Sultan of Brunei Threatens Muslims Who Celebrate Christmas With Up to 5 Years in Prison … Intended to Control the Act of Celebrating Christmas Excessively & Openly, Which Could Damage the Beliefs of the Muslim Community
IMAGINE IF WE TOLD MUSLIMS IN THE UNITED STATES THEY WOULD BE JAILED FOR CELEBRATING THEIR RELIGIOUS HOLIDAYS?
Sounds like a modern day Burgermeister Meisterburger … Talk about your War on Christmas. The Sultan of Brunei is warning residents of that if they plan on celebrating Christmas, they could face up to five years in jail. UNREAL, because Muslim countries are so tolerant, eh? So why arrest those who would dare celebrate Christmas or make plans to organize Christmas get-together’s? It is being done so in fear that celebrating Christmas will affect the faith of its country. In a statement from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, “These enforcement measures are…intended to control the act of celebrating Christmas excessively and openly, which could damage the aqidah (beliefs) of the Muslim community.”
So Muslims countries across the world can ban Christian religious celebrations and threaten individuals with jail time, but Muslims can come to the United States and celebrate their religion without any consequences what-so-ever and in many cases radicalize in mosques without a damn thing done to them.
The super-rich ruler of Brunei has told residents of his country that if they plan on celebrating Christmas, they could face up to five years in jail.
In fear the the religious holiday will affect the faith of its country, the tiny oil-rich nation’s Sultan, Hassanal Bolkiah, has banned the public celebration of Christmas.
Any Muslims caught celebrating Christmas, and non-Muslims who are discovered organising celebrations, could face the lengthy prison sentence.
While non-Muslims are allowed to celebrate the holiday within their own communities, they must not disclose their plans to the nation’s Muslims – which make up 65 per cent of the 420,000-strong population.
Around 20 per cent of Brunei’s residents are non-Muslim, including substantial Buddhist and Christian communities.
‘These enforcement measures are…intended to control the act of celebrating Christmas excessively and openly, which could damage the aqidah (beliefs) of the Muslim community,‘ said the Ministry of Religious Affairs in a statement.
Freedom of Religion is obviously in the Bill of Rights of the United States Constitution; however, how does a free and open society deal with a religion which is allowed to operate under “freedom of religion” which looks to spread and become the only region, even if by force?

Mother Teresa to Be Sainted After 2nd Miracle Declared
ITS ABOUT TIME, SHE HAS ALWAYS BEEN CONSIDERED A SAINT IN MY BOOK …
The Vatican stated today that Mother Teresa will be made a saint in the Roman Catholic Church. There is probably no person I can think of who is more deserving of this honor. Mother Teresa dedicated her life to helping the poor in India and the slums of Calcutta. She was beatified in 2003 as Blessed Teresa of Calcutta for healing an Indian woman’s tumor through divine intervention. However, two miracles are required for sainthood. It appears her second one was when she was involved the curing of a man in Santos, Brazil, with a serious viral brain infection.
I can remember doing a report on Mother Teresa back in high school and just being completely amazed by the conviction and compassion of this woman and her humanity in dealing with the poorest of the poor. In my personal opinion she was always a saint, now its just official.
Mother Teresa Last Speech
Mother Teresa, who dedicated her life to helping India’s poor, will be made a saint in the Roman Catholic Church, the Vatican said Friday
She will likely be canonized in September to coincide with the 19th anniversary of her death and Pope Francis’ Holy Year of Mercy, according to an Italian Catholic newspaper report.
The pontiff marked his 79th birthday on Thursday by approving a decree that the nun had performed a second miracle 11 years after her death, the Vatican confirmed in a statement.
She was beatified in 2003 as Blessed Teresa of Calcutta for healing an Indian woman’s tumor through divine intervention, but full sainthood requires the declaration of two miracles.
Her Missionaries of Charity helped the poor on the streets of the city, now known as Kolkata. She won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979.

Away in a Manger … Newborn Baby Discovered in New York Church’s Baby Jesus Nativity Scene
AWAY IN A MANGER, NO CRIB FOR A BED … CHRISTMAS SEASON MIRACLE … NEW BORN BABY FOUND IN NATIVITY SCENE …
A new born baby was discovered at the Holy Child of Jesus Church in New York in the Nativity scene in the manger. The baby still had the umbilical cord attached and was thought to be only a few hours old. The child was rushed to Jamaica Hospital for treatment, but was said to be healthy and in stable condition. The unknown mother obviously did not follow New York’s “safe haven” law when she abandoned the baby in the manger, but on the bright side, she did not abort it and now one of God’s children has a chance to be adopted and live the rest of its life.
New York has a so-called safe haven law that says a newborn can be dropped off anonymously at a church, hospital, police or fire station without fear of prosecution. But the law, known as the Abandoned Infant Protection Act, requires that the child be left with someone or for authorities to be called immediately.
Police said that didn’t happen in this case, which led investigators to begin searching for the person who dropped the child at the church.
The custodian on duty at the Holy Child of Jesus Church in New York this week beheld a scene straight out of Scripture. Hearing the sound of a baby’s cry, he found a newborn wrapped in towels lying inside, of all places, the wooden manger of the church’s nativity scene.
The infant, who weighed about 5 pounds, still had his umbilical cord attached. As emergency crews arrived to take him to the Jamaica Hospital in Queens, his eyes remained closed, his slight arms outstretched towards the sky.
“For unto us a child is born,” Rev. Christopher Ryan Heanue announced on the parish’s Facebook page. “Let us pray for this child, for his parents and for whomever will receive him into their home.”
The identity of the baby’s mother is still unknown, though police told the New York Times that a video shows a woman arriving with the baby and departing without him. She likely entered the church between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday, the period in which the custodian left the empty chapel for lunch.
Doctors said the baby had been born just four to five hours before he was found, and police told the Associated Press that he is in good health.
UPDATE I: Mother Who Left Baby in NYC Nativity Manger Won’t Be Charged.
A mother who left her newborn baby in a Christmas manger inside a New York City church will not be prosecuted, authorities said Wednesday.
“After a full review of all the facts and circumstances surrounding the discovery of a newborn infant this past Monday in a creche inside of Holy Child Jesus Church in the Richmond Hill section of Queens County – including locating and interviewing the mother – my office has determined that no criminal prosecution of the child’s mother is warranted,” Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said in a statement.

