MSNBC’s Arrogent Lib Chris Matthews Says to Black Pastor on Gay Marriage: “I Hope You Evolve” (Video)

Chris Matthews, the MSNBC host who usually plays the race card and deems folks racist who do not agree with his opinion, has entered new and appalling territory. Matthews said to black pastor Bishop Harry Jackson, who opposes gay marriage,  … “I hope you evolve”. Really? So much for someone having a differing opinion and set of religious values. I guarantee if anyone on the Right made the comment to a black individual that I hope they evolve, would be called a racist.

Hardball anchor Chris Matthews, who routinely smears his political opponents as racist, on Monday lectured an African American minister who opposes gay marriage, “I hope you evolve.” The host patronizingly added, “I’m just teasing.” [See video below. MP3 audio here.] How would he (or MSNBC for that matter) react if a conservative said such a thing to a black leader?

From NewsBusters:

5:39

CHRIS MATTHEWS: Do you think he would have been chasing after the kid with long hair and cutting his hair or he would have been the one protecting the kid with long hair in high school?

BISHOP HARRY JACKSON: He would have been protecting the kid with long hair.

MATTHEWS: Right. I thought so. But you’re with the guy who was going after the kid with long hair.

JACKSON: No, no, no. I’m not necessarily with him right now.

MATTHEWS: Oh, you’re not with Romney?

JACKSON: I’m not with Romney at this point. I want to say something about righteousness and justice. The Bible talks very clearly about how righteousness, which is like personal morality and holiness. It also talks about justice. What’s broken in American politics is that the Democrats think they own social justice. The Republicans think they own righteousness, but the Bible doesn’t take righteousness or justice, it takes righteousness and justice.

5:43

JACKSON: Why not let the Muslims have polygamy and bigamy?

MATTHEWS: Mr. Bishop, I hope you evolve. Thank you very much. I’m just teasing.

JACKSON: That’s all right.

The position taken by President Barack Obama is going to hurt him dearly in the black churches. Now its up to the MSM to go after those blacks and demonize them.

Obama Way Behind in Catholic Vote As Compared to 2008 … Gallup Poll Tied at 46% A Piece

Once again we see that for Barack Obama, this ain’t 2008 anymore. Obama’s war on religion taking its toll on his poll numbers.

In the 2008 Presidential election, Barack Obama won the Catholic vote by nine points, 54% to 45%, over John McCain on his way to a seven-point victory.  That was then, this is now.  According to the most recent Gallup poll, Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are tied with the Catholic vote at 46% to 46%. Protestants are also supporting Romney by 9 points, 51% to 41%. As stated at Hot Air, it would appear that Obama has completely alienated and lost millions of Catholic votes after announcing the HHS mandate that would force religious hospitals, schools, and charities to fund contraception, sterilization, and abortifacients.

Catholic voters in the United States are evenly split in their support for Barack Obama and Mitt Romney for president, mirroring the national trend. However, Hispanic Catholics — about 18% of the total group of Catholic voters — are overwhelmingly likely to support Obama over Romney, while a majority of non-Hispanic white Catholics support Romney.

Catholics constitute almost one in four voters in the U.S. today. Did Obama really want to upset that voting block? Also, the US Conference of Catholic Bishops have not relented on the issue of the HHS mandate, and have been so provoked by Obama that they will be openly campaigning against Obama. Fear not Barack Obama, you seem to have a leg up with the heathen vote.

Religious White Catholics Support Romney; the Nonreligious, Obama

Non-Hispanic white Catholics themselves, who make up 75% of all Catholic registered voters, are far from monolithic in their vote choice. As a general rule in today’s political world, the more religious the American, the more likely he or she is to be a Republican and vote for Republican candidates. This rule of thumb is evident among white Catholic voters. Among non-Hispanic white Catholics whom Gallup categorizes as “very religious” or “moderately religious,” Romney wins over Obama by 30- and 22-point margins, respectively. Among nonreligious Catholics, Obama wins by 54% to 40%.

Happy Easter 2012 from Scared Monkeys … HE IS RISEN, TRULY, HE IS RISEN!

Scared Monkeys wishes all a Happy Easter …  HE IS RISEN, TRULY, HE IS RISEN!

Easter represents the greatest story of  “Hope & Change” ever. Never forget that true hope comes from above, not from man. As (John 3:16 states,  “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” However, never forget that Without the Crucifixion, there would have been no Resurrection. A Resurrection that represents eternal rebirth.

JESUS CHRIST Is Risen Today – Alleluia! – EASTER HYMN

Christ the Lord is risen today, Alleluia!
Earth and heaven in chorus say, Alleluia!
Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia!
Sing, ye heavens, and earth reply, Alleluia!

Love’s redeeming work is done, Alleluia!
Fought the fight, the battle won, Alleluia!
Death in vain forbids him rise, Alleluia!
Christ has opened paradise, Alleluia!

Lives again our glorious King, Alleluia!
Where, O death, is now thy sting? Alleluia!
Once he died our souls to save, Alleluia!
Where’s thy victory, boasting grave? Alleluia!

Soar we now where Christ has led, Alleluia!
Following our exalted Head, Alleluia!
Made like him, like him we rise, Alleluia!
Ours the cross, the grave, the skies, Alleluia!

Hail the Lord of earth and heaven, Alleluia!
Praise to thee by both be given, Alleluia!
Thee we greet triumphant now, Alleluia!
Hail the Resurrection, thou, Alleluia!

King of glory, soul of bliss, Alleluia!
Everlasting life is this, Alleluia!
Thee to know, thy power to prove, Alleluia!
Thus to sing, and thus to love, Alleluia!

