SARAH PALIN GIVES DONALD TRUMP A RINGING ENDORSEMENT AHEAD OF THE IOWA CAUCUSES …

Last night former Alaska governor and 2008 VP running mate Sarah Palin gave Donald Trump her endorsement for the 2016 GOP presidential race. It was not just a plain old one, it was quite a ringing endorsement. This was a little surprising, but maybe it is not as this 2016 political season has been one like no other in recent times. I understand Republicans want to win back the White House, but for me these days, its no longer a T or D thing, its a conservative thing. I have seen too many Republicans disappoint me. Obviously, Donald Trump has tapped into the political outsider thing. Which is what has caused the momentum and his front-runner status. Now he is tapping into that same energy that Palin attracted years ago. During her endorsement speech she stated, “Well, I am here because like you I know that it is now or never. I’m in it to win it because we believe in America, and we love our freedom. And if you love your freedom, thank a vet. Thank a vet, and know that the United States military deserves a commander-in-chief that our country passionately, and will never apologize for this country. A new commander-in-chief who will never leave our men behind. A new commander-in-chief, one who will never lie to the families of the fallen.”

Today Donald J. Trump received the coveted and influential endorsement of former Vice Presidential Candidate and Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin. Palin praised Trump’s leadership and unparalleled ability to speak the truth and produce real results. A trusted conservative, Palin has a proven record of being fiscally modest, staunchly pro-life and believes in small government that allows businesses to grow and freedom to prosper. Gov. Palin joined Mr. Trump in Ames on Tuesday, just two weeks before the Iowa Caucuses, to announce her endorsement of the GOP frontrunner.

Mr. Trump stated, “I am greatly honored to receive Sarah’s endorsement. She is a friend, and a high quality person whom I have great respect for. I am proud to have her support.”

However, I am a bit taken aback, much like William Teach from The Right Wing News. Trump has some conservative qualities, positions and he speaks his mind; however, he is no Conservative. Just remember that folks. I just hope this ends well. I hope!!!

Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice-presidential nominee who became a Tea Party sensation and a favorite of grass-roots conservatives, endorsed Donald J. Trump in Iowa on Tuesday, providing him with a potentially significant boost just 13 days before the state’s caucuses.

“Are you ready for the leader to make America great again?” Mrs. Palin said with Mr. Trump by her side at a rally at Iowa State University. “Are you ready to stump for Trump? I’m here to support the next president of the United States — Donald Trump.”

Her support is the highest-profile backing for a Republican so far. It came the same day that Iowa’s Republican governor, Terry Branstad, said he hoped that Senator Ted Cruz would be defeated in Iowa. The Feb. 1 caucuses are a must-win for the Texas senator, who is running neck-and-neck with Mr. Trump in state polls.

The endorsement came as Mr. Trump was bearing down in the state, holding multiple campaign events and raising expectations about his performance in the nation’s first nominating contest.

As Mrs. Palin announced her backing, Mr. Trump stood wearing a satisfied smile as she scolded mainstream Republicans as sellouts and praised how Mr. Trump had shaken up the party. “He’s been going rogue left and right,” Mrs. Palin said of Mr. Trump, using one of her signature phrases. “That’s why he’s doing so well. He’s been able to tear the veil off this idea of the system.”

It is not clear that Mrs. Palin’s blessing will have a major impact on Mr. Trump’s long-term prospects. But in Iowa, where Mrs. Palin spent years developing a network of supporters, it could be helpful. Mr. Trump has faced questions about whether his campaign’s organizing muscle can draw the voters to match his poll numbers come caucus night.

One thing I do not want to hear from Donald Trump or the Palin’s when it comes to Ted Cruz and that is that he is some kind of bad and hated man. That’s BS. To be honest, prior to Trumps presidential run for the GOP many who know support him thought he was a blow hard billionaire. I like some of the things that Donald Trump says and has to offer and I also like Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) as well, so when the dust up over New York values popped up, I figured it would go away just like the rest of the nonsensical, irrelevant issues that take place during a primary. However, it would appear that the MSM and Trump want it to have legs. So let’s just dispel all the BS right here and now. Sorry Donald, you are wrong on this one and you earn no points, except with liberals and the liberal MSM. Neither of which will get you a GOP presidential nomination.

