San Fran Nancy Pelosi Says She Will Run for Democrat House Minority Leader

San Fran Nan just won’t go away … Pelosi says she will run for the Democrat Minority leadership in the House.

Nancy Pelosi will soon have the gavel ripped from her hands after the 61+ US House  pickups after the 2010 midterm elections; however,Pelosi says she will run for Democrat minority leader. How out of touch is Pelosi and the Democrat party if they actually continue to make Pelosi the face of the Democrat House?

Nancy Pelosi has become the gift that keeps on giving …

I’m Back!!!

Pelosi told collegues in a letter that “our work is not finished” and announced her plans to the world via Twitter shortly thereafter by posting this message: “Driven by the urgency of creating jobs & protecting [health care reform and Wall Street reform], Social Security & Medicare, I am running for Dem Leader,” Pelosi Tweeted.

Nancy Pelosi has become like Jason from Friday the 13th … she just wont go away. The Democrat party has lost their collective minds if the elect Pelsoi minority leader, an individual with a job approval rating in the toilet.

For some shell-shocked House Democrats who held on in tough districts Tuesday, Pelosi’s decision is a bad dream come true.

Kaine Says Democrats will Hold House, then Why are They so Worried the GOP Will Take the House of Representatives in 2010 … New York State Set for Possible Democrat Purge

Wouldn’t it be real news if the Chairman of the DNCC admitted that the Democrats would lose?

The top democrat says they will not lose the House. Really? Then why are Democrats struggling in the “bluest” of “blue” states l;ike New York? Tim Kaine, the chairman of the Democratic National Committee, went on ABC’s ‘This Week’ and said the following shocking comment … the Democrats would retain the House. WOW, THAT’S NEWS!!!

Kaine told “This Week” anchor Christiane Amanpour that Democrats would maintain control of the House in the midterm elections nine days from now.

I do, I do. I think it’s going to be close,” he said. “These races are very close, but from this point forward, it’s all about turnout and ground game. And we’re seeing good early voting trends and we’ve got work to do, but we think we can do it.”

So is all the polling wrong, Amanpourasked. Kaine didn’t address that question, but said the wind was at Democrats’ backs.

Does any one think that the head cheerleader of the Democrats is going to admit they are going to lose? I mean seriously folks, these people could not tell the truth about Obamacare, the stimulus or creating jobs. America is just so enamored with Democrat House Speaker as seen by her 29% approval rating. It is only Obama who thinks she is a great Speaker, not the American voters. . Kaine must be drinking the Kool-Aid from the latest Newsweek poll  and not all the others that have the GOP ahead in the Congressional generic ballot.

Obvious, most Democrats do not share Kaine’s optimism. Most all Democrats are fearful of losing the House of Representatives in 2010 which can explain why they seem to be running as Republicans and as far away from the policies of Pelosi and Obama as they can.? Maybe it is because like in a Deep Blue state like New York, there are 11 possible seats that could change hands. 11!!! The Republicans just need a pick up of 39 to reclaim the majority. Currently, 27 of the 29 New York House seats are held by Democrats. All that could change in the 2010 midterms and what occurs in NY state could be the political indicator for what happens November 2nd election eve.

The 11 races up for grabs in New York. In a state where 93% of the House seats are held by Democrats, imagine what it means for Democrats to lose 4 or 5 seats in New York state?

1. Hall (D) v. Hayworth (R): In the 19th Congressional District (Westchester, Putnam, Orange), Republican Nan Hayworth, an ophthalmologist, is in a statistical tie with Rep. John Hall in the latest Monmouth University poll. Hall, a movement radical/singer (Orleans) who won in reaction to the Iraq war in 2006, has toed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s line ever since.

However, numerous polls have the Repubpican candidate ahead like the Siena poll that has Hayworth ahead by 3%, while The Hill’s recent battleground polling had the race tied. How has the landscape changed in 2010? The incumbent Democrat Hall won his House election races in 2008 and 2006 by a 59%-41% and51%-49% respectively. Hall now finds himself in a virtual tie withan anti-incumbent Democrat scent in the wind.

2. Bishop v. Altschuler:In the 1st CD (Eastern Suffolk), Rep. Tim Bishop is behind Republican Randy Altschuler42-40 in the latest McLaughlin poll. A defeat of Bishop, a long-term incumbent, would send shock waves through the state’s delegation.

However, a recent Siena poll shows the GOP candidate down big. However, GOP candidate received the politcal endorsement from NJ Governor Chris Christie and has a nice war chest for down the stretch ads. Some recent polls only show the incumbent Democrat up by 2%.

John Thune & GOP Weekly Address: “When You’re Speeding Toward a Cliff, You Don’t Want to Keep the Car in Drive”

When heading toward a cliff and a most certain accident, who keeps the car in drive and their foot on the gas peddle?

Nearly one week from the 2010 midterm election and US Senator John Thune of South Dakota delivered this week’s GOP Weekly Address and blistered Barack Obama’s tired and repeated analogy of Republicans driving the car into the ditch and Obama’s failed economic policies.  John Thune provided some important driving tips when facing a most certain peril and disaster … “When you’re speeding toward a cliff, you don’t want to keep the car in drive.”

My guess is that it would be Obama & Democrats cheering as the car went over the cliff in drive?

Thune also went on to say that Barack Obama and Democrats should have been more concerned with creating jobs for Americans, not saving the political careers of Democrat politicians.

President Obama has been running around the country trying to reelect Democrat members of Congress.

But if the conversations I’ve had with voters are any indication, the president should spend less time campaigning to save the jobs of Democrats in Congress, and more time trying to create jobs for the American people.