Luke 24:1-6

On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen!

Above All – Michael W. Smith

Crucified, laid behind a stone
You lived to die rejected and alone
Like a rose trampled on the ground
You took the fall and thought of me
Above all

Happy Easter to All, remember “Above All” let there always be true hope in your lives. God Bless.

Whitney Houston Funeral Service Celebrate Houston’s Voice, Love & Faith During her Homegoing Service at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, NJ … She is Now With Him

The funeral was held today for Whitney Houston at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, NJ. Whitney Houston had passed away at the age of 48, tragically far too young.

Even though we are not perfect on Earth, today at Whitney Houston’s Homegoing service actor Keven Costner reminded us that she was the “perfect’ choice for him and her starring role in the 1992 movie “The Bodyguard.” For our many faults, sins and demons there are on Earth, we were also reminded today that we are all ‘perfect” in Heaven. May the grace of the Lord be with you forever Whitney, God Bless and Rest in eternal Peace.

Speaking at the service in Newark, Costner recounted his own second thoughts of putting her up for the role. She was a novice, he said, and the studio had questions of whether choosing a person of color would be good for the box office.

Doubts began to spread to the young entertainer.

In the end, Costner said, Houston nailed the tryout and went on to further fame and success.

“So off you go Whitney, off you go, escorted by an army of angels to your heavenly father,” Costner told mourners at the funeral. “And when you sing before him, don’t you worry. You’ll be good enough.”

For much more coverage and VIDEO’s of today’s services, go to CNN.

At the conclusion of the service Whitney Houston’s coffin was lead from the church was her smash recording  “I Will Always Love You” was played. What better way to finish the service than to hear Houston’s amazing voice fill up the New Hope Baptist Church one more time. What a fantastic voice, imagine that playing in Heaven for eternity?

I would be remiss if I did not mention Whitney Houston’s greatest love of all. Whitney’s amazing voice began in the church and ended there today as well. However, it was obvious today from many that even though she battled her demons of drug addiction, she never lost sight of trying to find “Him”. I am reminded by a post from the Gateway Pundit of Houston’s come back song, that I had forgotten … “I Look to You”. This might be Whitney Houston’s greatest lasting legacy in music to all of us.  Please take a moment and listen. For all those who have looked to HIM during times of loss, hardship and our human failings. Whitney, there is no more pain, only eternal Love and Peace … Rest in Peace.

I Look To You

As I lay me down
Heaven hear me now
I’m lost without a cause
After giving it my all

Winter storms have come
And darkened my sun
After all that I’ve been through
Who on earth can I turn to?

Chorus:
I look to you,
I look to you
After all my strength is gone
In you I can be strong
I look to you,
I look to you
And when melodies are gone In you I hear a song
I look to you

’bout to lose my breath
There’s no more fighting left
Sinking to rise no more
Searching for that open door

And every road that I’ve taken
Led to my regret
And I don’t know if I’m go’n make it
Nothing to do but lift my head

Chorus:

My levees are broken
My walls are coming down on me
My rain is falling
Defeat is calling
I need you to set me free
Take me far away from the battle
I need you
Shine on me!

AMEN WHITNEY HOUSTON!

Barack Obama Plays Politics at National Prayer Breakfast … Justifies His Taxing the Rich Because that is What Jesus Would Do

WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO OBAMA’S SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE?

Dear Barack Obama, there is only one Messiah, please do not believe your press clippings that you are the Obamamessiah. Trust me, you are hardly the “One” we have been waiting for.

Yesterday at the National Prayer Breakfast, President Barack Obama decided to make the event what all his events are … political. The One took the opportunity to justify his taxes on the rich because that is what Jesus would tax the rich. Really Mr. President. Just curious, what ever happened to separation of Church and State? Oh that’s right, you only use that when its convenient for you. What a shock that Obama would do the unthinkable and use a religious event for his partisan policies.

The rich should pay more not only because “I actually think that is going to make economic sense, but for me as a Christian, it also coincides with Jesus’s teaching that ‘for unto whom much is given, much shall be required,’” Obama said at the Washington Hilton, delivering remarks at an annual event that every president has attended since Dwight D. Eisenhower.

“We can all benefit from turning to our Creator, listening to him,” Obama said. “Avoiding phony religiosity. … This is especially important right now when we’re facing some big challenges as a nation.”

Obama infused his remarks on spirituality with a populist message of economic fairness, echoing rhetoric he unveiled in December in Osawatomie, Kan., and returned to in his State of the Union address last week. Without countering his Republican presidential opponents head on, Obama offered a contrast to Mitt Romney’s positions on class and wealth.

The Lonely Conservative has the VIDEO so no one can spin that he either did not say it, or that it was not meant to be political.

What else would we expect from a man who learned Christianity at a church whose pastor would rant, “God damn America”. Or as the Gateway Pundit says, “Barack Obama is his Bother’s keeper, except for his own brother George.” A President who at every chance attacks religion, now cloaks himself in it to justify taxing the rich. Really Barack, is that all you got out of the Bible?

Barack Obama talks about everyone else having to pay taxes, yet when it comes  to giving of himself with charitable contributions, its a joke.  Why all of a sudden has Obama tried to evoke religion into the political discourse? Interestingly enough, no where during his speech at the National Prayer Breakfast did he refer to any Christians he wanted to tax as clinging to their Bibles. Go figure.

As the Bible teaches us, beware of false prophets. The tax comments are shallow words coming from a man who is the most polarizing President ever!  What would Jesus say about that.
