Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) on Obama Politicizing Newtown, CT Shoooting … Mr. President “Call Me If Any of Your Reforms Would Have Saved Those Kids at Sandy Hook”

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) discusses Barack Obama’s gun control stump speech and his politicization of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings that killed 26 individuals. However, as Senator Paul stated, nothing of what Barack Obama is calling for would have prevented the murders at Sandy Hook. Far be it from Obama not to let an exploitable situation go to waste to further his anti-Second Amendment gun grabbing agenda.

“I think it’s a mistake for either side to politicize this. The president uses them as a backdrop and drama for getting some kind of political will. But, my question to the president is, ‘Call me if any of your reforms would have saved those kids at Sandy Hook.” If anything he’s proposing would have changed the outcome I’ll listen to him.”

NRA’s Wayne LaPierre Blasts Nanny Mayor Bloomberg on Guns, Calls Him “Insane” And “Reckless” On NBC’s ‘Meet the Press’ … “He Can’t Buy America”

The NRA has gained the advantage over Obama, Feinstein and gun grabbing Democrats the longer “We  the People” have to think about the issue and use common sense thinking as opposed to the  knee-jerk, emotional, exploitative Democrat agenda following the Newtown, CT shooting.

This morning on NBC’s ‘Meet the Press’,the NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre  responded to and blasted the political opinions of the 1% New York City Nanny Mayor Michael Bloomberg. LaPierre told host David Gregory that he thinks Bloomberg is ‘reckless’ and he [Bloomberg] can’t spend enough of his $27 billion to try to impose his will on the American public. Bloomberg had previously announced that he will spend $12 million of his fortune to run anti-gun ads around the country. Where is the MSM demonizing the rich, 1% NYC Mayor for trying to buy his position?  As the Lonely Conservative aptly stated, Make no mistake about it America, Bloomberg is hardly a fan of the Second Amendment and any thing that says he is could not be farther from the truth. Bloomberg will take away your guns the same way he took away your salt and attempted to take away your large sodas.  Wayne LaPierre stated it beautifully, “he can’t buy America.”

The man behind the advertisement is not known for his kinship with the gun crowd: Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, the nation’s fiercest advocate of restrictions on firearms since the December rampage at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.

From Mediaite:

NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre  lashed out at a wide range of the political opinions held by New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg on NBC’s Meet The Press this morning. LaPierre told host David Gregory that he thinks Bloomberg is ‘reckless’ and that he won’t beat the NRA because of its grassroots support.

“He’s going to find out this is a country of the people, by the people, and for the people. And he can’t spend enough of his $27 billion to try to impose his will on the American public. They don’t want him in their restaurants, they don’t want him in their homes, they don’t want him telling what food to eat, they sure don’t want him telling what self-defense firearms to own and he can’t buy America,” said LaPierre.

Bloomberg announced last night that he will spend $12 million of his fortune to run anti-gun ads around the country. LaPierre told Gregory that the NRA is not intimidated by these plans because of their vast grassroots and small donor support from around the country. “We have people all over, millions of people, sending us 5, 10, 15, 20 dollar checks telling us to stand up to this guy that says that we can only have three bullets, which is what he said. Stand up to this guy that says ridiculous things like, ‘The NRA wants firearms with nukes on them.’ I mean it’s insane the stuff he says,” LaPierre said.

Senator Dianne Feinstein’s Gun Ban Shot Down By Harry Reid, Vows She is Not Done Yet … “I’m Not Going To Lay Down And Play Dead”

Senator Dianne Feinstein’s (D-CA) anti-Second Amendment gun bill shot down by fellow Democrat Senator Harry Reid.

Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has gutted the gun control (anti-Second Amendment Democrat gun grab). As it turns out, the controversial assault weapons ban will not be part of a Democratic gun bill next month. As reported at The Washington Times, Sen. Dianne Feinstein emerged from a closed-door meeting with Majority Leader Harry Reid on Monday,  but her ban on assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition magazines didn’t. Reid turned down her attempt to bring her ban on 157 different weapons and ammunition clips aboard the Democratic Party’s comprehensive gun bill, Politico reported. The eventual bill that will come up fro a vote will resemble little of what Barack Obama had demanded after trying to exploit the 26 murders at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT.

Dianne Feinstein claims … I’m Not Going To Lay Down And Play Dead” … What a sick and poor choice of words.

The gun control bill headed for the Senate floor bears little resemblance to the far-reaching proposal President Obama unveiled after the deadly shooting in Newtown, Conn.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has decided the federal assault weapons ban will not be a part of the base bill and warned Tuesday an expansion of background checks to cover private sales might not make the cut, either. [...]