REPUBLICAN WEEKLY ADRESS FROM JOHN THEUNE

A new direction is needed.

The president likes to say that when you want to drive forward you put your car in D, and when you want to go in reverse you put it in R. It’s a clever line, but when you’re speeding toward a cliff, you don’t want to keep the car in drive.

Republicans want to reverse the dangerous course the Democrats have us on.

The full transcript of the Weekly Address can be read at  American Conservative Values:

•For campaigning to save the jobs of Democrat politicians instead of spending more time trying ti create jobs for the American People.
•For their grow government, raise taxes, and take over health care experiment.
•For their broken promise to keep unemployment under eight percent.
•For their broken promise to reduce every family’s health insurance premiums by up to $2,500.
•For their failure to pass a budget.
•For passing more burdensome regulations.

Bring Out Your Dead … 72,000 Obama Stimulus Payments Went to Dead People

Your Obama, Democrat ”BIG  GOVERMNENT” working for you … Trying to stimulate the dead? Bring Out your Dead.

In just another example of the waste and ineptitude of “Big Government”, it is being reorted that SSA, Social Security Administration, has sent  89,000 Democrat and Obama approved stimulus checks of $250 were sent to either individuals that were dead or in prison. NICE!!! Of these checks, 72,000 were sent to the dead.  To make matters worse, an additional $4.3 million went to more than 17,000 prison inmates. Just how incompetent is this government? These are the people that talk about taking oout the waste and fraud in Medicare and Medicaid? Maybe they might want to look in the mirror first.

More than 89,000 stimulus payments of $250 each went to people who were either dead or in prison, a government investigator says in a new report.

Pic hat Tip: No Sheeple Here

The payments, which were part of last year’s massive economic recovery package, were meant to increase consumer spending to help stimulate the economy.

But about $18 million went to nearly 72,000 people who were dead, according to the report by the Social Security Administration’s inspector general. The report estimates that a little more than half of those payments were returned.

An additional $4.3 million went to more than 17,000 prison inmates, the report said. Most of the inmates, it turns out, were eligible to get the payments because they were newly incarcerated and had been receiving Social Security before they were locked up.

Only half of the checks sent to the dead have been returned. Get this as stated at No Sheeple Here, The Social Security Administration says that the stimulus package didn’t include a provision allowing it to try to retrieve funds that were mistakenly sent out, so it can’t try to retrieve the money. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. These are the folks you want in charge of your health care, eh? They made no provisions for contingency situations and thought all of this would just go like clockwork. A question to all, when does government operate like clockwork?

From the WSJ,  Republican Sen. Tom Coburn of Oklahoma reaction:

“This report highlights the broader problems with the Recovery Act itself,” said Coburn, in a statement. “At a time like now, when nearly $350 billion in waste, fraud and abuse in the federal government annually has been reported and our national debt closing in on $13.5 trillion, these findings represent the epitome of congressional stupidity and a total disregard for accountability.”

Limbaugh Calls President Obama a ‘Jackass’ & an “Economic Illiterate” and an “Idiot, When it comes to Capitalism”

Rush Limbaugh calls Obama a jackass, an economic illiterate and an economic ignoramus.

A note to the media and bloggers both on the Left and Right, if what Limbaugh said was vitrioland over the top, what would you call what the US politicians, including the President have said about the American people for the last two years? We just found out today, really? Americans have been called racists and Nazis for not agreeing with the policies of Obama. Democrat politicians have stated that Republicans want people to die quickly. Those who disagree with Obamacare have been called “evil hate mongers”. Now you think the line has been crossed? Spare me!

At what point does political rhetoric turn to disrespectful vitriol? Some are suggesting that we found out today when conservative talk radio provocateur Rush Limbaugh ostensibly referred to President Obama as “you jackass!”

Sorry, but conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh just vented what a majority of Americans and Business people think. There is a reason why only 42% of Americans believe Obama is doing a good job as President while 49% disapprove. His handling of the economy is looked upon as even worse. I would dare say even non-Ditto heads would agree with Rush’s comments. Sorry, but its not too far. We have a MSM who refuses to confront this President and we have millions of people unemployed and collecting food stamps. Enough is enough. If a sitting President can disregard the will of the people and treat them as Obama has done, criticism of his policies is hardly vitriol.

As the economy gets no better, unemployment is heading up and business is sitting on money because of the uncertainty of Obama and Democrats … Obama does nothing to extend the Bush tax cuts. Derision? Sorry, I would dare say many people have said the same or worse, they just don’t have a talk show to vent their views or opinions. But what they do have is a vote this November 2, 2010.

Derision of the president on his program is nothing new, but Rush Limbaugh’s tone today may have struck the ears of regular listeners as particularly disdainful, taking his contempt of the president to a new level.

The nation’s preeminent conservative talk radio host referred to Mr. Obama as a “jackass,” an “economic illiterate” and an “idiot, where capitalism is concerned.”

Remember when the LEFT used to call GWB rigid and set in his ways when it came to Iraq? What’s the difference with this issue? Obviously, nothing Obama is doing is working to provide an environment

Must see Video from Rush

“Extend the tax cut to everybody, and you’ll inspire confidence,” Limbaugh argued, saying that added degree of certainty would free business to spend some of the capital they’re holding onto and hire people, “which, once upon a time, we were told, was Obama’s top priority.”

For not getting this, “He’s a jackass.  He’s an economic illiterate.  He’s an economic ignoramus.”
“And that’s being charitable,” Limbaugh said.
