Florence High School Student Suspended Over Picture of Gun on His School Issued Lap Top Background
So this is what the brilliance of schools and guns have come to in the United States? A high school student was suspended for having a picture of an AK-47 and a flag as his back ground on a school issued lap top. A picture? The school said it has a policy of “sending or displaying offensive messages or pictures,” and cannot access, send, create or forward pictures that are considered “harassing, threatening, or illegal.” Um, how is a picture as a background on a pc threatening or harassing? It is on his lap top, not being sent to anyone. This is the stupidity that we deal with in schools today. This is what some one gets suspended for?
A high school student in Florence said he has been suspended because of a picture of a gun.
Daniel McClaine Jr., a freshman at Poston Butte High School, said he saved the picture as his desktop background on his school-issued computer.
A teacher noticed it and turned him in.
The picture shows an AK-47 on top of a flag.
McClaine said the school initially suspended him for three days Friday.
Since the laptop belongs to the school, the district policy states students are prohibited from “sending or displaying offensive messages or pictures,” and cannot access, send, create or forward pictures that are considered “harassing, threatening, or illegal.”

So Much for Anyone Taking WH Seriously about Photo-Shopping Obama’s Gun Pic … Internet Mocks Obama with Great Twitter Caption Contest
Did Barack Obama really think that Americans were not going to use their First Amendment rights of ‘Freedom of Speech’ when it came to his self-serving and ridiculous gun shooting photo? What was worse than Obama releasing this pic was the threat that was made that accompanied the photo. Just a note to Obama, as much as you think you are a dictator and this is a Communist state, it is not.
No sooner was the picture released by the White House of President Barack Obama looking as awkward as one could shooting a gun and the treat to the American people not to photo-shop the picture than guess what … THEY DID! Over at Twitchy that have some of the best Obama gun pics and a caption contest for the ages. Yes Mr. President, America is mocking you and the idea that you actually think that releases a picture of you shooting a gun in mom jeans means you are a gun advocate and care about the Second Amendment. One of the best pics might be of the one where Obama is shooting the US Constitution. Or the pic of Obama shooting at the Bin Laden compound, another good one. No wonder he wanted to spike the football following Bin Laden’s death, Obama was really there. Although one of my favorites might just be this one HERE, where a bang flag comes out of the end of the gun barrel ala ‘Looney Tunes’ with the caption, “where is the earth shattering kaboom”.
More from Twitter that shows Obama is just like us.
Two points here. One, who honesty thinks that Obama is a friend of guns, skeet shooting and hunting because he released this idiotic picture of himself firing a gun? This was nothing more than a photo-op he did at one point during his presidency to use at a later date for his self-serving purposes. American has every right to mock Obama.
Two, this is just a reminder to Barack Obama. The Second Amendment provides Americans with the right to bear arms, not the right to shoot skeet or a right to hunt. The Second Amendment was put in place to make sure the rest of the Bill of Rights to the US Constitution would not be trampled by a tyrannical government. But what else could we expect from an Obama presidency who takes more time to make threats against its citizens expressing their freedom of speech than he does in going after terrorists who killed four Americans in Benghazi?

The Hypocrisy of the LEFT … Government Officials Can Still Own Assault Weapons Under Sen. Feinstein’s Assault Weapons Ban Bill
MORE LEFTIST HYPOCRISY: ASSAULT STYLE WEAPONS BAN FOR THEE, NOT FOR WE …
We have known for quite some time that the LEFT have considered themselves better than “We the People” and that they live by a different set of rules, even though they tell us to do just the opposite. However, the hypocrisy from the LEFT might have hit an all time high, or low as the case may be. U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein (CA-D) has for decades tried to ban assault-style weapons and infringe upon our Second Amendment rights. Her latest bill is just yet another attempt to take guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens. But there is one little provision that seems to have been overlooked. For all of Feinstein’s grandstanding and exploiting the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting, for all of her appearances in the MSM calling assault-style guns and the other weapons on her banned list evil, government officials are exempt as weapons used by government officials and law enforcement will not be prohibited by the law!!!
Not everyone is exempted from owning military-style assault weapons under new legislation proposed by U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein.
Weapons used by government officials and law enforcement will not be prohibited by the law proposed by the California Democrat, which would prohibit the sale, manufacture and importation of 158 specifically named semi-automatic weapons and ammunition magazines that hold more than 10 rounds. Any weapons legally owned before the bill’s enactment would also be exempt, although those firearms would have to be registered in a national database.
In addition, more than 2,200 types of hunting and sporting rifles and manually operated firearms would also be exempt.
Check out all of the weapons under Feinstein’s bill that John Q. Public is not allowed to have, but the privileged class of the government is exempt from and will be able to own.
Since when is the government more important than “We the People”? Since when are the people treated like second rate citizens as compared to the ruling class? This is exactly what Our Founding Fathers set out to prevent when they created the United States of America. UNBELIEVABLE! Just curious, if these weapons are so dangerous, why would government officials be allowed to have them? Could it be because they are a great form of protection against the bad guys? This really is nothing more than a gun grab by the LEFT.
WAKE THE HELL UP AMERICA, MANY INDIVIDUALS HAVE DIED TO PROTECT YOUR LIBERTIES AND FREEDOM. PRETEND LIKE YOU ACTUALLY HAVE A CLUE LIKE YOU CARE AND CARE ABOUT YOUR COUNTRY.

