an “inappropriate” photo of a woman in bondage gear was accidentally sent out from the governor’s Twitter account due to an unfortunate link mix-up.

The original tweet, which promoted the governor’s announcement of a new education initiative, was accompanied by an image of a blonde woman wearing what appeared to be bondage gear and making a peace sign. The tweet was quickly deleted, but not before WHYY reporter Shirley Min caught a screen grab:

Markell later tweeted an apology to anyone who was offended by the photo, which was “inadvertently” sent out.

The Jayvee Team ISIS Demands $6.6M Ransom for 26 Year Old American Woman

ISIS is now demanding a 6.6 million ransom for a 26 year old woman from the West Coast who was kidnapped a year ago while doing humanitarian work in Syria.  The unidentified woman is one of at least three known hostages of Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS, also known as ISIL) in Syria. ISIS is demanding the $6.6 million ransom and the release of Aafia Siddiqui, who was convicted of attempting to kill U.S. officials in 2010.

A third American hostage held by ISIS has been identified as a 26-year-old American woman who was kidnapped a year ago while doing humanitarian relief work in Syria. The terror group is demanding $6.6 million and the release of U.S. prisoners for the life of the young woman, whom a representative for the family requested not be identified.

She is the third of at least four Americans who were known to be held by ISIS, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. American journalist James Foley was executed by the group in a video that appeared online last week. Another writer, Steven Sotloff, was seen alive but under duress in the same footage.

The Other McCain brings up an interesting point to ponder, is there Equal Rights for Hostages? A position of not negotiation with terrorists should really know no race, creed, religion, color or gender. If we did, terrornapping or jihadinapping of women would become common place.

The United States refused to pay a ransom for James Foley, and it would be sexist discrimination to pay ransom for a woman.

I will say this, of ISIS ever beheaded an America woman who’s only crime was doing humanitarian work, even the dithering Barack Obama would be forced to become a war-hawk as it would be pretty difficult to spew the rhetoric of the GOP war on woman and then have one beheaded by the Jayvee team.

Pregnant Sudanese Christian Woman Meriam Yehya Ibrahim Faces Death Sentence in Sudan for Converting From Islam … She Refused to Recant her Faith Declaring, “I am a Christian, and I will remain a Christian.”

27 year old Meriam Yehya Ibrahim, a wife and mother expecting another child, was sentenced to death by a Sudanese court for apostasy. The Court ruled that she is Muslim because her father was Muslim, even though she was raised Christian. The court ruled she left Islam and therefore the pregnant Meriam is subject to receive 100 lashes for adultry and then be hanged.  Before imposing this heinous sentence, the court gave her an opportunity to recant her Christian faith, but Elnabi said Ibrahim refused to do so, declaring: “I am a Christian, and I will remain a Christian.”

“We gave you three days to recant but you insist on not returning to Islam. I sentence you to be hanged,” Judge Abbas Mohammed Al-Khalifa told Mrs Ibrahim, addressing her by her father’s name, Adraf Al-Hadi Mohammed Abdullah.

Mrs Ibrahim also faces a sentence of flogging for adultery on the grounds that her marriage to a Christian man from South Sudan is considered void under Islamic law. She will be given 100 lashes. Because her father was Muslim, she was considered by the court to be the same.

Oh wait Sharia law is pro-woman after all … it prohibits the execution of pregnant women. Instead, the sentence is delayed until two years after lactation. UNREAL.

Ibrahim’s lawyer, Mohamed Jar Elnabi, said that he plans to ask an appeals court to review the sentence, and could file the request as soon as Sunday. Elnabi argues that Sudan’s constitution allows religious conversion without restriction.

On Thursday, a Khartoum court convicted Ibrahim of apostasy, or the renunciation of faith, and sentenced her to death.

Ibrahim was born to a Sudanese Muslim father and an Ethiopian Orthodox mother. Her father left when she was 6, and she was raised by her mother as a Christian.

Her lawyer, Mohamed Jar Elnabi, said the case started after Ibrahim’s brother filed a complaint against her.

The brother alleged Ibrahim had gone missing for several years and that her family was shocked to find she had married a Christian man.

Because her father was Muslim, the Sharia law court considered her to be the same. It refused to recognize her marriage to a Christian and also convicted her of adultery, with an additional sentence of 100 lashes.

The death ruling for Ibrahim drew condemnation from Western embassies in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, and international rights groups, including Amnesty International.

When are people going to comprehend that Muslim Sharia Law cares little about woman and Islam has nothing to do with freedom of religion.

“The Embassies of the United States of American, the United Kingdom, Canada and the Netherlands in Khartoum express their deep concern over the apostasy ruling handed down on Sunday in the trial of Meriam Yahia Ibhrahim Ishag,” said a statement posted on the website of the U.S. Embassy in Khartoum.

“We call upon the Government of Sudan to respect the right to freedom of religion, including one’s right to change one’s faith or beliefs, a right which is enshrined in international human rights law as well as in Sudan’s own 2005 Interim Constitution,” the statement added.

Background of this atrocity … Her own brother ratted her out, who filed a complaint against her, alleging that she had gone missing for several years and that her family was shocked to find she had married a Christian man.

Amnesty International said Ibrahim was arrested and charged with adultery in August 2013 after a family member reportedly claimed that she was committing adultery because of her marriage to a Christian South Sudanese man.

Under Sudan’s Islamic Shari’a law, a Muslim woman is not permitted to marry a non-Muslim man, thus any such marriage is considered to be adultery. The court later added the charge of apostasy when Ibrahim asserted that she was a Christian and not a Muslim.
