Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) Wows Them at NRA Convention in Nashville, TN … “Our Country is in Crisis … The Answer is Not Going to Come from Washington, It’s Going to Come from You”

THE NRA HAS INVADED NASHVILLE, TN … Welcome NRA, its members and all pro-Second Amendment supporters!!!

Maybe there was no greater comment made last night by Sen. Ted Cruz than the following, “Our country is in crisis yet we’re gonna pull back and change the path we’re on, but the answer is not going to come from Washington, it’s going to come from you!!!”

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) spoke to the NRA faithfully in Nashville, Tennessee at their Annual Meeting last night and began his speech with … GOD BLESS THE NRA. Cruz mocked Hillary Clinton and her email issues, praised the fact that the victims of the Fort Hood shooting victims finally got their Purple Hearts after 5 years, against the objection of the Obama administration.  Cruz went on to say, “It is a time for truth you cannot win a war on radical Islamic terrorism with the president who is unwilling to utter the words radical Islamic terrorist.”

Instead of a president who boycotts Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, imagine America’s standing unapologetically with the nation of Israel.  Imagine a commander in chief standing up with clarity and saying we will defeat radical Islamic terrorists. And under no circumstances will the nation of Iran be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons. Some weeks ago I join with 46 other senators signing a letter that we sent to Iran explaining that under the United States Constitution there are only two way something becomes a law, either it is a treaty ratified by two-thirds of the Senate or a law passed by both houses of Congress signed by the president. Well the Obama White House went a little hysterical about that letter.

Ted Cruz further went on to say to the folks in attendance, “you know we’re at a time a crisis. Here at home millions of people are hurting as the economies in stagnation. Abroad the Obama-Clinton foreign policy a leading from behind does not work. And d we’re saying an unprecedented threat to our liberties each and ever day from the Federal government,” but he said he was inspired by the words, deeds and actions of the NRA membership because they fight for their Constitutional rights.

Ted Cruz Wows them in Nashville, Tells NRA: I’ve fought the conservative battles:

Sen. Ted Cruz, one of two declared Republican candidates for president, told National Rifle Association members in Nashville that he’s fought the conservative battles, unlike his opponents.

“In a Republican primary, every candidate’s going to stand up and say, ‘I oppose Obamacare,’ ” Cruz said at the NRA’s annual meeting Friday. “The question we ought to ask is, ‘Great, when have you stood up and fought Obamacare?’ “

“Every candidate is going to say they don’t support amnesty. Alright, great. When have you stood up and fought to stop the president’s illegal and unconstitutional executive action?”

Ted Cruz then thanked the NRA for standing up to the liberal Democrat and Barack Obama’s knee-jerk reaction to the tragic Sandy Hook shooting massacre in Connecticut. Cruz said he was proud to stand with his friends Sens. Mike Lee and Rand Paul:

You know we all remember two years ago the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook. Every one of us whose parents it was heartbreaking to see those little children murdered by that lunatic and yet we also remember the president’s response.  President Obama had an opportunity then he could have tried to bring people together in a bipartisan manner to say let’s go after violent felons let’s go after criminals let’s protect our kids and stop the bad guys. But instead he used as an excuse to try to come after the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens.  I gotta tell you in the weeks and months that followed Sandy Hook, if you guys were sitting in the Senate Republican lunch, you would have jumped out the window. Because the Senate was there was this is unstoppable this is a freight train it can’t be stopped let’s get out of the way and I’ll tell you I was proud to stand with my friends Mike Lee and Rand Paul in sending an sending a very short two sentence letter to Harry Reid that we said we will filibuster any legislation that undermines the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.

What happened next is that it slowed the liberal Democrat anti-Second Amendment train down and shed the light as to what was happening and that Democrats were trying to take political advantage of a terrible and tragic incident. That is when citizen action took place.

And that’s when the men and women in this room began to take over. In the weeks that followed each if you and millions of Americans lit up the phones. It started with three of us by the end to the next week we were up to 17 senators on the letter. Then we had our first vote we needed to get to 41, we only got to 31. And all our friends in the media said up, you failed you only got to 31. But like any meaningful military conflict it’s rarely one on the first skirmish. That 31 was a whip count and suddenly each of you knew every senator that had voted against the Second Amendment and heaven on earth descended on those senators. And thanks to the passionate leadership of the men and women in this room when it came to the senate floor every single wanna President Obama’s proposals to undermine the Second Amendment was voted down on the Senate floor.

Barack Obama to Ban AR-15 Bullets By Executive Action … Attempts a Back-Door Gun Ban & Assault on 2nd Amendment

SHOCKER, OBAMA GOING BACK ON PROMISE NOT TO TAKE GUNS AND IS USING EXECUTIVE ACTION ATTEMPTING TO DO A BACK DOOR GUN BAN …

As reported at The Washington Times, Barack Obama is using executive actions to impose gun control on the law abiding citizens of the United States. The imperial president is targeting the top-selling rifle in the country, the AR-15,  with a ban on one of the most-used AR bullets by sportsmen and target shooters, 5.56 mm ammunition. Unbelievable. Obama was unable to ban the AR-15 and other similar semi-automatic rifles he seemed to scary through the legislative process, so instead he will once again circumvent the US Constitution and the Second Amendment to enact his “kingly” wishes. At issue is the inexpensive 5.56 M855 ammo, commonly called lightgreen tips, that have been exempt for years, as have higher-caliber ammunition that also easily pierces the type of soft armor worn by police. The BATFE says that since the bullets can be used in semi-automatic handguns they pose a threat to police and must be banned from production, sale and use. However, the BATFE could offer no proof that this ammo is used as such and any officers from any agency have been the victims of their claims.