When asked about whether gays should serve in the military, Trumps response was … “It would not disturb me. I mean, hey, I lived in New York City and Manhattan all my life, so my views are a little bit different than if I lived in Iowa, perhaps…”. And when asked about partial birth abortion Trump’s response was, “Well, look, I’m very pro-choice…and again, it may be a little bit of a New York background, because there is some different attitude in different parts of the country, and you know, I was raised in New York, and grew up and work and everything else in New York City.“ Hmm … so in both cases he references New York City and because of his being raised there he could have different views than that of other people in other parts of the country.

RUSSERT: Do you think gays should be allowed to be married?

TRUMP: It’s something I haven’t given lots of thought to. I live in New York City, there is a tremendous movement on to have and allow gay marriage. It’s just something that is too premature for me to comment on.

RUSSERT: How about gays serving in the military?

TRUMP: It would not disturb me. I mean, hey, I lived in New York City and Manhattan all my life, so my views are a little bit different than if I lived in Iowa,    perhaps…

Then there was this exchange:

RUSSERT: Partial birth abortion. Eliminating of abortion in the third trimester. Big issue in Washington. Would President Trump ban partial birth abortion?

TRUMP: Well, look, I’m very pro-choice…and again, it may be a little bit of a New York background, because there is some different attitude in different parts of the country, and you know, I was raised in New York, and grew up and work and everything else in New York City.

RUSSERT: But you would not ban it.

TRUMP: No…I am pro-choice in every respect as far as it goes, but I just hate it.

Ted Cruz made the comment that Donald Trump represented New York values. Of course every open minded thinking person knows what this means, even The Donald does. However, that did not stop him from some how comparing New York, which means New York City liberal values, to September 11, 2001. WHAT? Who are you kidding? The rest of New York state knows that when individuals reference New York, they are referring to NYC. Its even a fact that many in upstate New York have been upset over for years. However, lets get the facts straight, NYC is a bastion of liberalism and so is the state house in Albany.

Sorry Donald, I actually find that offensive. I agree with Conservative radio talk show host Marl Levin, ‘Cut the Crap’ with ‘New York City Bully Tactics’ Against Cruz. The fact that Donald Trump used 9-11 to some how compare that is what New York values is about is a total crock. Nice try Donald, playing the guilt and 9-11 card. What, are you really a liberal? Because that’s what is looks like to me. For some one like myself who’s best friends come from New York, I understand completely what Ted Cruz meant. We have all heard for years there is the east coast (NYC) and the West coast (LA) and then there is fly over country. The two coasts NYC and LA are as liberal as it gets, flyover is Republican. Don’t you think the folks that live in California and not just in Los Angeles get a bad wrap? Of course they do, but California politics is dominated by LA and San Fransisco.

Oh and as for liberal, lying New York Gov. Cuoma asking for an apology from Cruz. Hey Guv, you should understand this as its a Bronx cheer and a go “F” yourself. It was this same divisive ass-hat who made the comment that conservatives are not New Yorkers, “Because if that’s who they are and they’re the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of New York, because that’s not who New Yorkers are.” Hmm, maybe the voters should be a little more hostile to that than a comment that Ted Cruz made.

House of Representatives Passes ObamaCare Repeal and Sends it to President … VETO Expected

The House of Representatives passes legislation yesterday that would repeal much of Obamacare and defund Planned Parenthood for one year. The bill passed by a vote of 240 to 181 margin and was sent to Barack Obama, who is most certainly going to veto it. The GOP does not appear to have enough votes override a veto. It makes one wonder then, why did the Republicans bend over to Obama and provide him with a budget just recently that funded all of Obamacare, Planned Parenthood and the rest of his liberal agenda? Is anyone in Washington, DC looking out for “We the People”? It is the first time in 5 years that the GOP has put a bill forward on the desk of Obama that repeals Obamacare.

The House on Wednesday passed legislation that would repeal much of ObamaCare and defund Planned Parenthood for one year, sending the measure to President Obama’s desk.

The bill passed by a vote of 240 to 181. Rep. Collin Peterson (Minn.), who opposes abortion, was the only Democrat to vote for the measure. Reps. Bob Dold (Ill.), Richard Hanna (N.Y.) and John Katko (R-N.Y.), who all hail from swing districts, were the only Republicans to vote against it.

Obama is certain to veto the measure, but Republicans touted the vote as important step toward reversing the Affordable Care Act and the expansion of government it created.

