Wishing All a Happy & Blessed Easter 2016 from Scared Monkeys: HE IS RISEN. TRUELY, HE IS RISEN

MAY EVERYONE HAVE A HAPPY AND BLESSED EASTER …

Easter 2016

He is risen, truly, He is risen. Sorry, I have been out of town this weekend visiting friends. Wishing everyone the happiest of Easters! Please remember that Easter represents the true meaning of hope eternal and the rebirth of our Lord Jesus Christ as he died and rose again. As you have your Easter egg hunts, open your Easter baskets and enjoy Easter dinner, please remember that the resurrection of our Lord provides us with eternal hope and rebirth.

Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia!
Sing, ye heavens, and earth reply, Alleluia!

Love’s redeeming work is done, Alleluia!
Fought the fight, the battle won, Alleluia!
Death in vain forbids him rise, Alleluia!
Christ has opened paradise, Alleluia!

Lives again our glorious King, Alleluia!
Where, O death, is now thy sting? Alleluia!
Once he died our souls to save, Alleluia!
Where’s thy victory, boasting grave? Alleluia!

Soar we now where Christ has led, Alleluia!
Following our exalted Head, Alleluia!
Made like him, like him we rise, Alleluia!
Ours the cross, the grave, the skies, Alleluia!

Hail the Lord of earth and heaven, Alleluia!
Praise to thee by both be given, Alleluia!
Thee we greet triumphant now, Alleluia!
Hail the Resurrection, thou, Alleluia!

King of glory, soul of bliss, Alleluia!
Everlasting life is this, Alleluia!
Thee to know, thy power to prove, Alleluia!
Thus to sing, and thus to love, Alleluia!

One of my favorite singers and songs … Michael W. Smith – Above All

Crucified, laid behind a stone
You lived to die rejected and alone
Like a rose trampled on the ground
You took the fall and thought of me
Above all

Luke 24:1-6

On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen!

I’ll never know how much it cost to see my sin upon that cross.
I’ll never know how much it cost to see my sin upon that cross.
And I’ll never know how much it cost to see my sin upon that cross.
No I’ll never know how much it cost to see my sin upon that cross.

Here I am to worship,
Here I am to bow down,
Here I am to say that you’re my God,
You’re altogether lovely,
Altogether worthy,
Altogether wonderful to me.
So Here I am to worship,
Here I am to bow down,
Here I am to say that you’re my God,

Pope Francis Calls Donald Trump Anti-Christian because of His Position on Illegal Immigration

THE POPE SAID WHAT, HEY FRANCIS … STICK TO RELIGION AND MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS?

It would appear that now Donald Trump and the Pope are now in a war of words, but this time it was not of Trump’s doing. Pope Francis said Thursday that Donald Trump was “not Christian” if he wants to address illegal immigration by building a wall. Really Your Holiness, you mean the Vatican does not have walls around it that keep people out? Really? Whats the difference? Why don’t we just let all the illegals go to the Vatican? A note to the Pope, you might want to stay out of the sovereign affairs of other countries.

Remember when the Pope said, “who am I to judge?” You do remember that, right Pope Francis? Maybe you might want to follow your own words for all and not just some.

Thrusting himself into the heated American presidential campaign, Pope Francis declared Thursday that Donald Trump is “not Christian” if he wants to address illegal immigration only by building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.

Trump fired back ferociously, saying it was “disgraceful” for a religious leader to question a person’s faith.

“A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian,” he said. While Francis said he would “give the benefit of the doubt” because he had not heard Trump’s border plans independently, he added, “I say only that this man is not a Christian if he has said things like that.”

Donald Trump fired back at Pope Francis questioning why a religious leader would question an individuals faith. I have been highly critical of Donald Trump and his all too often disrespectful name calling and his lack of focusing on the bigger picture than getting to often bogged down in the weeds, but I am with Trump on this one. What the hell was the Pontiff thinking? This is a Pope that has embraced socialist and leaders like the Castro brothers but has the nerve to call Trump anti-Christian. WTH!!! In the end, the Pope probably just gave Trump more votes heading into this weekends South Carolina primary and Nevada caucus. How often is it that you get into a dust up with the Pope and win? Trump probably just did.

“For a religious leader to question a person’s faith is disgraceful,” he said at a campaign stop in South Carolina, which holds a key primary on Saturday. “I am proud to be a Christian, and as president I will not allow Christianity to be consistently attacked and weakened.”

Trump also raised the prospect of the Islamic State extremist group attacking the Vatican, saying that if that happened, “the pope would have only wished and prayed that Donald Trump would have been president because this would not have happened.”

Trump eased off later Thursday, saying he thought the pope’s comments were “probably a little bit nicer” than first reported.

The American Thinker makes some very important points and advice for the Pope in evaluating the comments made and how and why he would make such foolish ones. I have to say, I second the American Thinker on every point.

First, El Papa should stay away from presidential elections, here, there, and everywhere.

Second, the Vatican is one gigantic place surrounded by walls.

Third, is a border now un-Christian?  How did we get to the point that defending borders and promoting legal immigration is now inhumane?

