THE WAR ON CHRISTMAS CONTINUES WITH POLITICAL CORRECTNESS NONSENSE …

At Kings Point Intermediate School on Long Island, NY it was ok for the liberal school edumacators thought it was perfectly okay to offend Christians by sanitizing the Christmas song ‘Silent Night’ of all references to God so they did not offend others. Yup, because the birth of Jesus, the son of God is just of darn offensive. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! What kind of IDIOTS do we have running schools these days? Turns out they did offend many people, the parents that were wondering what song they were listening to their kids butcher.

There is anger at a Long Island school because they changed the words to the song “Silent Night.”

The district says it was to avoid offending people but it seems like it did the opposite.

Parents are so confused that 5th graders at RJO Intermediate School in Kings Park recently performed the song “Silent Night” with all religious words like Christ, God and Jesus taken out.

Dan Gallo, a parent of one of the students was completely offended by it.

“There is so many Christmas songs. Why would you change the lyrics to something that is very near and dear to so many people?” said Gallo.

Another parent, Tina Byrne, doesn’t have a problem with what the school did.

The school district says the school principal and the choral director decided to teach the students the altered version.

So what is the state of affairs of the reality TV show ‘Duck Dynasty’ going forward on A&E following their knee-jerk reaction to suspend family patriarch Phil Robertson indefinitely for stating his Constitutionally protected freedom of speech and region as a result of pressure from gay activist groups? The family makes it very well known that are about God and family first and foremost which would signal that the future of the show continuing on A&E without Phil is nil.

The Robertson Family Official Statement from Duck Commander.com:

We want to thank all of you for your prayers and support.  The family has spent much time in prayer since learning of A&E’s decision.  We want you to know that first and foremost we are a family rooted in our faith in God and our belief that the Bible is His word.  While some of Phil’s unfiltered comments to the reporter were coarse, his beliefs are grounded in the teachings of the Bible. Phil is a Godly man who follows what the Bible says are the greatest commandments: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart” and “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Phil would never incite or encourage hate. We are disappointed that Phil has been placed on hiatus for expressing his faith, which is his constitutionally protected right. Check this out, not only did sponsor Skyjacker pledge their support to Phil and the Robertson family and that they would stay with ‘Duck Dynasty,’ but according to TMZ, so is main sponsor Under Armour (UA).

The company adds, “We are obviously aware of the situation. And his comments are not indicative of Under Armour’s views.”

UA insists the company is committed to treating all people equally and with respect … even if Phil isn’t.

Duck Dynasty is a huge success and loved by so many, but the show may be going the way of the Do-Do bird. A&E has placed Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson on indefinite leave after he dare speak the truth of his religious beliefs in an interview with GQ Magazine. So once again we see that a network does not believe in freedom of speech or freedom of religion for an individual to make comments on his own time that had nothing to do with the show, Duck Dynasty. The comments that got Phil Robertson in trouble:

“It seems like, to me, a vagina – as a man – would be more desirable than a man’s anus. That’s just me,” Robertson stated. “I’m just thinking: There’s more there! She’s got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical.”

A note to A&E, Phil Robertson did not say that his comments or beliefs were that of A&E. So much for tolerance at A&E. The reason why 9 million people watch Duck Dynasty is because these folks are common, folksy people that many can relate to and are real. They are not a train wreck like most all reality shows. How shameful that A&E be pressured by GLAAD.

A&E has placed Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson on indefinite hiatus following anti-gay remarks he made in a recent profile in GQ.

“We are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertson’s comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected in the series Duck Dynasty,” A&E said in a statement. “His personal views in no way reflect those of A+E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community. The network has placed Phil under hiatus from filming indefinitely.”

The news comes after Robertson compared homosexuality to bestiality in an interview with the magazine. He’ll likely appear in season four, which bows Jan. 15, since production is largely wrapped.

“It seems like, to me, a vagina — as a man — would be more desirable than a man’s anus,” Robertson says in the January issue of the men’s magazine. “That’s just me. I’m just thinking: There’s more there! She’s got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical.”

Weasel Zippers adds, Phil Robertson said, “It seems like, to me, a vagina—as a man—would be more desirable than a man’s anus. That’s just me.” So true … and I would add that probably 99% of the men that watch Duck Dynasty probably feel the same.

