The UK Telegraph just rips Barack Obama’s underwhelming speech apart as they compare it to the one’s that JFK and Ronald Reagan made in Berlin. What else would one expect from a weak, ineffective and scandal ridden  president? Because truth be known and its about time that America and the World admit it, Obama really is an empty suit and an epic failure. Obama is no JFK and he certainly is no Reagan. Obama is simply an emperor with no clothes and now no audience. Obama’s speech yesterday in Berlin was as weak as it gets and showed just how small this president has become. Obama took his scandal plagued, failed economy on the road for what seemed more like a State of the Union laundry list of begs on the road to Europe. His lame speech can be read HERE. One has to wonder who thought this was a good idea. Is his ego really that big and is Obama do deluded to think that this small, tiny, miniscule speech was on par with JFK and RWR? All that has been accomplished during Obama’s European vacation is just how much he has diminished the role of the President and the United States in the World.

When John F. Kennedy delivered his “Ich Bin Ein Berliner” speech in front of the Brandenburg Gate on June 26, 1963, 450,000 people flocked to hear him. Fifty years later a far more subdued invitation-only crowd of 4,500 showed up to hear Barack Obama speak at the same location in Berlin. As The National Journal noted, “he didn’t come away with much, winning just a smattering of applause from a crowd that was one-hundredth the size of JFK’s,” and far smaller than the 200,000 boisterous Germans who had listened to his 2008 address as a presidential candidate. JFK had a clear message when he came to Berlin a half century ago – the free world must stand up to Communist tyranny. 24 years later, President Reagan stood in the same spot famously calling on the Soviets to “tear down this wall.” Reagan’s speech was a seminal moment that ushered in the downfall of an evil empire, and gave hope to tens of millions of people behind the Iron Curtain. It was a display of strength and conviction by the leader of the free world, sending an unequivocal message of solidarity with those who were fighting for freedom in the face of a monstrous totalitarian ideology.

In stark contrast to that of his presidential predecessors, Barack Obama’s message on Wednesday was pure mush, another clichéd “citizens of the world” polemic with little substance. This was a speech big on platitudes and hopeless idealism, while containing much that was counter-productive for the world’s superpower. Ultimately it was little more than a laundry list of Obama’s favorite liberal pet causes, including cutting nuclear weapons, warning about climate change, putting an end to all wars, shutting Guantanamo, ending global poverty, and backing the European Project. It was a combination of staggering naiveté, the appeasement of America’s enemies and strategic adversaries, and the championing of more big government solutions.

What did we get from Barack Obama? A political liberal beg speech of his liberal wish list that has nothing to do with anything except show just how shallow and small Obama really has become. It was nothing more than embarrassing.

The International rock star status of Barack Obama has gone the way of the do-do bird.  Remember in 2008 when Barack Obama spoke in front of over 200,000 people. Everyone fawned over the “Hope & Change” candidate. However, that was then, this is now and Obama experienced a far different experience this time.  As stated at the Weekly Standard, Obama spoke to only 4,500 people today in Berlin, Germany at the Brandenburg Gate. It would appear that the Germans have wizened up to Obama’s game. It was simply Barack Obama’s Spinal Tap moment. Not only does the emperor have no clothes, he also has no audience, influence or magic.

2008 When Obama had the World BS’d

Just curious, what was the point why Obama went to speak at the Berlin Wall? Could it have been any more weak? Could Obama have looked any smaller? President John F. Kennedy spoke at the Brandenburg Gate (VIDEO) following the Berlin airlift. President Ronald Reagan (VIDEO) made his famous “tear sown this Wall” speech there. Obama, well Obama spoke from behind a glass wall and just looked small. Just how “Lost in Smallness” could Obama be? Who on earth thought that having him speak here was a good idea? The visual of 200,000 vs. 4500 is simply embarrassing.

When he arrived here on Tuesday evening ahead of a full day of talks — capped by a speech at the Brandenburg Gate — the reception was far more restrained.

Almost five years later, Germans have undergone “a brutal sobering up” with regard to Mr. Obama, said Ralf Fücks, who heads the board of the Heinrich Böll Foundation, a nonprofit political organization in Berlin. It is, he said, as overdone as the euphoria of 2008, but also a bit alarming.

Mr. Fücks and other Germans say there are several reasons for the change in attitude. The most commonly cited: the president’s inability to close the prison at Guantánamo Bay, continued killings by American drones and, most recently, the disclosure of an extensive program for surveillance of foreigners.

 

Losing the Youth Vote … Obama’s Job Approval Falls 17 Points With those Age18 to 29 … Scandals, Scandals, Scandals

It finally appears that Barack Obama has lost that loving feeling of the youth vote.

Yesterday we reported that Barack Obama’s job approval in a recent CNN poll fell to 45%. However, further looking into the numbers revealed an even more glaring loss of support. Obama’s approval rating fell 17 points to 48% with those who are age 18 to 29. So what’s the reason for the drastic drop with the youth? Could it be that they finally realize that they will be paying a disproportionate share for Obamacare? Could it be that they realize they have a mountain of college debt and no job? Probably not as they have had a time to digest these fiascos under Obama. Most likely it is because they realize that Barack Obama was not the one they had been waiting for and was no different that any other lying president. The scandals are starting to even affect the young. The IRS scandal and NSA are probably highest on the list of the multiple scandals.  Obama stated as a candidate he would stop wire tapping and spying on legal Americans (VIDEO); however, the youth have recently learned a much different story. Today’s youth are more wired in to the internet, Facebook and social media than any other age group. Now they realize that the president who said they would not be spied on is doing the unthinkable, spying on them. It’s time for today’s youth to grow up and understand, the “One” they had been waiting for, was not. It’s always difficult for the idealistic young to realize that their hero is nothing more than Richard Nixon.