Fourth, El Papa has given Mr. Trump a huge gift.  I am not a Trump supporter, but I believe that the U.S. has every right to protect and defend its borders.  I don’t know whether building a wall from Laredo to San Diego is the best answer.  However, it may work in some isolated regions currently used by cartels to bring drugs and people.

Last, but not least, El Papa just visited Cuba.  He hugged and embraced Raúl Castro, a man who has executed priests, harassed religious leaders, and closed Christian schools years ago.  Did he call the Castro brothers un-Christian?

Pope Francis is a good man, but he needs a few people around him to protect him from himself.

Indiana Police Officer Provides a Prayer, Not a Ticket, After Pulling Over Speeding Driver Upset Over his Daughter’s Cancer Diagnosis (VIDEO)

AMAZING HOW THE MSM NEVER SEEMS TO MAKE THESE KIND OF POLICE STORIES NATIONAL NEWS …

The power of prayer … Indiana State Police Sgt. Todd Durnil had pulled Rodney Gibson over for speeding when the officer noticed that Gibson appeared to be very upset and angry. However, Gibson was not upset about the traffic stop, but rather about something else going on in his life. Gibson told the police officer that his daughter was recently told the breast cancer she’d been battling for six years metastasized and that she likely wasn’t going to make it. Officer Durnil did not give Gibson a speeding ticket, but instead knelled and prayed with Rodney Gibson that he and his family would have the Lord’s peace during this difficult time. Add this to a long list of random acts of kindness provided by law enforcement that does not fit the agenda of the MSM against law enforcement.

On his way back to his patrol car, Durnil said his first thought was that Gibson really needed prayers and that he would tell his family and church to pray for Gibson.

“I also thought, this man already has enough, I’m not going to write him any paperwork for a ticket or even a warning,” he said. “When I walked back to his truck, I explained everything. He still seemed agitated, but not as bad, and he apologized, saying, ‘I’m sorry, I usually don’t act this way, I’ve just been going through a lot.’”

Durnil then asked Gibson if there was anything else if he could do for him and Gibson told him, “Do you know how to pray?”

“Here I was thinking this man needs prayer, and now he’s asking me for a prayer,” Durnil said. “The good Lord put us together for a purpose.”

Trooper prays with driver upset over his daughter’s cancer diagnosis.

It can be stressful enough to see a police car behind you, but imagine getting pulled over after learning your child is dying from cancer.

Rodney Gibson was driving on SR 37 in Monroe County Monday, struggling to accept his daughter’s breast cancer was not going away.

He was so upset, he did not realize he was speeding.

Trooper Durnil decided to not give him a ticket and instead walked over, thinking Rodney needed some prayers.

Durnil then prayed with him.

Gibson was so appreciative, he started crying.

He even called Trooper Durnil’s post in Bloomington to share his appreciation for his kindness.

Pope Francis issues Christmas Day Prayer … Calls For Prayers for Syria, Libya Peace and Condemns Radical-Islamic “Brutal Acts of Terrorism”

ITS ABOUT TIME THE POPE MADE ISIS AND RADICAL ISLAM A GREATER THREAT THAN GLOBAL WARMING …

Today, Pope Francis issued a Christmas Day prayer from the central balcony of St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome that called for peace for Syria and Libya, prayers for the suffering and denounced the radical Islamist “monstrous evil” and atrocities.” The Pope made reference to the heinous terror attacks in Paris earlier this year. He also made mention of the attacks in Egypt’s airspace and in Beirut, Mali and Tunisia. The Pope further went in to denounce the ongoing conflicts in Africa, the Middle East and Ukraine and issued words of consolation to Christians being persecuted for their faith in many parts of the world. Isn’t it quite amazing that pretty much all that the Pope is referencing as “monstrous evil” and atrocities” is at the hands of radical Islam? The Pope stated, “Only God’s mercy can free humanity from the many forms of evil, at times monstrous evil, which selfishness spawns in our midst.”

Pope Francis issued a Christmas Day prayer that recent U.N.-backed peace processes for Syria and Libya will quickly end the suffering of their people, denouncing the “monstrous evil” and atrocities they have endured and praising countries that have taken in refugees.

Speaking from the central balcony of St. Peter’s Basilica, Francis issued a plenary indulgence for all Catholics in hopes of spreading the church’s message of mercy in a world torn by war, poverty and extremist attacks. The sun-soaked St. Peter’s Square was under heavy security, as it has been since the Nov. 13 Paris attacks by Islamic extremists that left 130 dead.

An indulgence is an ancient church tradition related to the forgiveness of sins. Francis announced it after delivering his annual “Urbi et Orbi” (To the city and the world) speech listing global hotspots and his prayers for an end to human suffering.

Francis referred to the “brutal acts of terrorism” that struck the French capital this year, as well as attacks in Egypt’s airspace and in Beirut, Mali and Tunisia. He denounced the ongoing conflicts in Africa, the Middle East and Ukraine and issued words of consolation to Christians being persecuted for their faith in many parts of the world.

“They are our martyrs of today,” he said.

Joy to the World, the Lord has Come … Wishing all a very Merry Christmas on this blessed day!!!

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men
And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.
And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger (Luke 2:10-16)