David Plouffe States Obama Is Going to Push His Ban on Assault Weapons Through Congress, While Sen. Barrasso Claims Senate Vote on Obama’s Gun Control Measures Unlikely Because of Vulnerable 2014 Democrats
A Tale of Two Claims on Assault Weapons bans …
This morning of Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace, Obama senior adviser David Plouffe told Wallace that the president is going to push Congress to pass his assault weapons ban. What is most telling is the admission that no set of laws is going to end violence, but Obama and his mouth pieces are trying to highjack the Sandy Hook shootings and playing on the knew-jerk reaction sympathies and ignorance of the American people. Plouffe was also making the rounds on CNN as well with his attack on US liberties and the 2nd Amendment. I would say one thing to “We the People”, be very careful of the liberties you give away that will affect little to no change. I would ask, why do it if we know in advance the change would be minimal.
“Everyone’s trying to divert from the core issue which is there is a huge consensus in the country including a vast majority of Republicans that things like the assault weapons, high capacity magazines, universal background checks, making progress on mental health. These are things we should and can do to help reduce gun violence. No set of laws is going to end violence, obviously or these episodes. But, if we can save one life we should take it. And we think there is consensus on Capitol Hill for this. We think we can get 60 votes in the senate and 218. It’s going to be hard … Look the president put together a variety of things. We think there is support for a lot of these things and are going to push forward as hard as we can.”
In contrast, as Plouffe was saying there was 60 votes in the US Senate to pass an assault-style gun ban, during a CNN “State of the Union” interview, Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY) claimed that he does not believe Harry Reid will bring Obama’s gun-control proposals to the Senate floor. Barrasso stated that Reid fears bringing up this vote because he has six Democrats up for election in two years in states where the president received fewer than 42 percent of the votes.”
As reported at The Hill:
Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) said Sunday that he does not believe President Obama’s gun-control proposals will be brought to the Senate floor for a vote.
Speaking on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Barrasso said election worries among Democrats will sideline legislation that could restrict gun ownership.
Obama has called on Congress to institute universal background checks for all gun sales as well as bans on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, among other items.
“I don’t think Sen. Harry Reid [D-Nev.] even brings it to the Senate floor because he has six Democrats up for election in two years in states where the president received fewer than 42 percent of the votes,” Barrasso said. “He doesn’t want his Democrats to have to choose between their own constituents and the president’s positions.”
The White House has recognized that passing gun-control legislation will be tough, though they are confident, anger over a mass shooting at an elementary school last month has shifted the public debate. Earlier on the same show, David Plouffe, senior adviser to President Obama, acknowledged it was “going be a very hard battle.”
The key to remember in all of this is that we must address the real issues of the Newtown shooting, not pass laws quickly that do nothing to combat violence, mental illness or the culture of violence, just to provide window dressing to make it appear Obama is doing something about it.

5 Year Old School Girl Suspended from Kindergarten After Threatening to Shoot Another Girl with Pink Hello Kitty Toy gun that Blows Soapy Bubbles (VIDEO)
HELLO KITTY TERROR THREAT: HAS THIS COUNTRY LOST ITS FRIGGING MIND, GOOD GRIEF WHAT HAPPENED TO THE COUNTRY I GREW UP IN?
A 5 year old girl was suspended for 10 days after making a “terroristic” threat after she threatened to shoot another girl with a ‘HELLO KITTY’ toy gun that blows soap bubbles. UNBELIEVABLE. If this was not so pathetic, it would be funny. Pardon my French, but how in the F@%# can a 5 year old make a terroristic threat with a pink toy? Oh wait, the school has come to their senses, NOT, and her punishment was reduced to two days and had the incident dropped to ‘threatening to harm another student.’ This is beyond absurd. This just goes to show what kind of fools we have working in schools these days. I would dare say that it was more harmful for the teacher who called out the girl in front of her class and told her police may get involved was more menacing than anything the 5 year old did.
A 5-year-old Pennsylvania girl who told another girl she was going to shoot her with a pink Hello Kitty toy gun that blows soapy bubbles has been suspended from kindergarten.
Her family has hired an attorney to fight the punishment, which initially was 10 days for issuing a ‘terroristic threat.’ But her punishment was reduced to two days after her mother met with school officials and had the incident dropped to ‘threatening to harm another student,’ which apparently carries a lesser punishment.
“It’s laughable,” Robin Ficker, the girl’s attorney told FoxNews.com. “This is a girl who had no idea about killing or what happened in Connecticut.”
Just curious, how can it be considered making a threat to another student if one actually shot some one with a Hello Kitty water gun with soap bubbles could cause absolutely no harm? But these are the over-reacting brain surgeons we have taking care of our children these days.
