Hollywood Liberal Nut Danny Glover Says Second Amendment was Created to Prevent Slave Revolts and Indian Uprisings … So Much for Tyranny

So much for colleges being institutions of higher education. These days they have simply become a vehicle for the far Left liberal brainwashing agenda.  This week, far left actor Danny Glover told Texas A&M students that the Second Amendment was created to prevent slave revolts and Indian uprisings. Really? So much for it being from the fact that the United States of America just fought a war against an Imperial, totalitarian king. So much for the fact that Our Founding Fathers set up a “Bill of Rights” to protect its citizens from the very government that was put in place. The Second Amendment was created to prevent a US government from taking away our liberties and protect us from government tyranny. I guess one can say that Glover’s reasoning for the First Amendment must be to give him the right to sound like a race-baiting fool.

The Constitution’s Second Amendment was created to bolster slavery and capture land from Native Americans, award winning actor Danny Glover told a group of students at a Texas A&M sponsored event on Thursday.

“I don’t know if you know the genesis of the right to bear arms,” he said. “The Second Amendment comes from the right to protect themselves from slave revolts, and from uprisings by Native Americans.”

“A revolt from people who were stolen from their land or revolt from people whose land was stolen from, that’s what the genesis of the second amendment is,” he continued.

Glover, best known for roles in the “Lethal Weapon” franchise and “Angels in the Outfield,” was addressing students at an event being held in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Director of Texas A&M’s Memorial Student Center, Luke Altendorf, told Campus Reform on Friday that the university was unaware of Glover’ talking points prior to his speech.Each and every amendment in the

America, you might want to take a real good look at this and think for once, rather than being fed a lie from your government and the corrupt media complex. The Bill of Rights is important in it’s entirety as it protect “We the People” from the government put in place to govern the United States. However, the Second Amendment is the most important because it guarantees that the others will not be taken away. GUNS ACROSS AMERICA … NASHVILLE, TN

Today at the state capital in Nashville, TN close to 1,000 people have gathered on the Legislative Plaza across from the Capitol building in to show their support for 2nd Amendment US Constitution gun rights. The “Guns Across America” rallies were being held in state capitols across the United States as gun advocates and supporters of the 2nd Amendment used their First Amendment rights to voice their outrage over President Barack Obama’s imperial actions by passing 23 executive orders pertaining to gun control. From Albany, New York to Austin,TX and from Madison, WI to Little Rock, AR, gun supporters made their voices heard that the answer to gun violence was not to take away an individuals right to bear arms and protect themselves. Many supporters in the crowd carried signs in support of their Constitutional rights to bear arms and waived United States and “Don’t Tread on Me” flags.

The speakers today in Nashville, TN spoke as one stating that the answer to gun violence was not to blame the guns, but blame the criminals who committed the crimes. How are free, law abiding Americans supposed to protect themselves if guns are taken away from them? Forget the fact that it is our God given right to bear arms.

One of the speakers today was Republican State Rep. Joe Carr of Lascassas who told the roaring 2nd Amendment crowd that “any assault on the Second Amendment is an attack on any amendment.” He also discussed his legislation that would make it a crime for … Carr has introduced a bill, H.B. 0042, that would slap federal officials with a misdemeanor charge for enforcing the new proposals.

This bill prohibits any public employee, public official, or firearms dealer from enforcing or attempting to enforce any federal law, statute, rule, regulation, or executive order implemented or executed on or after January 1, 2013, within the borders of Tennessee if the law, statute, rule, regulation, or executive order attempts to:

(1) Ban or restrict ownership of a semi automatic firearm, firearm accessory, or ammunition; or  (2) Require any firearm, firearm accessory, or ammunition to be registered in any manner.

Under this bill, any federal agent or employee enforces or attempts to enforce any federal law, statute, rule, regulation, or executive order as described in (1) and (2) upon a firearm, a firearm accessory, or ammunition that is owned or manufactured commercially or privately in this state and that remains exclusively within the borders of this state will be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor, punishable by up to 11 months and 29 days incarceration and a fine of up to $2,500.

