PGA Golfer Phil Mickelson May Retire or Move from California After Democrats Rob Him of 62% of His Income

WELCOME TO BARACK OBAMA’S CLASS WARFARE WORLD … Is the Obama tax increase going to force golfer Phil Mickelson to retire, maybe.

In an interview with Forbes, PGA golfer Phil Mickelson stated that he may retire and/or move from California as Obama and Democrat tax increases now take more than 62% of his income. Thanks to Barack Obama, Democrats, Obamacare and the state of California, Mickelson will see far less money at years end. Due to the fiscal cliff bill, Mickelson will experience an increase in his top tax rate on ordinary income from 35% to 39.6%, and an increase in his top rate on long-term capital gains and qualified dividends from 15% to 20%. Also, because Obama allowed the expiration of the temporary 2% reduction in the payroll tax rate on the first $113,700 of self-employment income. Wait, there is more. Thanks to Obamacare, Mickelson will be liable for an additional 0.9% tax on his self-employment income and 3.8% tax on his net investment income after each exceeds $250,000.  However, it does not stop there, the folks of California actually passed a proposition to increase taxes. In November, California passed Proposition 30, which increases the top income tax rate on resident millionaires to 13.3%.

Word is, Phil Mickelson is mad as hell about rising tax rates, and he’s not going to take it anymore.  What follows is a brief portion of an interview Mickelson gave earlier today after carding a final-round 66 at the Palmer Course at PGA West in La Quinta – which I assure you, is not associated with the La Quinta next door to your local Denny’s – in which the golfer hinted that he is considering drastic career changes because of a combined tax rate nearing “62, 63 percent:”

Q. When you’re asked about Stricker’s semi-retirement, with the political situation the last couple months, blah, blah, blah, what did you mean by that? Do you find it an unsettling time in a way?

PHIL MICKELSON: Well, it’s been an interesting offseason. And I’m going to have to make some drastic changes. I’m not going to jump the gun and do it right away, but I will be making some drastic changes.

Why wouldn’t one question working hard, entering as many tournaments as Phil does and being away from his family when between the feds and state they take more than 60% of his income. All this so Obama and the libs in California can redistribute his hard work to slackers.  Makes all the sense in the world, those that work their tail off, to have the fruits of their labor given to those who don’t. Welcome to Obamaland.

Now that the Election is Over … Barack Obama is back to Playing Golf

Unbelievable, the only thing that has prevented President Barack Obama from playing golf was his reelection. The Golfer in Chief has returned.

Looks like we are getting the same old Barack Obama, he is now back on the golf course as the Middle East burns and America is headed off the fiscal cliff.  Sadly, the American voters have decided to make the next four years just more of the same. Nothing could prevent Obama from playing golf except his reelection. Not a US economy in crisis, a national debt of +$16 trillion, record number of Americans on food stamps, record low job participation rate of Americans, the impending fiscal cliff and US soldiers paying the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Nope, only his reelection was the most important thing for Obama to prevent him from playing golf. Now he’s back to his old games that the election is over.

President Barack Obama is spending his first Saturday after winning reelection on the golf course. Today’s outing is to the course on Andrews Air Force Base.

“Motorcade arrived at Andrews Air Force Base at 11:01 am after an uneventful ride,” the pool report reads. “President Obama is playing golf with three White House aides: Eugene Kang, Joe Paulson and trip director Marvin Nicholson, according to a White House official. Pool is holding at the Andrews fast food court for the next few hours.”

Masters of their Domain: Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice & South Carolina Financier Darla Moore Among First Female Members at Augusta National Golf Club

Augusta National has finally admitted woman to the famed golf club, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and South Carolina financier Darla Moore. For the first time in the history of Augusta National, the famed golf club where the Masters is played and the home of the green jacket … woman have been admitted as members.

Augusta National Golf Club has admitted female members for the first time, granting entry to former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and South Carolina financier Darla Moore.

Augusta, the site of the prestigious Masters golf tournament, has never before admitted women in the club’s 80-year history. Chairman Billy Payne called the change in policy a  “joyous occasion.”

“These accomplished women share our passion for the game of golf and both are well known and respected by our membership,” Payne said, according to The Associated Press. “It will be a proud moment when we present Condoleezza and Darla their green jackets when the club opens this fall. This is a significant and positive time in our club’s history and, on behalf of our membership, I wanted to take this opportunity to welcome them and all of our new members into the Augusta National family.”

President Barack Obama Spends 51st Birthday, What Else … Golfing

President Barack Obama spent his 51st birthday, doing what else but golfing of course.  This is nothing new and unusual, it will be Obama’s 104th round of golf since he became president as Obama played gold at Camp David.  I am guessing that those Americans that are apart of the 8.3% and the 17% underemployment were kind of hoping that President Obama was actually going to keep his word that jobs were his number one priority. However, when Obama made fundraiser and golf a grater priority than meeting with his own Jobs Council, Americans probably think its time for change and Barack Obama can spend his next birthday no longer president.

In an email to supporters, Barack Obama warned that his birthday “could be the last one I celebrate as president of the United States, but that’s not up to me — it’s up to you.” Yes it is and its about time this country has a Commander in Chief and someone focused on the economy, not class warfare.

Obama Says Jobs Priority One, That’s Why He Hasn’t Met With Them Publicly in Six Months, But Has Time for Fund Raisers, Vaction and Golf … Romney Says, Obama’s “priority is keeping his own jobs and that is why he is going to lose it.”

Obama’s Jobs Council AWOL … and you wonder why there are being no jobs created? How can anyone justify this while the President conducted 89 fundraisers in the last six months. Obama is obviously concerned more about his own job than helping create those for America.

President Barack Obama has repeatedly said that jobs were his top priority. Really? The jobs numbers hardly show that. But it gets worse, Obama’s Jobs Council has not met publicly for six months. SIX MONTHS!!! Its bad enough there are members on this panel who are CEO’s who outsource jobs, something that Obama has criticized his opponent Mitt Romney for doing while at Bain Capital. All this while millions of Americans are out of work, unemployed and underemployed, Obama’s Jobs Council is MIA.

President Barack Obama’s Jobs Council hasn’t met publicly for six months, even as the issue of job creation dominates the 2012 election.

At this point, the hiatus — which reached the half-year mark Tuesday — might be less awkward than an official meeting, given the hornet’s nest of issues that could sting Obama and the council members if the private-sector panel gets together.

Mitt Romney responded to this news of Obama’s Jobs Council in Bowling Green, Ohio in the video (4:00 mark) below and stated you would think that with a situation so bad in the United States when it comes to comes that the President would spend all of his time on helping people get jobs. Instead in the last six months Obama has held 100 fund raisers and had ZERO meetings with his Jobs Council. Romney went on to say to cheers,  his [Obama's] priority is not creating jobs for you, his priority is keeping his own jobs and that is why he is going to lose it.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney was questioned by the press as to why Obama’s Jobs Council had not met publicly in six months. After twisting and trying to find an answer to an inexcusable situation, Carney said that the reason why they have not met was because Obama had a lot on his plate. Yup, he was just too busy. That is why is the last six months Barack Oabma has been able to hold 89 fund raisers, go on vacation and play multiple rounds of golf.  Yup, Obama has a full plate, too full a plate than to make JOBS his priority. At least he has a plat, unlike millions of Americans without a job and without a home.