Pastor Kills Brick-Wielding Man during Sunday Church Service in Detroit
THOU SHALL NOT KILL UNLESS YOU ARE ATTACKED BY A CRAZED MAN WITH A BRICK …
A Detroit pastor shot and killed a brick-weilding man with his Glock handgun during a Sunday church service. The incident allegedly happened about 15 minutes into the 1:30 p.m. service at the City of God ministries storefront church on Grand River near Lahser. According to the Detroit Free Press, the man with the brick never actually made it into the church, but went after the pastor in the vestibule. The pastor responded with gunfire, shooting the man multiple times, hitting the man in the chest. The man died a short while later at Botsford Hospital. The pastor was taken into police custody for questioning.
There is no separation of Church and Glock
Violence marred a church service Sunday when a man with a brick attacked the pastor, who whipped out his Glock handgun and fired several shots, killing the man, Detroit police said.
The incident allegedly happened about 15 minutes into the 1:30 p.m. service at the City of God ministries storefront church on Grand River near Lahser, Assistant Chief Steve Dolunt said.
“The pastor had had issues with the man before,” Dolunt said. “He had been threatening him to do bodily harm. He walked into the service and went after the pastor with a brick. The pastor pulled out his Glock and fired several shots. I think he hit him 4 or 5 times, and the man died.”
The pastor was taken into police custody for questioning, Dolunt said.
After the questioning wraps up, police will submit a warrant request to prosecutors, who will then decide whether the shooting was justified.
“We’re not sure at this point whether the man had mental problems or what,” Dolunt said. “It’s still under investigation.”
As we always say, don’t bring a brick to a gun fight.
Football Coach Joe Kennedy at Bremerton High School in Washington Says He Will Defy School’s Prayer Ban
SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND FOOTBALL?
Because saying a prayer before and after a game is such a terrible thing. Bremerton High School football coach Joe Kennedy says that he will defy the school’s prayer ban. With all the bad things going in in our school’s today, how could a coach praying and giving thanks and glory to God be a bad thing and something that our liberal agenda driven education system consider a “problematic practice”. HUH? Think about this, this country has so lost its way that it is considered a bad thing for students who volunteer to say a prayer with the coach post-game, thanking God for the safety of his players is worthy of being investigated and a bad thing. Talk about the struggle between Good and Evil.
How sad is it that a few intolerant people, who look to impose their beliefs on others claiming they are offended are allowed to reject the Founding document of the United States. To those that are so offended by prayer, don’t participate.
There’s a scene in the great football film “Facing the Giants” when the coach decides to implement a new coaching philosophy – to praise God no matter what the result.
Joe Kennedy, a football coach at Bremerton High School in Washington, was so inspired by the film he decided to embrace that philosophy – knowing that to do so could cost him his job. I’ll explain why in just a few more paragraphs.
Kennedy, a Desert Storm and Desert Shield combat veteran, made national headlines in September after the Bremerton School District launched an investigation into his post-game prayer.
Since 2008, Coach Kennedy would walk to the 50-yard line where he would offer a short prayer of thanksgiving for the safety of the players, the fairness of the game and for spirited competition. Over the years, students joined the coach – all voluntarily.
“I’m being investigated for thanking God for the opportunities that have been given me,” he said. “It’s absolutely ridiculous.”
So what part of the U.S. Constitution doesn’t the superintendent of the Bremerton School District not get? Or maybe he is not aware of Freedom of Speech and freedom of religious expression. It is not illegal to pray and for people to voluntarily participate when some one prays. The Liberty Institute has come to the aid of coach Kennedy and is now representing him in this
Liberty Institute, a law firm that specializes in religious liberty cases, now represents Coach Kennedy and they fired off a letter on Wednesday to the school district urging them to rescind the prayer ban.
“There is no lawful prohibition against Coach Kennedy’s practice of saying a private, post-game prayer,” attorney Hiram Sasser wrote. “The prayers are Coach Kennedy’s private religious speech, and no reasonable observer could conclude that BHS sponsors, endorses, or encourages student participation.”
Sasser blasted the school district for “banning Coach Kennedy from bowing his head or even being physically present where students may be praying.”
He said such action is blatantly unconstitutional.