This bill requires the attorney general to defend a citizen of Tennessee who is prosecuted by the federal government for a violation of federal law, statute, rule, regulation, or executive order as described in (1) and (2).

Thousands of gun advocates gathered peacefully Saturday at state capitals around the U.S. to rally against stricter limits on firearms, with demonstrators carrying rifles and pistols in some places while those elsewhere settled for waving hand-scrawled signs or screaming themselves hoarse.

The size of crowds at each location varied – from dozens of people in South Dakota to 2,000 in New York. Large crowds also turned out in Connecticut, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Washington state.

During a press conference yesterday on gun safety control, Vice President Joe Biden stated that President Barack Obama is going to act and is considering “executive order” to grab the guns. UNBELIEVABLE! So the Imperial dictator Obama is going to bypass the US Constitution, the Second Amendment and the Congress to pass an “executive order” to make laws that restrict law abiding citizens? Yup, that’s what you reelected America, I really hope you are proud.

“The president is going to act,” said Biden, giving some comments to the press before a meeting with victims of gun violence. “There are executives orders, there’s executive action that can be taken. We haven’t decided what that is yet. But we’re compiling it all with the help of the attorney general and the rest of the cabinet members as well as legislative action that we believe is required.”

Is this what we are after America, a President who thinks he is king who when he does not get his way he just bypasses the process that Our Founders set up to prevent the United States from being ruled by a dictator?  OUR FOUNDING FATHERS are rolling over in their collective graves.

UPDATE I: Google searches on ‘Hitler gun control’ spike as liberals attempt gun grab and bypass the 2nd Amendment.

In December the keywords “Hitler gun control” spiked to a 100 rating – the rating given to Google’s peak search volume since 2004.

Search volume for the same terms for the month of January so far is at 86 – a statistic based on partial data for the month.

“Hitler” and “Guns” showed a 100 rating and a 99 rating for the month of January.

Both series of search terms are described as “Breakout” by the Google Trends site.

CNN’s Don Lemon Anti-Gun Activist Discusses Gun Control … Should We Start Profiling White Men? What About Profiling those with Mental Issues, Hmm?

Isn’t it amazing that the liberal media thinks its perfectly ok to take away law-abiding citizens rights when it comes to gun ownership and racially profile white men. Yet, its evil to racially profile blacks, illegals and terrorists. It is truly sick that the MSM would use such a tragedy like the mass murder of children as Sandy Hook Elementary School for their liberal agenda.

CNN’s discussion on gun control, not that we should be racially profiling white men, but why aren’t we racially profiling white men? It is simply amazing just have selectively, racially biased liberals are. They are all for racially profiling white men when it comes to mass shootings, but hell no when it comes to Muslims and blacks. In those cases, it would just be wrong and a violation of their civil rights. I wonder who Lemon feels about First Amendment Rights of free speech on pornography or the burning of the American flag? I wonder if he wouldn’t mind his “freedom of the press” taken away from those in the MSM who lie, misrepresent and knowingly defend a president who is not doing the will of ‘We the People”?

From NewsBusters, CNN anchor Don Lemon previously went on an anti-gun rant and called for an assault weapons ban. Lemon is only the latest CNN anchor to abandon journalistic standards and act as an activist instead pushing for gun control. Lemon went on to rant that mental health needs to be discussed, but that is a secondary issues to guns. ARE YOU ON CRACK? Obviously the CNN anchor has never done root-cause analysis in his life. Mental health is hardly the secondary issue, it is actually the primary one.

DON LEMON: Listen. For the past three days, I have been on the verge of tears every second and most of the people here have been crying 24 hours straight. Yeah – yes, we need to address mental health, but mental health in this particular issue, let’s not get it twisted, is a secondary issue. If someone who has a mental issue did not have access to guns that should only be available in war zones, we would not be dealing with this.

A note to the clueless, anti-gun, anti-Second Amendment LEFT, the 2nd Amendment of the United States Constitution states a “right to bear arms”, not a right to hunt. And from this Leftist, pro-totalitarian state Lib comes the ranting’s that even law-abiding citizens should have their rights taken away. UNREAL.