As promised, President Obama is using executive actions to impose gun control on the nation, targeting the top-selling rifle in the country, the AR-15 style semi-automatic, with a ban on one of the most-used AR bullets by sportsmen and target shooters.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives this month revealed that it is proposing to put the ban on 5.56 mm ammo on a fast track, immediately driving up the price of the bullets and prompting retailers, including the huge outdoors company Cabela’s, to urge sportsmen to urge Congress to stop the president.

Wednesday night, Rep. Bob Goodlatte, the Republican chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, stepped in with a critical letter to the bureau demanding it explain the surprise and abrupt bullet ban. The letter is shown below.

The National Rifle Association, which is working with Goodlatte to gather co-signers, told Secrets that30 House members have already co-signed the letter and Goodlatte and the NRA are hoping to get a total of 100 fast.

“The Obama administration was unable to ban America’s most popular sporting rifle through the legislative process, so now it’s trying to ban commonly owned and used ammunition through regulation,” said Chris W. Cox, executive director of the NRA-ILA, the group’s policy and lobby shop. “The NRA and our tens of millions of supporters across the country will fight to stop President Obama’s latest attack on our Second Amendment freedoms.”

At issue is so-called “armor-piercing” ammunition, an exemption for those bullets mostly used for sport by AR-15 owners, and the recent popularity of pistol-style ARs that use the ammo.

We are writing to express our serious concern with the “ATF Framework for Determining Whether
Certain Projectiles are ‘Primarily Intended for Sporting Purposes’ Within the Meaning of 18 U.S.C.
921(a)(17)(C),” issued on February 13, 2015.

The proposed “Framework” purports to establish an “objective” test for determining whether certain
projectiles otherwise considered “armor piercing” under federal law qualify for an exemption allowing
them to be lawfully manufactured, imported, and sold on the civilian market in the United States.

VP Joe Biden Makes Disparaging Comment on CNN … ‘Tea Baggers’ Preventing New Gun-Control Laws

How about enforcing the gun laws that already are on the books before you start making more?

According to Vice President Joe Biden on CNN, the NRA and Tea Party patriots are responsible for upholding the Second Amendment and preventing an overreaching and imperial government from passing new laws that would take away “We the People’s” right to bear arms. Of course Biden said it in a much more disgusting and disparaging manner. Who knew that it was “Teabaggers”, individuals  who slaps another person in the face with their nad sack, that were responsible for preventing new gun control laws. Nice, eh? But what else would be expect from this vile, divisive Obama presidency?

Vice president Joe Biden has disparaged gun-rights advocates as “tea baggers,” CNN host John Walsh told reporters today. Walsh, the former host of America’s Most Wanted, recounted that he bonded with Biden over the need for more gun control and their distaste for the National Rifle Association..

“I said to Joe Biden, ‘90 percent of Americans are for a responsible background check for a gun, and you know what this Congress has done? Not voted on it, not brought it to the floor, not introduced a bill,’” he recalled to reporters during an event for his upcoming program, a crime show called The Hunt. “I said, ‘They’re all scared shitless of the NRA, aren’t they?’”

“‘John, every one of them,’” the vice president replied, according to Walsh. “‘Because the NRA will run a tea-bagger against you. . . . They’ll put 5 million bucks against you.’”

Imagine being called names and the VP using a slur like “Teabagger” for some one who finds it important to protect the 2nd Amendment to the Bill of Rights of the US Constitution. But use any type of slur against Gays, transgenders or even call someone an “illegal” and you are condemned as being hateful.

On another note, hey John Walsh, you have been a tremendous victims rights advocate, but don’t push it. I can respect John Walsh for all that he has done for missing persons and being a victim advocate, but that does not give him carte blanche on opinions on crime.  Just because you claim you can see both sides, does not mean you are not bias. Case and point, you claim that it is ludicrous for the NRA’s solution to arm every grammar-school 80-year-old teacher with a gun. Really John, an 80 year old teacher. Who is being ludicrous? Walsh went on to say, politicians are “scared sh*tless” of the NRA. One might say it’s about time these individuals are scared of something. But let’s get your facts straight John, it is not the NRA that politicians fear, it is the millions and millions of gun owning voters who are doing nothing more than using their Second Amendment rights. I would have expected more from some one of John Walsh than take the lazy, liberal way out of wanting new gun control laws that the LEFT uses as a direct assault on individuals legal rights to bear Arms.

“I am the guy that has seen both sides of the issue,” Walsh told reporters Monday. “I own guns. I’m the father of a murdered child. I’ve done nothing but track violence in America since my son was murdered. We have a serious problem with guns in this country. And we refuse to address it. And the NRA solution to arm every grammar-school 80-year-old teacher with a gun is absolutely ludicrous,” he said.

Walsh said the NRA is so deeply in the pocket of the gun industry that “they’re not a lobbyist on Capitol Hill, they’re a gun manufacturer rep.” He also said Vice President Joe Biden recently agreed with him that politicians are “scared s—less” of the NRA.