Reid said the assault weapons ban sponsored by Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), which faces staunch opposition from the gun rights group, could have sunk the entire legislative effort.

“Right now, her amendment, using the most optimistic numbers, has less than 40 votes. That’s not 60. I have to get something on the floor so we can have votes on that issue and the other issues that I’ve talked about. That’s what I’m going to try to do,” Reid told reporters Tuesday. Reid has previously opposed the assault weapons ban.

Obviously Harry Reid realized that the so-called assault weapons ban had little chance of passing the US Senate, especially after DI-FI was schooled by Sen. Cruz when Feinstein claims she was not a 6th grader. Out apologies to 6th graders everywhere. Feinstein claims that Reid promised her a separate vote. This loon actually thinks that this bill would pass on its own. Even Reid wants no part of it in a gun safety bill.

Oh the Hypocrisy … Gabby Giffords’ Husband Mark Kelly Testifies Against Assault Weapons Then Gets Caught Buying an AR-15

THE LEFT JUST CANNOT HELP THEIR HYPOCRISY …

Former US Rep. Gabby Giffords (D-AZ), a victim of the Tucson, AZ  mass shooting in 2011, and her husband, Mark Kelly, testified in January 2013 before Congress on gun control. The two gun control proponents and so called champions of the Second Amendment used anti-assault weapons rhetoric to have our liberties taken away at the rational of using responsibility. Hmm, just curious Mr. Kelly, what killer or crazy person uses responsibility? Mark Kelly then went on the talk shows to spew his anti-assault weapons mantra.

“Have turned every single corner of our society into places of carnage and gross human loss.”

Look who just got busted buying one of the evil AR-15′s!

From Breitbart.com:

Mark E. Kelly, gun-control proponent and husband to former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, recently purchased an AR-15 (an “assault weapon,” he called it)—which he now says he intended as an illustration of the need for more stringent gun laws.

Kelly reportedly bought the AR-15 and a 1911-style semi-automatic pistol at a gun store in Tucson, Arizona.

Breitbart News received a tip on this when Neil McCabe, editor of Guns & Patriots newsletter, contacted us on March 7 and said:

Mark E. Kelly, made purchases which included an AR-15–sometimes described as an “assault rifle”–at 3:30 pm on the afternoon of March 5 at Diamondback Police Supply, 170 S. Kolb Street, Tucson, AZ.

According to McCabe, witnesses to the purchases claimed Kelly purchased “high capacity” magazines as well.

After having been found out, suddenly, Kelly announced on his Facebook page that he was not going to keep the AR-15, which he has yet to pick up from the store.  BUSTED!!!

South Dakota First State in US to Allow Teachers to Carry Guns in School to Protect Children

Finally, a law that actually allows for the protection of school children … Reading, Writing and Revolvers.

South Dakota has become the first state in the Nation to enact a law explicitly authorizing school employees to carry guns on the job. The bill was signed into law on Friday by Gov. Dennis Daugaard. The law is in response to the call to arms to protect school children following the Newtown, CT Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting that left 20 dead. What better way to protect innocent children from the Adam Lanza’s of the world than taking away ”gun free zones”. As the Right Wing News opines, such places are considered easy pickings by those crazoids who are hell bent on mass murder and taking out as many as possible before they take their own life.  This law specifically authorizes teachers to possess a firearm in a K-12 school. Protecting children in schools is not about taking law-abiding citizens Second Amendment rights away, it’s about a show of force against those that would cause harm to innocents. Why would a crazed killer attack a school, a movie theater or a mall, because they are gun free zones. Create a barrier or perception that they are not gun free and a cowardly killer would think twice. That, or they will be gunned down before too much damage is done.

South Dakota became the first state in the nation to enact a law explicitly authorizing school employees to carry guns on the job, under a measure signed into law on Friday by Gov. Dennis Daugaard. Several other states already have provisions in their laws — or no legal restrictions — that make it possible for teachers to possess guns in the classroom. In fact, a handful of school districts nationwide do have teachers who carry firearms. But South Dakota is the only known state with a statute that specifically authorizes teachers to possess a firearm in a K-12 school, according to Lauren Heintz, a research analyst at the National Conference of State Legislatures.

Representative Scott Craig, a freshman Republican in the South Dakota House who sponsored the bill, said he hoped the measure would shift the country’s discourse on school safety.

“Given the national attention to safety in schools, specifically in response to tragedies like in Connecticut, this is huge,” he said. He added that, hopefully, “dominoes will start to fall, people will see it’s reasonable, it’s safer than they think, it’s proactive and it’s preventive.”

So Punks, do ya feel lucky trying to target a school in South Dakota?