“We are confronting the president with the hard, honest truth: ObamaCare doesn’t work,” Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) said Wednesday.

Republicans were able to get the repeal bill through the Senate, where Democrats had filibustered previous efforts, by using a fast-track process known as reconciliation that allows the bill to pass with a simple majority.

Democrats denounced the measure on the House floor, repeatedly invoking the roughly 16 million people enrolled in ObamaCare programs.

The GOP better do a lot more than just put bills in front of the President. They best come up with alternatives and provide a choice for Americans.

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and 2016 GOP presidential candidate stated at a speak on Monday on national security at the American Legion in Hooksett, N.H. that Barack Obama has intentionally and deliberately weakened America both home and abroad. No kidding, really? Just curious, what has the establishment GOP done to prevent or stand in the way of Obama’s actions? Obama stated he was going to fundamentally change America, and sadly he has while Republicans in the House and Senate have done nothing. Rubio also called Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton a “liar” on foreign policy. Tell us something we don’t know. She is pretty much a liar in general. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) is accusing President Obama of intentionally weakening America at home and abroad.

“It’s now abundantly clear: Barack Obama has deliberately weakened America,” Rubio said early Monday during a speech on national security at the American Legion in Hooksett, N.H.

“He has made an intentional effort to humble us back to size,” the GOP presidential hopeful said. “As if to say: We no longer need to be so powerful because our power has done more harm than good.”

“Happiest of all have been America’s enemies,” he added. “Because when America steps back, it gives darker forces the space they need to rise. And rise they have.”

He also criticized Obama for ignoring international challenges and eroding safety at home.

“America is in far greater danger today than it was eight years ago,” Rubio said. “Our president thought he could make America like Luxembourg or Switzerland. But he can’t.

“We are the United States of America — the highest-profile, most important, most powerful country in the world. And while we may ignore problems that exist far away, those problems do not ignore us.”

Rubio cited China, Iran, Russia, Syria and North Korea as some of the global hotspots that have deteriorated on Obama’s watch.

He also argued that Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton is no better on foreign policy, again calling her a “liar.”

Ted Cruz Soars to Front of the Pack in Iowa Poll at 31%, Donald Trump in Second at 21%

Republican presidential candidate and non-establishment GOP candidate Sen. Ted Cruz has surged into the lead in Iowa in the latest Bloomberg Politics/Des Moines Register Iowa Poll.  Ted Cruz has surged into the lead in Iowa with 31%, followed by Donald Trump at 21%. Cruz’s 21-percentage-point jump since October is the largest surge between Iowa Polls recorded in at least the last five presidential caucus campaigns.

Don’t think the GOP establishment isn’t still have heart failure with Cruz now in the lead. The gutless GOP fears Cruz just as much as Trump. Just imagibe a general presidential election with an actual Conservative running. Maybe this time the GOP will win as opposed to past elections with Romney and McCain.

Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz has surged ahead to become the latest front-runner in the campaign for the Iowa caucuses, dislodging Ben Carson and opening an impressive lead over a stalled Donald Trump, a Bloomberg Politics/Des Moines Register Iowa Poll shows.

The firebrand junior senator from Texas is backed by 31 percent of those likely to attend the Republican caucuses that start the presidential nomination season on Feb. 1. Trump is a distant second at 21 percent, up slightly from 19 percent in October, but below his peak of 23 percent in August.

Cruz’s 21-percentage-point jump since October is the largest surge between Iowa Polls recorded in at least the last five presidential caucus campaigns. When first and second choices are combined, he has the support of 51 percent of likely caucus-goers. The senator’s great leap forward comes largely at the expense of Carson, as Iowa’s evangelicals appear to have picked the candidate they want to get behind. The retired neurosurgeon, now barely in third-place, is supported by 13 percent, down from the first-place showing he posted in October, when he was at 28 percent.

For Iowa’s conservative voters, “the coalescing has begun,” said J. Ann Selzer, founder of Selzer & Co., the West Des Moines-based firm that conducted the poll.

The same can’t be said for the voters who describe themselves as part of the Republican establishment, which the poll recorded as 29 percent of the likely electorate. For now, Trump has 23 percent from those who consider themselves Republican establishment voters, followed by Cruz at 22 percent. Senator Marco Rubio and his one time mentor, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, are both at 12 percent.
