Arizona Gun Store’s Sign Declares “If you voted for Barack Obama your business is not welcome” … “You have proven you are not responsible enough to own a firearm.”

Well, if the shoe gun fits, wear it, or not in this case.

As reported at CNS News, Cope Reynolds, the owner of Southwest Shooting Authority, a gun store located in Pinetop, Arizona, posted a sign in the window stating that if you were an Obama supporter, he did not want your business. Not only did he buy an ad in  a local newspaper that read: “If you voted for Barack Obama your business is not welcome.” He also posted a sign in his store window that said, ”If you voted for Obama, please turn around and leave! You have proven you are not responsible enough to own a firearm.” And? Reynold’s might have a point when it comes to the responsibility issue. Obviously, it would be impossible to enforce and it was meant to be more of a political statement.

It was reported over the weekend that the owner of a gun store in Arizona is telling Pres. Obama’s supporters he doesn’t want their business.

Cope Reynolds, the owner of Southwest Shooting Authority, a gun store located in Pinetop, Arizona, took out a full page ad in a local newspaper that read: “If you voted for Barack Obama your business is not welcome.”

The New York Daily News reports that Mr. Reynolds also posted a sign on the store’s front door:

“If you voted for Obama, please turn around and leave! You have proven you are not responsible enough to own a firearm.”

I am sure it will not be long before some one calls him a racist.

14 Year Old Phoenix Boy Shoots Armed Intruder While Watching His 3 Younger Siblings … Why We Have a Second Amendment

If there was ever a reason why we have a Second Amendment and a Right to Bear Arms, one needs to look no further than the following story.

A 14 year old Phoenix, AZ boy shot an intruder who had broke into his home as the boy was looking out for three siblings, ages 12, 10 and 8. The 37 year old home invader was carrying a gun was shot and is in critical condition, but expected to live. What a brave act on the part of this 14 year old boy. Look what happens when law abiding citizens are allowed to carry guns.

The teen and his brothers and sisters were at home alone at their residence at 55th Avenue and Baseline when a woman rang the doorbell Friday. The teen didn’t open the door because he didn’t recognize her, Police Officer James Holmes said Saturday.

Soon after, the teen heard a bang on the door, rushed his siblings upstairs and got a handgun from his parent’s bedroom. When he got to the top of the stairs, he saw a man breaking through the front door and point a gun at him.

The boy shot the 37-year-old man, who is in critical condition but expected to survive and be booked into jail.

Comments Police Officer James Holmes:

Holmes hailed the teen’s actions and his parents for teaching the kids to never open the door to strangers.

“The police and indeed our community does not ever want to see a situation where a teenager of that age has to take a weapon to protect his family … but this young man did exactly what he should have done,” he said. “I’m not sure he gave full thought about what he had to do. He just acted.”

Oklahoma Mom Sarah Dawn McKinley Calls 911 & Asks Operator for Permission to Shoot Intruders

Why we have the Second Amendment … SCARED MONKEYS HERO OF THE DAY

Sarah Dawn McKinley, an 18 year old widow, called 911 and asked the operator if she could shoot an intruder entering her home. Although the operator did not say yes, she did say do what ever you need to do to protect yourself and your baby. The also said that she could not shoot until they broke into the home. The end result … she shot Justin Shane Martin dead with her 12-gauge shot gun. Police called the shooting, “justified”. I’ll say. Thank God for the “Castle” doctrine.

Don’t mess with a momma bear and her cub.

From CNN

Home alone with her 3-month-old son, Sarah Dawn McKinley of Blanchard, Oklahoma, said she decided to make a stand when two men tried to break into her home on New Year’s Eve.

McKinley, who had been widowed less than a week before, placed a couch in front of one door and went to the bedroom and put a bottle in her baby’s mouth before calling 911, she said on HLN’s “Dr. Drew” on Wednesday.

A 911 operator calmly spoke with McKinley, who asked if it was permissible to shoot an intruder, officials said.

“I’ve got two guns in my hand. Is it OK to shoot him if he comes in this door?” asked McKinley, 18.

“Well, you have to do whatever you can do to protect yourself,” dispatcher Diane Graham responded. “I can’t tell you that you can do that, but you do what you have to do to protect your baby.”

These two men actually stalked and attacked this 18 year old widow whose husband died Christmas Day of cancer. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Sarah McKinley says that a week earlier a man named Justin Martin dropped by on the day of her husband’s funeral, claiming that he was a neighbor who wanted to say hello. The 18-year-old Oklahoma City area woman did not let him into her home that day.

On New Year’s Eve Martin returned with another man, Dustin Stewart, and this time was armed with a 12-inch hunting knife. The two soon began trying to break into McKinley’s home.

Pennsylvania Gov. Edward Rendell Calls for Early Detection System for Mentally Ill to Prevent purchasing Firearms

During the Sunday talk show, CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Pennsylvania governor Ed Rendell called for an “early detection system” designed to keep mentally unstable individuals from buying guns. So we are going to arbitrarily commit people to mental institutions who we perceive as mentally unstable? Really? Who makes that deceision and where to start. Rendell might want to start with 3/4th of those that post on Left-wing moonbat websites. As Weasel Zippers stated, “Does he realize that under this system liberals won’t be able to buy guns?”

Rendell might want to start with these folks from a moonbat march

Two high-profile politicians today called for sweeping reforms to the nation’s mental health system that would prevent individuals deemed ill from legally purchasing firearms.

Had numerous concerns about alleged gunman Jared Lee Loughner’s mental status placed him on a list restricting his ability to buy a gun, his Jan. 8 rampage might have been prevented, said former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, a Republican, and Pennsylvania Gov. Edward Rendell, a Democrat.

During a “Face the Nation” appearance, Rendell called for an “early detection system” designed to keep mentally unstable individuals from buying guns.

Giuliani said among the problems that led to the shooting spree, which left six dead and 19 injured, is the nation’s “inability to deal with mental illness.” He urged policy “adjustments” that balance things like an individual’s constitutional right to own firearms with keeping guns out of the hands of unstable people.

Wonder where the ACLU would stand on this one, the guns or the mentally unstable?