Who needs an armor-piercing bullet to go hunting? Who needs an assault rifle to go hunting? You can’t even use the prey that you kill with an assault rifle if you indeed do it. No one needs an assault rifle to go out and shoot a deer. No one needs an assault rifle that’s capable of shooting 10, 20, 30 rounds off at the same time to shoot a duck, or to shoot quail. It does not make sense. Our first – the first thing that we need to do – and according to everyone that is here, even gun enthusiasts, is talk about what we’re doing with assault rifles, why should guns that should only be available in war zones, why are they available to people who are mentally healthy and people who are not mentally healthy. That’s the issue that we need to deal with.

NBC’s Bob Costas Parrots Liberal Talking Points and Anti-Gun Agenda in Wake of Kansas City Chiefs Jovan Belcher’s Murder/Suicide

Way to go Bob Costas, without any facts, you blame guns for the suicide of Jovan Belcher and the murder of his girlfriend Kasandra Perkins. What investigative journalism Bob. How sad that Costas and NBC would use this tragedy to promote their anti-gun agenda.

A note to Bob Costas, shut up and talk about something you actually know about. During NBC’s Sunday Night Football game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles, Costas decided to spew the liberal anti-gun, anti-Second Amendment agenda against guns. It appears that others have open letters to Bob Costas as well.  What was more unfortunate, the fact that Costas thought he was on MSNBC cable and agreed with a liberal KC columnists that guns are to blame for all the evils of society or the fact that Costas was completely clueless and ignorant on the subject of domestic violence?

Bob Costas parroted Jason Whitlock’s ignorant comment that, ”If Jovan Belcher didn’t possess a gun, he and Kasandra Perkins would both be alive today.” Really Bob? If you actually believe this, which you must because you made the comment, you know little to nothing about domestic violence. You might want to research the topic before you use it as a vehicle for your anti-gun agenda.

Sadly “Domestic violence” occurs every day and woman and men are beaten and killed by methods other than guns. Victims of domestic violence have been killed by strangulation, beaten with bats, butchered with axes and hatchets and stabbed with knives.  As for methods of suicide, overdosing, cutting one’s wrists, carbon monoxide posing, hanging and driving one’s car off a bridge, into a bridge abutment or on coming traffic are just a few examples that come to mind. But its only guns that kill. What an IDIOT!

In the wake of Costas’ anti-gun comments he is taking lost of criticism and rightly so. For such a little and small minded man Costas finds himself in a fire storm of his own making. Looks like the diminutive Costas is backtracking big time on his comments. This tends to happen when one makes a stupid and knee-jerk reaction comment about something that one knows nothing about.

6:27PM EST December 3. 2012 – NBC’s Bob Costas, communicating through a spokesman Monday about on-air comments about guns he made Sunday night, “feels an unfortunate leap was taken that he was advocating taking away Second Amendment rights. He was not.”

An NBC spokesman stated that Costas is “in favor of people owning guns to hunt and carrying them in reasonably controlled circumstances.” WHO GIVES A S#@T what Costas is in favor of. The Second Amendment of the US Constitution does not provide a right to hunt. It does not provide a right to own a gun according to Bob Costas.

Just curious Bob, how come you did not mention that maybe having children out of wedlock and marrying the woman who has your child rather than playing the field was not the cause of the murder-suicide? I guess that would not fit the liberal talking points, now would it? Watch Greg Gutfeld blasts ‘ghoulish’ Bob Costas, ‘bigot’ Jason Whitlock at The Daily Caller.

“If it was a deadly flood, it would be the same saying we need to ban water,” Gutfeld said. “Here is the problem — there is no law that actually could have stopped him owning a gun. So what is Costas saying? He is talking about a total gun ban, which makes him a hypocritical buffoon, because he spends most of his life wandering in and out of the New York buildings where he is flanked by people who are armed.”

“He is a sanctimonious ghoul, because whenever something like this comes up, he has to come up. It’s ‘pay attention to me.’ It really wasn’t about the tragedy. It’s about scoring points with other people in media,” Gutfeld added.

Note to self,  if I am ever in Bob Costas’ presence and a crime is being committed that I will not protect him with the use of my conceal carry gun permit.