UPDATE I: A&E released this statement from Phil Robertson addressing the controversy:

“I myself am a product of the 60s; I centered my life around sex, drugs and rock and roll until I hit rock bottom and accepted Jesus as my Savior. My mission today is to go forth and tell people about why I follow Christ and also what the Bible teaches, and part of that teaching is that women and men are meant to be together. However, I would never treat anyone with disrespect just because they are different from me. We are all created by the Almighty and like Him, I love all of humanity. We would all be better off if we loved God and loved each other.” Beyond that.

UPDATE II: Just another case of MEDIA BIAS.

Many people have argued over the years, in the face of the obvious evidence, that the media cannot be systematically biased to the Left because it would not make business sense to spurn more than half the population as customers. However, the recent decision by A&E to fire its biggest and most lucrative TV star because it is more concerned about catering to homosexuals than making money vividly demonstrates that politics and propaganda are more important to the media companies than making a profit:

A&E best be very careful as a backlash boycott and protest of the network and their sponsors by the 9 million viewers of Duck Dynasty could be right around the corner. A&E might want to “Fear the Beard,” this down home, country family is more popular than A&E.

TIME Magazine Selects Pope Francis as TIME’s Choice for Person of the Year 2013

TIME Magazine’s pick as the 2013 Person of the Year is  … Miley Cyrus Pope Francis.

Forgive me if I am a bit skeptical of Time’s choice for Pope Francis as being their ‘Person of the Year” for 2013, but I am. Not that Pope Francis is not a good man or deserving of this award, but TIME made the choice not because of his religious virtue and certainly not because they believe in Catholicism or the message it spreads. Doesn’t it feel like it was yesterday they were doing stories on the coverups of sexual predator Catholic priests? Let’s face it, the reason why they chose him is because Pope Francis criticized  “modern capitalism” ,in an attack on “the idolatry of money.”

Like I said, Pope Francis is an easy and justifiable choice, it is the reasons why he was picked that are suspect. In any other year Edward Snowden, the NSA whistle-blower would have won this hands down. He exposed the spying ways of the NSA and will continue to do so for months and years to come. Snowden’s exposing of the NSA has even made US lawmakers and foreign leaders question what this spy organization is doing.

However, Snowden finished second to Pope Francis for pretty much one reason and that is Time’s media bias to push Obama’s agenda of “income equity” otherwise known as socialism.

President Obama Leaves Out An Important Word In His Reading Of The Gettysburg Address … “Under God”

Why should anyone be surprised at anything he does anymore?

As if it was not bad enough that President Barack Obama did not attend the 150th anniversary of the Gettysburg Address, even though Obama claims that Lincoln is one of his heroes. A snub was not enough for this president, in a he managed to leave the word “under God” out of his reading of Lincoln’s great speech.  From NRO, in a recorded recitation uploaded to YouTube on November 9, President Obama read the address in its entirety. However, when it came to the line “that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom,” the President left out the words “under God.” Of course he did. Because this is what community agitators do, cause division, chaos and turmoil at every turn.

One nation under God?  Under President Obama, maybe not so much.

As first reported on WMAL’s Chris Plante Show Tuesday, the Commander-in-Chief joined a cast of 61 other noted lawmakers, politicians, news anchors and celebrities, including every living President, in reciting the Gettysburg Address, which President Abraham Lincoln delivered on November 19, 1863.

The dignitaries all delivered the address as Lincoln had written it, including the phrase, “that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom.” (Click to listen).  Curiously, however, in his version of the address, President Obama omitted the words “under God.”

But of course this was probably the first time Barack Obama was made aware that “under God” was actually in the Gettysburg Address. And it makes no matter as he was too busy fixing the Obamacare website to have noticed. Oh, and it was Bush’s and the GOP’s fault.

The irony of it all is best pointed out by the Heritage Foundation. It is a stretch for a big government, socialist liberal like Barack Obama who believes in the ‘nanny state,” seems to not have a grasp of the US Constitution, the separation of powers and that Our Government is supposed to be of, by and for the People. However, under Obama, he thinks that the people work for the government. The final line of Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address is, “that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth”.