Have all the scandals become too much even for today’s youth? They appear to have lost trust in Obama, I guess they no longer believe, in Obama, they trust.

Even more surprising: The overall decline in his approval rating was partially fueled by a plunge in support from younger Americans, a huge base of Obama’s support.

Last month, nearly two-thirds of those in the 18-29 age group gave the president a thumbs up. His approval rating among that bracket fell 17 points in Monday’s poll and now stands at 48%.

“One explanation may be that younger Americans are more likely to feel they are personally affected by the surveillance programs,” said CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. “More than half of all senior citizens, for example, think that the government has not collected their personal information, and since older Americans are less likely to use the Internet, they may be right. Among younger Americans, two-thirds believe that the federal government has gathered their personal data.”

This administration has gotten pretty good at riding the ebbs and flows of poll numbers,” said chief national correspondent for The New York Times Magazine Mark Leibovich. “In the second term it’s easier to sort of, not shrug it off,  but certainly to ride it out a little bit.”

“The president’s trend line on his popularity, and the level of trust that Americans have for him, is going down, right as many Americans feel the economy is starting to recover, and their perception’s about the economy’s starting to go up,” said CNN contributor and former senior adviser to Mitt Romney Kevin Madden.

CNN Poll: Barack Obama Approval Rating Falls to 45% Amid Continuous Scandals

Don’t look now but Nixon’s Obama’s approval ratings are tanking amid scandals.

According to a recent CNN poll. President Barack Obama’s approval rating has sunk to 45% while 54% disapprove of his handling of his job. It is his lowest rating in a year and a half. So why the free-fall? Can you say scandals and the fact that the American people are being to not only lose trust in government, but specifically lose trust in Obama. The scandals are starting to catch up with Obama and how could they not? With Benghazi, the IRS, AP, James Rosen, NSA, the State Department and lest we forget Fast and Furious, it is simply amazing his approval rating is at 45%. Obama also go low marks on handling the economy and the federal budget. Also, as reported at the Politico, for the first time in his presidency, the poll also found less than half of respondents believed Obama was honest. In all, the poll showed Obama to be a complete failure.

The president’s approval rating stands at 45%, down from 53% in mid-May. And 54% say they disapprove of how Obama’s handling his job, up nine points from last month. It’s the first time in CNN polling since November 2011 that a majority of Americans have had a negative view of the president.

“The drop in Obama’s support is fueled by a dramatic 17-point decline over the past month among people under 30, who, along with black Americans, had been the most loyal part of the Obama coalition,” says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland.

The president also dropped 10 points among independent voters, from 47% last month to 37% now, with Obama’s disapproval among independents jumping 12 points to 61%.

The drop in support for Obama was especially steep among young voters and independents. With voters ages 18 to 29, Obama’s approval numbers dropped 17 points, according to CNN’s polling director. Among voters ages 18-34, 48 percent approved of the job Obama is doing and 50 percent disapproved.

Independents’ approval of the president dropped 10 points, to 37 percent, and disapproval was up 12 points, to 61 percent.

Americans No Longer Trust Their Government … 57% Fear Government Will Use NSA Data to Harass Political Opponents

Americans have lost trust in their government and believe it is a threat to their individual rights. Our rights are endowed by Our Creator, not government. What ever happened to the dream of Our Founding Fathers of a government of, by and for the People? It would appear that those days are gone as Americans now fear the very government that is supposed to be for “We the People”. The continual scandals of the Obama administration bring into play just how big, how out of control and how vindictive the federal government has become.  In a recent Rasmussen poll, 57% of Americans fear the Government will use NSA data to harass political opponents. Why would they feel like that, it’s not as though the IRS willfully and purposely targeted conservative and Tea Party organizations, while they have liberal and progressive groups a free pass. Oh that’s right, they did. Forget the fact that it is most likely Unconstitutional to collect data on all Americans to use at a later date, whether it is for national security or not. The problem is that when there is a situation that can present itself for abuse, it will be compromised. We need to look no further than the IRS scandal that obviously aided Barack Obama in winning reelection by harassing and preventing his opponents from organizing. And despite the fact that Barack Obama has told us that they do not listen in on phone calls, according to another Rasmussen poll, 68% think it is likely that the government is listening to their conversations.

Making matters worse that Americans have lost trust in their government is that 56% of Americans believe that their Government is a threat to their individuals rights. How is this possible that “WE THE PEOPLE” have allowed a government to go rogue? Another 60% say it is likely other agencies targeted Conservatives as well. We have a government that is “Too Big” to succeed. What are the chances that the IRS also perpetrated their illegal acts against conservatives to help Obama and ensure that Obamacare would not be repealed along with the 16,000 news IRS jobs that go along with Obamacare? Hmm, think there is a slight conflict of interest there from the organization that was to implement and enforce Obamacare?

The United States was founded on a belief that governments are created to protect certain unalienable rights. Today, however, more voters than ever view the federal government as a threat to those rights.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 56% of Likely U.S. Voters now consider the federal government a threat to individual rights rather than a protector of those rights. That’s up 10 points from 46% in December.
